Laz, does Arrista make some "long haired friends of Jesus" for your microbus?
Prayers for all those who are ailing including wives and kids, moms and dads, etc.... Sounds like Carter almost got a bump of knowledge!?

Afternoon All,
Lad had a pal over for sleep over this weekend. Took the boys out to activity world this afternoon (AKA hell.)
Took some pics of the gamesroom and posted in photo fun.
Jim, We are going to put in a big sofa so we can watch movies in comfort. The boys were out there last night playing air hockey and pool while FIL and I sat in lawn chairs and watched the France V England Rugby match. Looked fantastic on the big screen and we won the game.
Have a good one

LOL! I love it! Maybe I can deliver the hard drives with the Electromagnetic Crane!
Saw Jumper last night...I recommend not to.

Afternoon all
Just started a fresh pot of Joe to warm up some. Been in the garage cleaning up and putting stuff away all afternoon. Still have scraps of wood left over from the garage addition and slowly throwing them out.
We had a visiting Priest presiding at Mass today, and I helped at both early and late Mass. He had a "radio voice", sounded like a sports caster. It brought a "different" flair to the services.
The Trainarama came in the mail Friday. It is really neat. I plan on taking some pictures but the camera, or the cameraman is having some problems transfering the pics to the computer. Going to go and run some trains.
May God bless
Jim
Afternoon All.
Looks as though the rain is starting to wind down, . Really wasn't much down this way, just a nice steady light rain since last nite. Think most of it went north of us, up Don's way.
We were Grammy's & Gramp's daycare all this past week, grandson came down with the crud that everybody seems to be catching. Guess who started showing the start of it friday, Grammy & Gramps.
Looking for some ideas for some hopper/ore car loads. It is a little ways off but now is a good time to plan & prep, I'm planning on putting together a summer cookout train. Any ideas as to what could be used in an ore car to simulate relish and chopped onions. I have a couple of the old K-Line Train 19 tank cars lined-up for repaint/lettering for catsup, mayo and two types of mustard. They have two domes on each and the caps will be bored out to install a couple of hand lotion plunger/pumps. Will be using dog toy hamburgers and hot dogs in gondolas. Hmmm, maybe I should also see if there is something to simulate potatoe & macaroni salad.

Laz....Due to the big crash, will you be suspended without pay for six weeks?
fife...Good idea, a crash board for a layout. "This Railroad has been ran for XXX number of days without killing or maiming any plastic employees."
Good nap this afternoon. Trying to avoid a cold.
Worked on bridge piers and abutments. All of the bridge bearings are made and installed.

Good evening all,
It was an interesting day weather-wise in SE Indiana with temps above freezing, but it still snowed. Go figure. I did go to church and I had sausages and pancakes for breakfast. More work today on scholarships for Lucas. I do not think this will ever end. More trouble with MTH Tinplate accessories. I have had two die now, one was my fault and I can not determine on the other one. At least the IRL and Champcar are back together. Now since Lionel and MTH have made peace (I think), perhaps larger issues can be settled as well. Doug, I liked your "factoids" about Cleaveland. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Regards, Roy

Doug....You need to start teaching Ohio history. Did you know that Roy Rogers and Buckeye Jim are both from Portsmouth. Most likely they are cousins.

Actually my bride is a distant cousin or something like that. "Roy" AKA Lenard Sly, grew up on Duck Run.
One of my friends made a video of his Legacy Chessie diesel on his outdoor track - great sound!

Doug (dagrump) - How about aquarium stones for relish. Still thinking on potato salad and onions
Doug (murphy) - I guess that means that the majority of the Ohioians here are probably illegal immigrants then. Anyway all those that were born prior to 1953. Is that going to mandate a fence be built by the PA guys???
Was going to watch the race today, supposedly broadcast as 12:30 pst, here it is 8:15 and they have all of 85 laps run ??? And currently waiting on a wet track. I really have to thank that customer of mine who didn't come through with the tickets. It would have been miserable there!!! The conssionaires must have hauled in a bundle !!!
Got 20 switch switches (controllers) mounted on my control panel. Will start wiring them this week. Only had to correct 2 switches due to wiring errors. Its cool being able to redirect a train. Now I got to get the switch controllers wired so I have a indication of the switch position.
Hope everyone has a good evening, and a great day tomorrow.
Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is a cold 28 degrees. Going up to 38, today, with cloudy skies.
Busy day. I have a lot of errands to run and stops to make. Snow is still on the ground, but roads are good. No time for trains. Watched that mess, that they called a Nascar race last night. They should have just cancelled it. Jeff Gordon did good.
Dining car has arrived and it's time for breakfast. Later.
Y'all have a great Monday.
Chuck

Good morning all,
The weather (and roads) were clear in SE Indiana this morning, but that will change shortly. I ran the 10E last night on the back porch layout. It was very relaxing. My wife watched the Oscars last night. I tried to watch a little of the NASCAR race, but rain kept delaying items so I gave up on it. I see where it will be held today. I had a cinnamon roll this morning with the cereal for a change of pace on the dining car from "Points East". I hope everyone has a good day.
Mornin' boys. Mornin' English. Cloudy and 37 here in the Mid-Atlantic region. Had some good friends over for dinner last night, then ran trains for them with NO PILE-UPS (for a change). Each received an autograph copy of Jan '08 CTT, and a couple took the throttle and threw some switches. One of the wives had spent a good deal of time in Cumberland some years back, and was floored with the Narrows and city hillside.
dbaker - all that rain your getting now is supposed to be snow for us in the east later this week...
A Good Monday Morning to all,
I'm going out soon to do my running today as that nasty stuff is expected by tonite.
I still have some books and catalogs to go through, kind of thinning the herd as its time for someone else to enjoy them. No breakfast yet I guess I should eat before going to a grocery store,I'll let you know how it goes,,,,,,,,,,S.J.
