Maybe when the update model comes out we will be able to accommodate...Sorry.

be ready to get the magic wand out.we are under a winter storm watch for tuesday.back to chores.
Went out about 2 pm to watch trains; 42 degrees and very sunny. Sweatshirts only. Home @ 4 pm with clouds and east wind, mid 30's. Maybe snow tonite and tomorrow.
Did see 1/8th of a Boeing train coming from the south (one body) and quite a few trains. Joe - we watched a young man with a toddler (about 18-20 mos) sitting in a seat on his back, watching trains. They live nearby and he was introducing his son to train watching. A Joe & Matt moment. He talked about the trains to the toddler just like the toddler knew exactly what each engine was and what it was hauling.
But what was most interesting was the toddler took his knit hat off for about 20 min and held it in his hand the whole time and then when Dad said it was time to put it back on, he did so. What kid ever held a hat and didn't drop it in the first min?

Mooks:
The snow started last night about 10PM and has not stopped. 10-12 inches now and double that in the drifts.
Fortunately, the promised blizzard was a no-show. The boys are now sno-snarks. You will get some of this.
Yea, Joe....I see it coming. First outline of it's path puts the worst of it slighty north of us, but we can't depend on that....It has time to move about.
Actually, our water table is back up from the drought last Summer, so if anyone would like to have our share, be free to seek it....
morning
guessers are calling for ice then about 2-4 inches of snow.Just depends where it tracks.Houseguest has arrived. She was excited to come over and get spoiled.Mooks I have taken plenty of pictures with Dad's and kids watching trains. just returning the favor.breakfast is all set.Time for bed.

Not much going on here weather-wise until Wednesday, when it's supposed to rain. Hopefully not too much, as the ground is mostly frozen so it'll run right off, and that often creates problems.
The train show in Syracuse yesterday was fairly quiet - probably partly due to competition with the big race, at least in the afternoon. Still, we made lots of contact with the visitors and may gain a few riders as a result.

Morning...
We have freezing fog here with a bit of sun peeking through the clouds every so often...
Have some things need doing today...again....dang bloodwork for vampire visit and other med appointments as well....sigh....

BOC - I don't know if Boeing has a specific schedule thru here, since I don't get to go watch on a regular basis, but during the summer months it seemed like it would go thru here at least twice in a week. Back then they were doing at least once out and back, but could have possibly been more.
Well, everyone got really excited again over a possible snow storm and in doing so, made it go south of us for the most part. I hope they can stay excited until about mid-May to keep the snow away.
I was watching the weather report and it always amazes me that the weather seems to stop right at county or state borders, ie - the border between KS and NE with only one slop over in SW NE near McCook.
Q - we will take a couple of gallons of the extra water you have. Our last snow melted and managed to leave only a couple of puddles of actual water.
Sigh....
We fell off the screen onto the desk! Ouch!
Peace be with you. 39 and rain in Carolina this morning just after sunrise. We are supposed to have thunder through noon and scattered showers through the afternoon.
Things have been tough healthwise for me and the wife is coming off a nasty virus.
Everyone take care and have a great week.

CYALTR!!!!
Good Tuesday morning all. Raining here in Shepherdsville, Ky this morning. Woke up around 4 something this morning, hearing thunder, lightning & pouring rain. I did manage to go back to sleep, until just before 6 a.m. Brother was getting ready to leave for work: he's back on 7a to 7p shift, last week and this week, at least. SIL gone to work also, and girls at school. This rain we're getting today is to turn to snow sometime between tonight and tomorrow; but temps are staying in the mid to upper 30s, so shouldn't cause too many problems, just a little bit accumulation on grassy areas, and roads remaining on the wet side.
Tom, hope you and Mrs. are beginning to feel better. Saying prayers for you both.
Everybody take care, have a good day, keep safe and talk with you all later.
FYI - I didn't fall - It was the diner - it fell to the 2nd page and I had to bring it back up.
However, I do run into doorways - my elbows don't seem to fit sometimes. Either that or I wobble?
Tom, hope things improve for both of you.
Sir Chicken - we traded in the snow for just plain cold and windy. Nary a flake here so far. And that's not all bad.
Mookie FYI - I didn't fall - It was the diner - it fell to the 2nd page and I had to bring it back up.
I hate it when that happens...
Nice day here so far. I think we're supposed to get a piece of "Rocky" tomorrow and Thursday. Might be wet, might be white...
Will be attending services for a cousin this week. She was actually my mother's first cousin, which makes us first cousins, once removed, I think. I can never keep that straight. She was the grandmother of one part of that young couple I've mentioned before to whom I am related to both by blood and marriage...
Things to go, places to do...
You're correct, Larry--she was your first cousin, once removed. Your kids would be her first cousins, twice removed. You and her kids (if she had any) would be second cousins.
I now have a first cousin three-times removed, which means that my cousin (only two years older than I) is a great-grandmother!

Big Tin Bird got an alcohol bath at both ends.Bird has to be a bit tipsy by now. Getting ready for a major 8 hour squack session tomorrow with 315 wanna-be mudchickens. Lotsa feathers will fly.
well ma nature gave us rain instead of snow.Just north of us everything is delayed 2 hrs.Might have to play row the boat to get to some places in town.Breakfast is ready.Ns had an autorack train waiting to go west.Work is busy so I must go.Time for bed.
Slush.
Woke up about 4 to find minor freezing rain, but it's pretty messy outside. Schools delayed to the south, some closed to the north.
Gotta take a fire truck to the shop for some work.
We have, maybe, an inch of white dandruff on the ground. Then a polar north wind today - should blow it all over the place. Nice day to stay home and find a potato chip sack. Going to try to just sniff the contents, but...
Sir Chicken - sounds like fun in the west! What is a group of chickens called? AREMA.....
.....It appears the worst of the latest weather system is passing north of us. But we will see some results from the "wrap-around" part of it as it passes. Today, it is a thin line between light rain....just visible few snow flakes....and simply, nothing but overcast sky.
It's been setting on 36.7 degrees for most of the morning so far...And again, the news photos show some very nasty weather in certain areas...Seems we've been quite lucky in many weeks past to have some of this nasty stuff veer just north of us.
No snow on the ground here.
Good Morning..
Kind of foggy out here... bit of snow fell last night so everything is all white here...including the trees...
Got a few things to do this morning...more doctor visits...yay....
breakfast cart out and ready...
Anyhow....y'all have a good day!!
had 1/2 inch of slush to take care of.Matt is on time today.he is off tomorrow due to teacher meetings.BOC thanks for breakfast.off to bed.chores and errands later.
@.... sleepy day.....and no sun to snooze in. Drat!

Uncle Pete, UTA and OLI all came to pitch-in and help here. My faith in railroaders being public minded good-people was strongly reinforced today. I hope 315 Utah surveyors got to learn something that will benefit them.
- I survived, but my voice didn't.
MC, how did you like your day by the Back Range of the Rockies? I thought it was a good day, except for the low temperature in the morning.
I am making progress in geting rid of things I will not have room for when I move, and have carried a few things up to my new abode.
Johnny
...I'll settle for calling our snow from the system moving by {to the north}, of us...including yesterday and today...one inch. It was melting as it was snowing, and is still above freezing....
Sir C - chickens usually pretty quiet. I will e-mail you a cof drop.
Johnny - I am trying really hard to downsize - not to move - just to get rid of so much of - everything. It is really hard work, especially when you have things hidden in crannies and your nooks are full.
