 Doug--

The day became "complicated" to say the least but it all ended well, thank goodness.  Repacking right now and ready to move further west.  Both Sharyl and I commented tonight that we missed your museum as it does occupy a spot in our hearts.  This fall for sure Thumbs Up

80 and sunny today.

DDG - When I was living in Bowling Green, Ky., my lot was just a 10 acre field away from the L&N main line.  What are the chances your Grand Dad went by what would eventually be my place?

Prayers for Spanky, and others.

Later, all.

Lucky "sucker"!!!!  Now you missed one of the best train layouts at the museum.  It was great when I got to visit it.

Spank, hope the knee gets well fast.  Prayers.

OT, send rain.  None in the forecast for us for next seven days.  Getting dry.  Had three drops tonight and it moved on.

Off to bed.  Did not finish movie and neither did wifey [I reclinerized and she couchirized].  Good night.

HI GUYZ,

32 and frosty fog here.  To get to 65.

ROCKISLAND 52,Happy B-Day TO YOU JACK and many more.

OL TIMER and JACK,  I had 3 operations on knees from playing those kid sports like football.  Worst happened in colloge freshman year, had torn ACL in left knee.  Got fixed up had a nice carreer playing football in college.  Just kept on running after that.  Knees hurt from time to time but I still keep going.  When they hurt I take a break for a wek or so.

Stay frosty,

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....

It is a sunny 48 degrees. Going up to 76 today with sunshine.

Today is a busy day. I have several errands to run and a few chores to do. Then, I have PT this afternoon. Still a little sore from Monday. Maybe this will loosen the muscles up.

Happy Birthday, Jack Happy B-Day

Dining car is here for the usual breakfast.

Y'all have a great Wednesday.

Good morning all,

IIABSDISEI with temps near 80 today.  Washed the van for the "saucy wench" last night.  Used the new hose reel to wind and unwind the hose.  Should have gotten one of those years ago.  Watched "Glee".  The Madonna takeoff at the end was hilarious.  Work was busy yesterday, but got a lot done.  Soccer tonight.  Will have all the grandkids here at some point this weekend, but not all at the same time.  JD walk behind (new one) is kaput.  Will cost over $200 to have it fixed to just get it running and I can buy an aluminum deck Toro with 5 year warranty for a little over $500.   Hmmmm.....  I had bacon and biscuits on the dining car for breakfast.  TBIL after soccer and I can drive.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Hi Ho, Hi Ho its off to work.

You are doing a great job.  My SS was in my account before midnight.  Keep it up. Approve

Morning.  Cloudy and cool [actually normal temps for this time of the year, we've been running about 10 degrees above normal].  Probably off to the lake later.  Lucy and I will mow and mow.  Being lazy right night.  Had country stuffed sausage biscuits and coffee for breakfast.  Chat later.

BTW: Reason Mike C is having problems with a JD is, JD is made for the real man, not soccer players. Whistling   another jab.  hard to get old Mike C.

Mornin' boys.  Mornin' English. 40's with a lifting fog (s'posed to get up to 60) here in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Zzz a whole lot better last night with the ship being fixed.  Lawn is calling for my attention today.  Gonna plant some new flowers from QVC.

Stay foamy. Pirate

Good Mornin', Ya'll, From Sunny Taxachusetts,

NavyJack......well, it isn't your B-day and it isn't mine.  Don't know how it all got started but let's just go with it.  Maybe the guys will send us some 3 rail presents, operating accesories, or some layout scenery.  Big Smile

Fife.....Thanks for the invite.  I helped crew a 36 footer (hold a rope, secure a bumper, drink beer) out of Newburyport MA and didn't fall overboard once.  Didn't lose any of the ship's gear either.  The Merrimack River runs from the port out to the Atlantic and with it's fast current was quite treacherous.  One of my buddies moored his sailboat off Grant Park in Chicago when he was single and could afford such things.  He assured me that NOTHING removes a woman's inhibitions faster than than a smooth sail out of the sight of civilization.  Is this a fact?  Pirate

Spank......you are probably a hurting cowboy about now.  You'll be better in a day or two.  Hang in there.  The results will pay you back every day from hereon in.  Prayers for a speedy recovery.  Good news on the Mom front.  It sounds like everything keeps moving in the right direction.

Jon......re DougDG's comment, the thought of you in a grass skirt reminds me of some horror movies I watch on TV. Shock

Laz......I've too have had 3 knee surgeries.  Same story, college sports and later a company picnic after that, these were the sites of my injuries.  My rehabs got me back in action too with the knee feeling really good......slight swelling was the only residual after some sporting activity.

Chuck......muscle pain is good pain, means you are doing things right.  Thumbs Up on the increased PT sessions.  Is 24 cans enough?  Your goal is to be able to run down the nurses first.   Whistling

Later gang.  All of this talk of lawn mowing has me feeling guilty but inspired.  Need gas.

Jack.

Aloha all. Sunny and cool. Certainly not the 80s predicted. Home at midday for the drive out to the DMV with the birthday boy. Fortunately, he has simple tastes for his birthday - some White Sox gear and his own keys to the cars Wink. Hope everyone has a pleasant day.

Morning all!

I found the theme song for Fife's sail boat. Even better is it is being performed by his capable crew!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7fYli-GRPA&feature=related

Happy birthday to all having one. I saw several references but cannot remember all of them to list them here. Happy B-Day

Another beaut here today. High 70's maybe low 80's. Then we have scattered showers predicted for the rest of the week and through the weekend. It's all good as we could use a little rain right now.

Puilling the boat out of the storage locker this afternoon to take it in and get it un-winterized.

Have a great day all!

Regards, Roy

Man it got chilly .... darn yanks .... Sad  and I was just starting to let my neighbors enjoy my lily white legs and boney knees ... Smile,Wink, & Grin  ... a sight to behold .... Dead

Not much on the home front .... washed down my 12 hogs and as soon as it warms up .. going to shoot them with a couple coats of dulling agent or dullcote . Shiney pigs just don't get it .... a few getting the light pale pink paint .... then to design and build a pig pen with troughs and add some dirt effects to them . Looked everywhere for O scale piglets .... none to be had .... darn it .

Yea I know SJ .... dullcote spoils the taste of the ham / meat .... LOL

Full house on the chat last night with Brutus = Sir James = Doug-CNW = RT = and my buddy Charlie . Quite a few laughs from jokes and comments from SJ and was very enjoyable .

FIFEY .... that looks like a heck of a nice boat buddy .... have you learned to master sailing her under sails ? Pirate   Did you get a pirate's flag for her yet ?

CHIEF ... my bad /mistake ... my SS check comes next week .... not this one as I posted earlier .... Confused  ... overanxious I guess ... or is it senility on my part ?

Single Malt is for real men that play rugby (union/league), not poofters neading more padding than a teddy bear. As for soccer they at least play for forty minutes without substituting half the team and resting every few seconds.

Sorry!  But some reality is required.

Happy birthday to WSE and have a good day all, they have forcast snow for us over the next weekend.

Police boxes are grounded.

Good afternoon everyone.  Pat, People Eating Tasty Animals, has a ring to it.  Roy, you had me there, I had a bit of apprehension about opening that video.  Thought it was going to be the Village People singing "In the Navy"Shock

Been a long working day between scouting filming locations and doing my paid job at the hospital.  Was nice though.  87 degrees, so AC in the car.  Was able to secure some of the big items required for the movie also.

Waiting for bride to come home after kid's Violin practice.  I am ready for bed, but still have a bit to do.
