Here is to all the friends on the CTT forum.  May you all have a safe, healthy and wealthy 2008.  May trains rain on your layout in abundance.  In a few months, it will be four years of friendship.  God bless you all.   [hope CTT's clock is working with Time Square]

Happy New Year on the '08 coffee pot!  I really like Dave F's thread idea about the 15 minutes a day on the layout.  Told my bride and she suggested that it wasn't long enough, so I may get away with even more time on the layout.  Chief, I too have made many good friends from this place.  I hope it remains as such.  Thanks to you and to Bob Keller and the guys at CTT for giving us this little pot of paradise.

God Bless,

Dennis

Good morning all,

It is raining in SE Indiana with temps in the 30s.  (Did any of you think I would start off with anything but a weather report, show of hands here???)  Seriously, thank you, Chief, for three plus years of forum frivolty, and thank you to all the members of the 'pot.  There are good people from all points of the compass and from across the pond.  I wish you all a Happy New Year.  We had a nice evening with our friends and the parents of the girlfriend of the Lucas.  No trains were run, but still a good time was had by all.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Good Morning & HAPPY NEW YEAR from Blueberryhill....

It is windy and cold. 22 degrees. Going up to 34 today, with a little snow.

I couldn't stay up last night. Fell asleep in the chair and off to bed at 3 am. Glad to see the new Coffee Pot up and running.

Today, we are taking it easy. Nice supper planned. Running trains this afternoon.

Dining car is here early and it's time to board for breakfast. Then, it will head out for " points west " , full of good things.

Y'all have a great New Year's Day.

Chuck

Happy New Year from New England!

We had a great party last night. Plenty of tasty Chinese food, lots of laughs with family and friends, and even some champagne. The kids ran trains for our guests, who greatly enjoyed them. The house was filled with the love and warmth that only people close to your heart can supply.

Hope everyone's 2008 is happy, healthy, and prosperous!

Morning all.  Sunny and bright at the coast of NC.  First New Year's eve I've spent away from the home town since I was in the US Army.  Long time ago.  Grandson was a rascal.  He can be so funny.  Headed home in a few.  Make Pam drive since she slept through New Years and I was up putting on a new pot of coffee.

Happy New Year from a gray and cold Gettysburg. The Mrs. and I managed to stay vertical until  midnight.  My cold is getting somewhat better, but I still woke up in a coughing fit this AM at 5:00.  May need to take a  Zzz [zzz] later.  Pork and Sauerkraut are ready to go into the crockpot to be served with some mashed potatoes and possibly green beans.  Traditional Central Pennsylvania New Year's Day dinner.  LAZ and John F, there'll plenty if you want to stop by later Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Here's for a Happy New Year to all.  This is a great bunch of folks. Thanks to CTT and the gang that make this place so special.

Have a great day.
