Hey, Chubby (remember what I said before...)!

Your little experience with whatever-it-was sounds like something to get checked out.  Maybe no cause for concern, but just something about yourself that you should know about, and which will be over in a couple of months.

Ed's the current voice of experience here--half of a great team raising daughters anyone would be proud of.

Ours are in the past--both daughters married to ideal sons-in-law, and one with a couple of daughters of her own.  Fun to watch that daughter raising a couple of kids as bright as she is.

(The other one just reminded us that she'll be getting a doctorate in about two years.)

No beer for me. Still a little young for that type of drink.

What's happening outside is the closest thing to a blizzard that I have ever experienced. The wind is gusting to 50 mph and visibility is literally just shy of zero. The snowfall is not going to last long, so no more than 1 inch is expected, but it's blowing and drifting so much that it would be impossible to measure anyway. This is just too cool!

They had paper tags pasted on rear doors . Each 28 ft. tlr. tag said ( untitled , in transit ) . The power was a rental trk.  I wonderd if you knew any thing bout them .  Hope your Super stock Dodge Ram is up and runnin' from the wreck.    Respectfully , Cannonball

A good Saturday morning to everyone out there. I reckon a lot of us are sleeping in this morning. Joe, thanks for making coffee and orange juice, and the doughnuts are much appreciated by all of us here. Thank you! I am frying some bacon and pork sausage links, and will be ready to serve blue berry pancakes, waffles and scrambled eggs and omlets pretty soon. And I've got some good maple syrup from Canada that I am warming up.

I woke up to a little bit of fresh snow here in Sioux Falls about an hour ago, hard to tell just how much we got as the wind blows so much of it around. We have 19 degrees above 0, and with the wind blowing out of the NW, we have a wind chill of about 4 above. I'll be headed in to work one of my part time jobs in a couple hours, and if my supervisor at Wendy's should call to ask me to come in and work for her today, well she's out of luck. I will be able to work for her tomorrow, and that I have no problem with. I am working with a great crew of people at Wendy's, and I consider that to be a bonus.

I hope everyone out there has a good day. Stay warm, stay safe!

Good Saturday morning, to all.  Well, I'm finally in, and I want to thank Joe for making the coffee, juice, and bringing in the doughnuts.  Also, thank you Ray for fixing the rest of the breakfast this morning.

We were supposed to have snow coming into Louisville, from the West, about 5 this morning.  It' now 9:27, and all I can see from my windows is a dusting on the sidewalks.  We are getting a light snow shower right now.  Supposed to end up with only one to two inches.

Guess Joe and Matt are pretty close to Chicago by now.

Everyone have a great day, and be sure to have your pizza orders in by 3 p.m.

That same system came through here overnight, we got about an inch and a half.  Easy shoveling.  It's turning into a pretty nice day now- 21.2 degrees and climbing with bright sunshine.

I wish I could run over to Eola and join the party, but it's just alittle too far away and gas is too expensive.  We're going to have to buy an extra tank's worth tomorrow as it is to pay a visit to our daughter in Des Moines.

Everyone have a great day, and be sure to have your pizza orders in by 3 p.m.

The usual, please (supreme)!

Make mine Hawaiian.

A dusting of snow this AM when the lake effect drifted north for a bit.  Had to run into town for some dog food, roads there were horrible - very 'greasy.'  On the road to VA tomorrow - hope PA gets their act together - a detour would be a bad thing.

Back to trip preps....

Good morning, everyone!  It's another beautiful day.  The sun is shining brightly, and the high for today should reach the mid to upper 70s.

I might as well go for the Hawaiian pizza tonight, since the weather is so balmy.

....34.3...!  Don't know how to act as that's above freezing.  About 2" of snow overnight and early part of today.  Pretty bright now so looks like it's about finished here....

Going ahead and posting our SATURDAY NIGHT PIZZA FEST menu early.  Sarah and I are getting ready to go grocery shopping, and with Saturday traffic, I figured we wouldn't be back in time.  So, here's the menu for tonight:

1.  Cheese
2.  Chicago Style
3.  Hawaiian
4.  Supreme
5.  Anchovie

For dessert tonight, I'll bring back some big, hungry-man size cinnamon rolls from Whole Foods.  They have about THE BEST cinnamon rolls I've ever eaten!

Well, just got an excited call from my daughter.  She and her husband were given tickets to today's Syracuse/UConn game at the Dome.  Much to their surprise, they found themselves "on the floor," four rows back from the court...  Game's on ABC - VCR primed and ready to record.

I'm not sure where on the court, I'll be looking for them, too...

Wjaaaatttt? No pepperoni lovers pizza? Guess I'll have to go into the kitchen and make one myself. Gosh it's been a long time since I had a pepsi, so i think I will treat myself tonight

I went to a baby shower today and it was fun, I guess I can see what I can expect when one gets thrown for me. Just one dilema, I don't want to pressure the guys to come, but at the same time I don't mind if they were there. But I heard of some stupid tradition that only women were allowed to a shower, and the guys get chased off....I dunno cause I would like to have my husband there for input...but then again that's just me, and I hate old fashioned traditions, I think they are kinda stupid.

Nightrain, the Pepperoni Lover's Pizza is on the"regular menu",along with a couple

others not mentioned; such as Goetta & Canadian Bacon, (with others) some times

they don't get put on the "Special Menu."

(anchovies aren't even on the regular menu, I think someone "Bribed" the Cook to have it done  so

many times!!!!Evil [}:)] )

I've been to a few of those "Baby Showers" over the years, and in my honest opinion,

they are not at ALL conducive to the males that might be in attendence!!

Nightrain, glad to hear you enjoyed your baby shower.  I'm with you:  whether it's a baby shower, bridal/wedding shower, I think both man and woman should be in attendance, if they both want to.  Some men actually enjoy the showers, and have even done extremely well in the games that are played at them.

Mutt was right:  all the  other pizzas he listed are on the regular menu.  Sometimes, I just forget to include them on the Saturday Night Pizza menu.

Well,  Sarah and I just got home about 45 min. to an hour ago.  Looks like the east end of town got all the snow.  When we came out of the mall, it was coming down in BIG flakes.  The closer we got to our end of town, the smaller the flakes got.  But people were driving sensibly (for a change, around here), and we didn't see any fender benders along the way.

Hope everyone's had a great day, and enjoy the rest of your evening.

Netscape browsers around the world have taken a bellyflop the past few days, including mine.  It has made web-browsing a real pain in the rear.  And that includes participating in this forum.  I have had to move to Firefox, but I am so doggone used to all of the customizations and settings that I had with Netscape.

The good part about today was sunbathing this afternoon.  Whew!  If it gets any hotter, I'm not sure what to do - the air conditioner was running at full blast!!!   Wink [;)]

It's supposed to hit the 60's in VA this week, and that's were I'm gonna be.  Hopefully I'll be able to get on-line while I'm there.  If not, I'll be back in on Friday.

Later!

A good Sunday morning to everyone out there. I've got some fresh coffee brewing and the orange juice is ready for pouring, and for anyone who wants hot chocolate, there's a steaming hot pot of it on the counter here. I've baked two pans of cinnamon rolls and you'd best grab one while they are still warm - also, there is plenty of spreadably soft butter here for my cinnamon rolls.Chef [C=:-)]

Breakfast this morning will consist of; bisquits & gravy, sliced ham, scrambled eggs, ham & cheese omlets, buttermilk pancakes, bacon, pork sausage links and bananna nut muffins.

We have 20 degrees here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and it is supposed to warm up to about 26 degrees later this afternoon. That will seem like a heat wave!Smile [:)]

...We have a calm morning here in Muncie.....Calm winds, and a bit over 12 degrees and it doesn't feel too bad out right now.  Just retrieved the Sunday paper out of the mail box and didn't feel too bad.  Maybe I'm getting used to it.

Had a 2" freshening of our snow yesterday as a fast moving system came through here from the high plains.  It's gone and the sun is peaking through a skimmer of clouds right now and looks like the day won't be too bad.

Anyway, we'll be watching {this afternoon}, the sunshine weather down at Daytona Beach for the running of the annual Daytona 500.

But church first.

Good Sunday morning to all!  Ray, thanks for making coffee, juice and hot chocolate this morning.  And the breakfast menu looks good this morning.  Think I'll start with a cinnamon roll, then go on to a couple of biscuits w/gravy on them, with a slice of ham.

I haven't heard what out current outdoor temp or windchill is this morning.  I've only been up about a half hour, so have missed the updates this morning.  But I'm thinking we're supposed to get either to or just above the freezing mark today.

See everyone in a little bit, and I'll be posting the Sunday Dinner menu.

Everyone take care.
