Good Afternoon!

Not much going on here in Omaha this afternoon. We've been in a really nice stretch of weather and it looks like that should continue. There are some rain chances, but I think there'll be enough dry hours in-between the rain to keep things pretty nice.

The pizza for lunch was delicious, CW! It was kind of nice having pizza on a weekday and not just on Saturday evenings. Thumbs Up [tup]

As for Gatorade: I think the stuff is disgusting. I've just never liked it! Sometimes my dad drinks it, which I really can't figure out. I don't typically associate Gatorade with people in their early 60s! Big Smile [:D]

You can never have too much pizza.  It's a staple for feeding the volunteers (and staff) at the PBS merchandise auction. Get to sample different shop's versions, too.

Didn't leave the studio until about 12:15 this morning - made for a short night's sleep.  First shift of volunteers was - a law firm.  They did well.   Second shift was the local Barbershop Chorus, so we got a serenade!

Class tonight, then maybe a little more sleep than last night!

Good morning, everyone!  Yes, I think I'm finally awake this morning.  Had another bad night sleeping (or rather, bad night of not sleeping.  Woke up at 12:30 this morning, and couldn't go back to sleep until 5:30 this morning.  Slept until 6:30, then went back to sleep about 7:45, and slept until 9:45.    So Mookie, say "Hello" to "Mrs. tailzadraggin #2.

For lunch, I've made the following pizzas, especially for Mookie:  Canadian bacon, Hawaiian, pepperoni/mushroom/sausage and supreme.  I only fixed two of each kind, but as per Saturday Pizza Fest routine, they are extra large, so that should be enough for our lunch crowd.

Everyone have a good afternoon, and let me know if anyone has a special request for supper tonight, please.

Good evening, all.  Guess it's about supper time, so here's the menu for tonight:

Fried chicken, fried pork chops, mashed taters w/gravy, green peas, creamstyle corn, baked potatoes, cole slaw, tossed salad, and homemade buttermilk biscuits.

For dessert tonight, we've got some chocolate covered strawberries and Baby Bel cheese, and strawberry cheesecake.

Joe and Lance, there are containers in the fridge, for you two for work tonight.

Yes, I'm back from Produce and from the grocery.  We had two produce trucks today:  one with the regular produce, and another one that delivered cases of orange juice and the Babybel all natural mini cheese.  We also got new red potatoes, lettuce, cantaloupe and strawberries.

On the food bar, you will find:  tuna salad sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches, turkey sandwiches and bologna & cheese sandwiches.  And there's plenty of potato chips on the counter, to go with the sandwiches

Jumbo chocolate covered strawberries and individual mini cheese for everyone who wants them, for dessert.

Now, I'm off to the couch or the recliner (whichever is unoccupied) for a NAP!!!!!

Anybody seen Ms Mook today? I was just wondering if she would like a fresh cup of Hot coffee, instead of the Now Cold coffe that's in her cup that was fixed earlier.

CW will be in after a bit for the lunch menu; after produce, she had to do a "Store" trip to make sure the Diner had/has everything needed. (Plus a few more things)

(I think she has a surprise planned for all, especially "cheese lovers") Wink [;)]

Good morning!

I think I'll do fine with driving. And of course I'll be as safe and responsible as I possibly can be.

Nice weather today through the end of the week with highs in the 70s each day.

Off to school. TTFN.

Good Tuesday morning, everyone.  Looks like another beautiful day today.  Now, let's hope I can stay awake, after getting only 5 hours sleep.  Feel like I could conk out right now.

Coffee is ready, fresh juice is made (oj, oj/tangerine, grape), and have hot tea for anyone who wants it this morning.

On the breakfast bar you will find:  turkey bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, fresh cantaloupe, watermelon, mushmelons and grapefruit, French toast, blueberry muffins, bear claws.

Everyone have a good morning, and I'll see everybody after Produce Tuesday is over.

Man, is this going to be a loonnnnng night:  very sleepy, but can't go to sleep.  And tomorrow is Produce Day.

Willy, I'm totally remise in not saying earlier, that I also wish you Good Luck on getting your learner's permit.  I am very confident that you will pass it, and be a very good, safe driver.
