AW, did we get a visit from Robert Dovall? The First Air Cav on the river bank in Country and surfing the waves as Charlie holds the area across the river. "Apocalypse Now" [:D]

Just did three laps around the subdivision up the street. Been doing two laps and coming home. Added one today. Getting tuff guys. Would start running but the bouncing hurts that chest. Use to run two miles per day. Knees started giving me toruble and Dr. said stop. Then that caused the arteries to start plugging up. Can't win for loosing. [;)]

Did find one on this site for $40, http://www.ericofon.com/sale/classic2/500.htm

HI Bogaziddy,

As you can tell we love steam engines, but the wife only lets me use JT Megasmoke with the Christmas Pine sent or the Bayberry sent.

We are glad you enjoyed the pics

Well, didn't make it to the flea market, but I can save that for another day.

Jerry,
Thanks[:)].

As much as I would love to buy one off the site, buying a refurbished one takes all the fun out of it. Western Electric phones never die, and if they do, half the fun is trying to make them work again. The other half is cleaning them up and making them look like new again(at least the way I look at it).

Hey Chief, Found and fixed the short - it was a bad piece of track as you noted - I saw that locomotive float in the Rose parade on TV - what a monster and made all of flowers too - I have to try this megasteam - at least our Lionel smoke fluid covers the stink of the guinea pigs cage...I'm tired of watching football - though there were some great games - Iowa and Texas winning at the last second. Raining here - and cold again. Hope it doesn't turn to ice. I made supper and am waiting on my sick wife. Making the kids go to bed early too - they stayed up too late last eve. Have a great evening yourselves!

Doug, hope and pray wife gets better. Do not know if it hit 70 today or not [what was predicted]. Walked in shirt sleves. You are becoming an expert on AC and O guage. Glad you have the little kids and not me. Not patient enough anymore. I know, Duda will say I'm old and crabby. [;)] God bless.

Been another slow day here today. Very warm.

Doug - hope your wife gets well soon. Being sick is a lousy way to spend a holiday weekend.

Cool that Texas beat Michigan - a first for a Texas team against the big boys - and the Rose bowl to boot. The day for us was diminished by the Texas A&M performance in the Cotton Bowl - ugh!

Happy 2005 all - hope you are haivng a good start!

Buckeye -
You left off the request to provide a picture of the boat and motor.

Chief -
Get yourself a pooch if you don't already have one and take him for long walks. Easier on the knee (I've got a bum one too) and someone will love you for it while you're doing yourself a big favor. Take care of yourself this year and for many years to come.

Hey Chief, take care of that knee.
Three options for it.

Cut it off. Toughest option. Hard to walk after words, but easy to spin in circles.

Put in a titanium knee. Have a few friends that did, if you have insurance it works great.

Take some Glucosemine. Works for me and I have had bad knees since I was 17.

Actually one last idea. Play with trains all day long. Not the least expensive way, but definately the best choice....!!

Happy New Year

Good Morning All,

NE Ohio is warm, at 50 deg with rain showers. Spring is great after having a white Christmas.

According to Buckeye’s list, I should be shaving my legs. LOL she has me well trained, where did I go wrong.

Laz – a day late, but [bday] [bday] [bday], Chief can’t remember that far back when he was only 48, come to think of it, neither can I. [(-D] [(-D] [(-D]

All – Add some pics to the Sunday Photo Fun, even if its only one.

All be safe

tom

Morning Folks,
Still warm here, I guess, and rainy.

Headed off to Church in a little while. The parking lot finally thawed[:)].

After church, it's catch up on the homework that's due tomorrow. In my classic traditions, I've put most of it off until the last minute, so I'll really have a good time doing the rest of it this afternoon.

Hope that you all have a good day!
By the way, this is my 500th post!

Morning gang. Over slept. Missed early Church and Sunday School. Not a good way to start off the new year. OH Well!! Sleep was good for the old man. Hope Doug's wife is better this AM [for Doug's sake too [;)]]. bogaziddy, got two dogs. One is too old [Peek] and I would end up carrying him. The other is a lab and he would drag me down the street [not trained to walk with me]. Knee really does OK unless I run [at least so for]. Can't run due the chest can not stand the vibration. Don't think Dr. will take running trains as a walking substitute. [;)] Ben, you got "Gone With The Wind" read??? Watched "Cold Mountain" on TV [cable] last night [got it on DVD too]. Watch it about once a month. Need to be fishing today. Sunny and into the 70's. Wow, last winter, NC had an unusual cold and snowy winter. All have a great day and God bless all.

Tom,
Thanks

Chief,
No, and I've got enough other stuff to do that it looks like it's sparknotes time. This teacher generally uses those and/or Cliff notes to make his tests, and I'm hoping that that's the case with this one. I'm not really sure when the test is, so maybe I'll have time to actually finish it.

I need to do something about procrastinating, but I've never gotten around to it[:)].
