I'll provide  pasta with garlic or tomato sauce for dinner and some nice homemade biscuts.  For sides we will have green beans, mash potatoes, and carrote.  Also some turkey soup.  Ice cream for the dessert department unless anyone wants something else. I can always run to the store or whip something up before dinner.Chef [C=:-)]

I made that for lunch, but I can use the leftovers for dinner if you like. I also brought in a basket of buscuits.

We were overcast with sprinkles today.  I'd say temps in the upper 40's or lower 50's at best.  Chace checked out ok, no problems.  Anyone check on that tuna noodle dish for dinner yet?  It's starting to smell delicious in here.

Was 75 here in Urbana.  The thunderstorms formed just north across the interstate and headed north.  And I was hoping for some good lightning.

Is the coffee still hot?  I'm starting to drag down.  Zzz [zzz]

Good afternoon!

Not as nice today as it was yesterday. The high temperature was 55 degrees today compared to 80 degrees yesterday. It looks like in a week or two we could be looking at our first real thunderstorms/severe weather threat of the year in this part of the country, so I'm looking forward to that.

That's all the news I've got today, so I'm outta here. TTFN.

*goes back in the kitchen to start up the fryers*

Anyone wanna give me a hand fixing lunch, I can now get started on the fries, and onion rings. Sandwiches soup, and salads are here as well. All I need is another hand fixing dogs, brats, burgers, etc.

Good morning everyone!  I brought a big can of corned beef hash.  Is there any grill space?  Chef [C=:-)]

Chace can have some too, since I bet he's hungry.

Ah....I am late, but it was nice.  I slept in until 5:30 this morning and just strolled down the road to the diner.  Driver is off today, so did rush into anything this morning.

Glad Chace is back.  We are always glad when our "family" is intact.

I ate breakfast already, so will wait for lunch.  Maybe I will push a tuna can around a little and see what happens.....(hint - tuna & noodle)

Yawn....

Morning all!  Guess who was beating on the door this morning when I went to let the dogs out?  Chace!  Lord only knows where he is but no bite/scratch marks and he's a bit chilly and muddy.  I'm taking him to the vet later for a look over and bloodwork just to be safe.

Since he came home, and I'm in such a good mood...breakfast is up!  Today we've got OJ, AJ, and TJ, toast, pancakes and waffles, fruit, and home made cinnamon rolls!  It sure smells good so dig in!  If you don't...it'll be on the warmer bar, lol.

Hope you find your cat Dan. It is always stressful when a pet is missing.

For Breakfeast tomorrow I will provide OJ, Milk and lots of assorted cold cereal.  Hopefully some one else can stop in and cook up some warm food for everyone or else its cereal for everyone! I will be sneaking off early to study for school.- I'll try not to wake anyone when I leave.

My old cat, when I was a kid, got caught in a neighbor's shed for a couple days.  He was hu-ungry when he came tearing back home.  We are glad that they decided to mow their lawn before going on vacation.

I'll take a hearty serving of baked beans, please.Big Smile [:D]

I'm spending my evening watching American Idol and jotting down some quick notes. I've started a blog on my website and while its main purpose will be for weather, I think I'll also do American Idol reviews. Nothing serious, just my thoughts from week to week.

Dan - I hope you find your kitty soon! One time we lost Chessie for a day and I was worried sick. It turned out that she was just under the porch, but we never allowed her outside again.
