Welcome back Dr. John.

Dennis, John,

Thanks. I have a lot more Israel photos to post, Jerusalem this time. I have photos of Tiberius and other areas where missiles fell recently. Makes me wonder if these are the latter times.

More or less. Most of the long trips are over for now. I've got a few in-state conferences to lead. I'll probably be posting more frequently as we get into the fall.

This software is like the other one.  Just ate a post. Disapprove [V]

BTW: Remember the thing I posted about Mystic Storm and the Lewis family scamming folks on Ebay and toy trains???  Well, just got a nice email from a young lady trying to find them.  Seems he has scammed them [her and her boy friend] on Disney items.  She is trying to locate them.  Passed her all the info I had from the past post.  Ebay should shut those folks down.  That is why I have NO use for Ebay.  Think they are PA folks.  Maybe we should send Tony S over and take them out.Wink [;)]  Hope they get help and have good luck.  Anyone with knowledge on them, pass it on and I will pass it to them.

Come on Chief,  It has been months since Dr. John has posted and now you have probably scared him away for a few more months with that picture of your new neighbors.

John, I didn't know they had indoor plumbing in the South.  Must have imported those horseshoes from Ohio.  Oh, and BB is not going to like that last picture.

Morning all,

Glad to see the love being passed around here.  Chief, just be careful when visiting such a crowd, they could pass along something really BADDead [xx(]  The yankee horde is just waiting to have another war of northern agression.  I think we can take 'em this time though.  Anyway, have  agood day and a good week everyone, We are heading to parts unknown but will visit every train store we find along the way.

Good Morning from Blueberryhill............

It's 70 degrees already and going up to 92 today. Maybe some storms later in the day. Hot summer day.

Had fun last night on the " Coffee Pot ".  I hope the Southern boys weren't offended with their pictures posted.  Chief should wake up wife and let her trim awhile. Early morning chores.

Going grocery shopping today. Not regular day. Have some thing to do tomorrow. Will have to cut grass later in the week. Always busy. Evenings are nice, sitting in the shade.

Wonder what happened to the Weather Channel in Atlanta ?? Been out since yesterday. Love that program.

Y'all have a great day.

HI GIZ,

Hot as H@#$ this morning,  ran my 5+ miles and worked out got a good lather of sweat going.  Going to hit 100 today?

Yesterday got some clear acrlic plastic and ripped it at 6 inches to put around the curves of the layout to prevent the trains from going of the table top incase of a derailment.  Looks good at least you can see through it and it doesn't take away from the layout.  Going to run trains and hook up some lights today.

All have a good one?

Stay COOL?

Good morning from a cool and sunny Chicago. Got a real 'gullywasher' of a storm pass through overnight - I watched it come in from the west like something out of War of the Worlds. Of course I had just spent the evening watering the lawn and trying to dig holes in our rock-solid dirt to put in a few of  these solar-powered lamps the bride picked up. Talk about cheap: just a tiny LED - a solar chip - and clear plastic. Hope this after-rain coolness lasts a bit so I can enjoy it tomorrow - this being my long day.  I've been running slow on the layout, heat-restrictions don't you know.

Salutations to Dr. John!

Still off today - have to take my son to the orthodontist.  Have to get some new food for Chewy.  We ran out of dry 2 days ago and the steady diet of soft food isn't good for her AT ALL!  At least she kept her chewyrhea in the box.

If memory serves, today is the release date for my preordered Lionel docksider and caboose, transylvania livery!

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

During my trip to Israel earlier this year I photographed some areas that are in the news today. Since I visited most of the country, I can now relate news events and also things I read in the Bible. Very worthwhile visit.

First 2 photos show Tiberius from the Sea of Galilee. Tiberius this week was struck by Iranian missiles launched from Lebanon

Here’s the area the missiles were launched from. In the distance is snow-capped Mt. Hermon, which is Syria. To the left are mountains in south Lebanon from which Hezbollah launched their cowardly missile attacks.

Hot and humid again here in central PA.  90 degrees at noon, haven't checked since but predicted to go to 96.

Youngest grandson and I have been working in the air conditioned wood shop trying to finish up some projects for my church's food stand at the local fair in August.  Making menu boards and a large box to store the tent between uses.  Grandson is doing most of the work, I mostly supervise.Wink [;)]

Laz, When do we see some pics?

Doug, I have six of those solar site lights around my fish pond.  The are amazingly bright for one LED.  They stay lit most of the night if they have a clear day to fully charge the battery.

Afternoon.  Drying out.  All the shrubs are trimmed.  Got a couple of trees to trim tomorrow AM.  Got to get the clippings up and shred them.  Wife pooped out on me and she is 12 years younger.  I finished up while she slept.  I was trimming and she was getting up the trimmings.  Some got piled for hauling but that was it.  Now she says it is too hot.  Only 96 and going to 100.  Heat index is only 105. Question [?]Confused [%-)]  Well, I'll shower and get dressed to go to Lowes.  Then nephew has birthday party at O'Charley's [at least it is not O'Hare's Wink [;)]].  Need to get to work on my track plan and transfer it to RR Tracks.  Dryer has new belt [broke the other day].  Later

It's definitely summer. I'm enjoying the relatively "cool" 96 degrees in Prattville after experiencing 116 degrees in Phoenix, AZ last week. That was a tad too warm for me.

Sure will be glad when fall gets here (about mid-November in central Alabama!)
