Good evening all,

We had some terrific weather today; it hit 75.  The family and I were in OKC today so the older two kids could undergo round two of allergy testing.  The results were what we expected: both of them have some allergies and require regular allergy shots.  The boy is still allergic to peanuts, but our daughter has already grown out of her wheat allergy.  That is significant as now the wife does not have to plan so many wheat-free meals which can be quite the task.  We had lunch at a great pizza place and then came home.  The daughter had ballet practice and I had to take the boy to get a toy since he took all the allergy testing shots so well.

Chief and CTT - Thanks for allowing the pot and forum.  I have been on for about over a year now and have learned a great deal.

Good night,

Joe

Good evening all, went to the doctor this afternoon about my leg problem.  He thinks it could be a ligament problem in the knee.  Prescribed prednisone to bring down inflamation.  Have to report back to him after 5 days of this. and follow up visit in two weeks.

Ordered the WBB Norfolk Southern Executive F3 A-B-A today for delivery whenever they come.

Had another operating session with problem MTH E6 units today and they ran good.  Responded to all commands in DCS except all lights are out now.  I replaced a lighting board once already for $200.  Don't think I will do that again.  I'll just run dark if I have to.  Might be able to wire lights to pick up roller in the future.

TTOS train meet coming up this coming Sunday in Arcadia.

Later,

Ray

Good evening guys.  A long day, started with prayers and our weekly men's group from church.  Went in early to watch a case as we are starting with a new technique and needed to over-see things.  All went well, but it made for a long day.

RT, hope you are feeling better!  Don't mess around, if it stays for more than a few days, go have it checked!  Some nasty funk has been making the rounds.

Got our passes to the zoo that we joined here.  Small place, but Jim Fowler is the head of it as this is his home town.  They have quite a number of different species as well.  They also have a number of activities for the kids.

Not much on the train front lately...have been on the busy side of things.  I really need the relaxation of the layout though.  Hope everyone is doing well.

God Bless,
Dennis

Mornin' boys.  Sunny & 36 here in the Mid-Atlantic region.  We dodged the weather bullet yesterday.

Reminder --- YORK registration due in by this Friday.

Chief - Read last night on our blotter that a veteran NC tac guy died from an accidental flash grenade detonation.

Sure wish I could make York this year. Crying

YES, SAD.  Was securing his equipment when it went off.  Charlotte Mecklenburg Officer.  Sad

Sunny but cooler.  Had a nice big rain last night.  Off to the lake house [finally].  Deck to take down and new one to build.  Got to be back Friday night.

Lunch Time,

Good day at work, so far.

Chief, The Coffee Pot is a great way to make new friends in the hobby, Thanks, to you, CTT and Bob.

RT, Good luck with the soar throat. Get well soon.

8n, Keep up the humor with your wife and her PT. I feel that laughter heals.

Harold, Cherish the days of the Blue & Gold Dinners. They grow up too fast.

Laz, Beware of the Ides of March. I can remember many cold days and nights out in the snow storms in March.

Fife, My wife and I thank you for the info. My wife says that she is going to lounge in the pool when Meghan does the photo shoot. And then it is sight seeing, shopping and dinner.

RI Jack, they drive the same way in Jersey. They also like to run into utility poles. A lot of time when they are still on the trailer, when they are horizontal. They talk on the phones, when the truck passes them they turn into the pole. Bang HeadSigh

Back to work,

John

Good Mornin' Ya'll From Crisp and Clear Taxachussetts,

Roy.......hope you are feeling better.

Chief........[bday] Cake Beer  Thanks for launching this thread 6 years ago.  And to Bob and CTT for surviving us.  Big Smile  I read your post about having Bluetooth capability in your new Garmin GPS.  Great feature.  I have always felt driving while yakking on a cell phone was a dangerous combo, distraction, but hands free is definitely an improvement.  A guy texting while driving last week drove his car off a bridge and into the Danvers River about 4 miles from here.  Folks here in Taxachussetts can't drive, let alone doing it while distracted.

DonB......I am torn about the choices you have left me.  How about a picture of lovable you with choice (A) also in the picture?  Whistling

Jon........last year at this time I was cleaning up Fall and Winter debris in the yard, performing dog poo patrol, and dropping that first coat of fertilizer and limestone on the lawn.  Won't be doing that for a few weeks since we're still staring at 18"-30" of snow on 95% of the lawn with 4 foot high mounds remaining in a few spots.  Sigh

Later, gang.

Jack

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....

It's a cold and clear 28 degrees. Going up to 38 today with sunshine.

Today is a busy day. I have a few errands to run and the usual chores around the house. Then, I will relax, this afternoon. Maybe a nap. Baseball season is coming soon.

Dining car has arrived from " Points West" and it has Cheerios for breakfast.

Y'all have a great day.

Good morning all,

IIABSDISEI with temps reaching the 40s.  First day back to work was busy, but not overwhelming.  Case load not too bad, but I have another round of labs to do today.  Hmmmm....  Quiet evening at home.  Odd that I get to post on the first page during a work day.  I had the regular fare on the dining car for breakfast before sending it on to "Points East".  TBIL after "Glee" and V.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Happy march.  The sun actually showed itself today!

Wife's PT was here today.  He got a chuckle over the idea of handcuffing her to the walker.

All for now.

Well, here it is a little early but fresh.  April 1 will be our 6 year aniv.  Was in Savanah GA doing a Bass Pro Shops event when the first continous Pot was started.  Was doing a new one each day when Elliot suggested we run a continous one.  Ran for years until Berggie interfeared.  Now we have to do one each month.  Saves server space I'm sure.  Glad CTT lets us do this.  Thanks CTT and Bob Keller.
