Good Wednesday morning, all.  We've got temps in the low 40s this morning, and the rain has ended.

Mookie, my chest doesn't ache like it does, if my bronchitis is acting up.  But my throat is really hurting this morning.  Think I'll give the dr. a call after 9, when the office opens up.  Nose isn't dripping or running, but it is open and I'm not all stuffed up this morning.

As Mookie attested, the coffee is on, hot tea and hot chocolate are available this morning, and fresh juice is made.  On the warmer bar, you will find:  turkey bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, fried taters, and tater tots, scrambled eggs.

Everyone have a good day, and I'll see you all later.  Mutt went back to bed, and I think I'm going to join him.

mmrmphmmfff......silly rabbit muffler - will set him by the fire to let him warm up!

It's cold out there!  20+ and windy.

Willy - hope Mom is better.  That bronco-titus is no fun.  I wonder if that is what CW might be getting.  Nose runs are bad this time of year and especially bad this year.

I need a nap...right after I pour coffee - I think I hear Joe coming - table for 2, please.

Today, being the 33rd anniversary of the April 3rd tornado that almost blew Brandenburg,Ky. and Xenia, Oh. off the face of this earth, has a lot of people

remembering what happened then. Louisville was hard hit also and if I remember

correctly, some chairs from Freedom Hall here were found in Xenia.

Don't recall any trains being blown off the tracks, but service was slowed for

a couple of days thereafter while debris was cleaned up.

We had rumbles of thunder, but no lightning in our area; but the east end got a bunch, and probably responsible for a house fire, that they called in extra equipment on.  Blew our recycling bins to the middle of the yard, and downed our 90 gal. garbage bin!  That has only happened once before (with the garbage bin), along with a limb from the pine tree in our front yard.  Sure am glad that we got that oak tree cut down last month, in the back yard!!

I believe we're supposed to get another round, later.  But so far, the weather radio is now quiet!!

I've reloaded the warmer bar with some more Mexican food for tonight.  Everyone enjoy!!

70 degrees and pleasant here today. (Cut my grass for the first time Sunday)...

Rain started here about 7:00ET. The wind has really picked up with lots of lightning. From what I've seen so far, I'll be picking up limbs again. The wind is taking care of our "helicopters" from our water maple trees. But that's a good thing.

LM, They said the most severe is down your way and to the southern part of our great state. Be sure to let everyone know how you all faired down there.

Joe, we might have to borrow those snow shoes. 46 high on Wednesday and then low to mid 20's for lows. At least Easter does look to be dry. I can take the chilly weather.

Everyone have a safe night.

It's raining here right now, won't say it's coming down in "Mookies & Mutts",

but still rather hard. And if the forecast holds correct, we may have to borrow

Joe's Snowshoes by the end of the week.

Ah, "Derby Time around Louisville"

(which is a great place to be from; very far away this time of year!!)

Willy, our NWS Radio has been going "crazy" for about the last hour, seems to

be all around us.

....We've been having beautiful weather here in central Indiana with lots of sunshine bringing out the blossoms, leaves and grass to mow, which I've done already 3 times.

But....by later this week they say we may see some some snow flurries.  Sure that's possible, but at this time of the year I don't let such talk bother me too much as even if it does {flurries}, they will come down and in a short time all will be gone...Ground too warm now for much action out of any snow.....

Last night was very stormy here in Omaha. Winds were around 50 - 55 mph with the gust front as the thunderstorms came through. Also a few penny sized hail stones here at home, but only two tenths of an inch of rain. Dewpoints were quite low, so the lack of rain didn't really surprise me.

Now it is in the upper 30s and lows for the rest of the week are going to be in the 20s with highs only in the mid 40s. This crazy Nebraska weather is going to about drive me out of my mind.

My mom has come down with bronchitis, so please keep her in your prayers.

I can handle some Mexican tonight (or variations thereof, depending on what flavor purist you may be).

They are threatening thunderstorms here tonight.  We'll have to see.  Never know, that stuff that swept across Michigan might power up by tonight.

Well, there wasn't much at Produce today:  potatoes (getting kind of tired of them), asparagus, and yellow apples and yellow squash.  I didn't even get anything today.  Mudchicken, there was probably enough asparagus for your border!!Wink [;)]

For lunch and supper today, I thought we'd "go Mexican" today:  tacos, enchiladas, quasedeas (spelling?), tamales, etc.  Everything's laid out on the warmer bar, so you all help yourselves, o.k?

Think I have come down with a cold, or something.  I'm cold, and feeling achy all over, along with an achy throat.  Think I'll go lie down, and cover up with my blanket.  Maybe I'll feel better later on.

Brian - it tinkled here last nite. Didn't amount to much. I sent it on your way.

Joe - I was behind Ohio State all the way.  I shouldn't have said it out loud - it may have helped!

Sir Chicken - asparagus ready-to-wear?  Laugh [(-D] There's a picture I want to preserve!

Getting ready for the Easter Bunny - have my carrots right here in front of me.  Hope he hurries or there won't be any left.

Off to get coffee.......

Good Tuesday morning to everyone.  Looks like it's going to be a very nice morning and most of the afternoon.  Then, look out:  the storms are a-comin'!!  We are currently at 61 degrees, and will reach a high of around 83, before the storms come in around 5 p.m.

Coffee and hot tea and hot chocolate are ready; fresh juice is made:  orange juice and orange/tangerine, and orange/pineapple.

On the warmer bar, you'll find all the usual breakfast items:  turkey bacon, sausage, sausage gravy w/homemade buttermilk biscuits, oatmeal, toast, hash browns, scrambled eggs, beagels for Mookie, and bear claws for Larry.

Everyone have a very good morning, and I'll see you all after Tuesday Produce is over.  (I sure do hope that truck isn't as late as it was last week.  It didn't show up until after 11.)

Looks like I better grab some grub before I get knocked off the air- we're under a severe thunderstorm watch until 5 AM, and it's already starting to get noisy out there.  Could be an interesting night...

Well, I finally got logged on, so I could post the supper menu:  meat loaf, mashed taters w/gravy, choice of cole slaw or garden tossed salad, green beans, and for dessert:  cherry pie, w/ice cream.  You can put how much or how little ice cream you want on your pie.   (I've already put some aside for Mookie tomorrow), and there's plenty pies to go around for everybody.)

ACTUALLY, WALT GOT ME LOGGED ON, SINCE I WASN'T HAVING ANY LUCK.  All I kept getting was a blank  white screen, where the log on section is supposed to be.

Yes, Joe, we're also glad the Reds won today!  We watched the game, too, on FSN Cincy.  It was a good game.  And Joe, you'll find your containers in the fridge, with your name on them, for work tonight.

Everyone have a great evening, and take care, now!!

CW - yes I did.  I noticed a little garlic in the taters - that was special!  Maybe for supper (save me some) maybe, maybe - a cherry pie with just a tad of ice cream.  I am not one for much ice cream, but it sounds good - on the cherry pie.

Poor dear Mudchicken.....I have heard that a little oil, little veggies, little warmth will do wonders for chicken hide!  Evil [}:)]

I don't know about my having "special dispensation", Mookie.  Can't remember Modelcar's post on the Hoover Dam.   My thought on Dan's post was that he typed it that way.  Who knows, anymore?!?!  I sure as heck don't!!Sigh [sigh]

BTW, Mookie:  did you approve of your lunch selections for today?  I know you always like it when I fix the open face roast beef sandwiches w/ "smashed" taters, for thought I'd take a chance fixing that today.

CW - must have special dispensation.  She can say chicken uppers, but Modelcar couldn't on his posting about Hoover Dam and now Dan may or may not be having it deleted.  Maybe the females on the forum can, but their counterparts can't?
