For the BDay kudo. Are you by chance a Tribe fan? We Indians fans got to band together to get them to win the series this year if the Red Sox can do ti then so can the Tribe. Go Tribe spring training is only 7weeks away.

Hello Laz 57! I like the Indians but I don't get too excited about the way they lose games. The Indians had a Better team in the mid-late 90s and winning more Games. This is why I like Toy Trains better![:D] Plus, with toy trains you don't have to worry about who wins or loses...........Keith.

Man am I tired and I have Town Board meeting. Frankie and I worked all day. He did all the lifting and pulling but I helped as I could. He hooked up the disk to the tractor and I disked the garden after he got the tomato baskets up. Then he climbed and cleaned all the roofs [house, garage, lawnmower shed, workshop and big shelter. Then he cleaned all the gutters out for all buildings. Then he blew the leaves from the shrubs and bushes around front. Tomorrow, I will ride the John Deere over them and suck them up and dump them in the garden. OH, we went to neighbor's [who is moving] and got a small trailer and platform scales [like you weigh fertilizer on]. He does not want to take them to FL. Don't turn down a free gift or two. Chat later.

I'm here! Looks like you're v. busy, Chief. Just finished taking down the tree tonight. Now watching or rather listening to something on Wilson and World War I on PBS while checking in here. Kelly is out at a homeschool moms meeting - hope she comes home soon as it's getting nasty out - icy roads. I just finished Tony Koester's book on realistic operation - not a bad compilation though -ay carumba - it looks like a lot of work... Since I'm beginning a new class tomorow and will have to take the late night 'slow' train home, I'm bringing along Sam Posey's new book on our hobby. Dang, I hate it when all the Christmas lights are gone...especially with all this murky dark

Actually had to do some work today. My buddy who is a general contractor is having problems getting workers to show up. So this salesman is (gasp) construction worker. Today, we installed a fan that broke in a ceiling, fixed a couple of holes in the wall, and installed a new toilet (yuck). I am not used to this work. I am tired so I will probably crash early. Take care all, especially the Chief.

The skiing in Ohio is great! The mud just lets you slide down the hill. I suppose in Idaho you use snow. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

In Holland it's again clowdy and around the 60's. No big change.. A friend of mine bought another sd28 yesterday.. The population of sd28's has increased by 200% the last month in Holland..
That's what I call growth. I saw Jim Duda icefishing in the sunday photo fun.. [8D]
I even saw him with his neighbour girls, but he's dressed funny...

LOL – Daan - I don’t think I can top that with a pick of the day.

JimBo- as Daan stated, you started it.

NE Ohio is cool at 38 deg with light rain turning to snow on Wed. It maybe a repeat of Christmas weekend. Look out Buckeye.

Sunday Photo Fun has been fun this week and it’s still going. It has had over 548 views. I think that’s a record.

Here is my not so funny Pick of the Day

Spankybird, when you start up photo fun this week, I would like to suggest you post the instructions for posting photos as the first item because there are many new people on the forum that might not know the procedure. If you have it in Word, I can store it so that anyone at anytime could download the instructions.

daan--good job of catching Jim and his friends, this is a wonderful way to start the day.

We are about to be blasted with bad weather; 10-15" of snow just north of us; 6-10" for us; 1" of solid ice just south of us followed by 4-6" of snow. I sure hope the forecasters are wrong on this one, just think--it was 63 here last Thurs.

Need to get the plow mounted on the quad and then run some errands. Brown should bring one of my new Vista Dome cars today, hope he does or he won't get up the driveway until Friday. The driver is a long time friend and he just loves to come in and see the trains run.

Have a Great Day.

TIP FOR THE DUDES THAT CAN'T GET DATES: Dress in drag and be prettier than the prettiest girl at the party - like I do (see Daan's image above).

Great one DAAN, maybe I will have to come to Holland and check out those snow bunnies but some of them have that facial hair, so it could be an import from TEXASS.
Nice butt????
SPANKYBIRD that was a great Sunday Photo fun day I'm ready for next Sunday already.
Can't Wait.
Suppose to get ICE here tomorrow into Thursday. Maybe a 2 hr. delay. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

We're supposed to get an inch or so of slush and snow tonight - great - it should arrive just in time for me to get off the Metra train at 11 pm and try to dig the car out of a plowed-in lot. - Jim seems to be always prettier than anyone at his gatherings - especially in that outfit - though his neighborhood girls do not look too alarmed. Tom, your engines are the best smokers I've ever seen...

Anyone here read Sam Posey's book on model railroading? I've just begun it - it's an interesting read...

Jim has finally come out of the "closet". [;)] See tha is why the neighbor ladies hang around him so much. No danger in old Jim. [;)] Hate to burst all you YANKS bubble. Sunny and into the 70's again today. Walking around in short sleeves. Going to crank the JD and suck up the leaves today. Sure wish I was fishing [and there is NO ice]. Hello All! The reason the neighbor ladies like Jim is maybe because they resemble Phyliss Dyler and he cannot get away from them at all[:D][(-D] As a result Jim has to Jump into his Corvair and get away from the ladies while they chase him down the street. This is where smoke from the Corvair comes into use.Poor Jim has to use it as a Shield between him and the Ladies.[:)] Have a good day everyone!.........Keith.

ABSOLUTELY!!!

But, give us a warning so we can strap our selves in our computer chairs, buckle on our helmets, take a deep breath, close one eye...And then peek at the "Pretty Little Chiefie"...

Here's another challenge - put me and Chiefie in Drag, standing next to each other and we can all vote which one we would choose to take to the dance Saturday night...(wink)

Ticks are out too and they hitch a ride on BB the beagle, who says Hi. Out rabbit chasing with the hound all New Year's weekend and she's begging for more.

Got more done w/train layout

Nice photos, Daan. The girl on the left looks like the Russian girl I'm thinking about ordering from the mail-order bride website.

Chief,

Here's a link to one of the most beautfiul lakes in the midwest, Okoboji. There are 5 lakes in the area and 3 of them are very large with great Walleye fishing. This is just a small pic in a bay but you can already see the ice shacks in the back, by the end of the month it will be crowded.

Jon

Ice fishing can be fun if you have the correct libations.
