Good Friday morning all.  Current temp at 5:53 a.m.:  61 degrees; now it will be slowly falling the rest of the day.  Projected highs for Saturday through next week will only be in the 50s.  Guess Indian Summer is over for usins here in Louisville.

Hello Bob!  Good to see you dropped in earlier.  Yeah, I really enjoyed my vacation.

Coffee, juices and other morning beverages are freshly made and ready to pour, including hot tea and hot chocolate.  On the serving bar this morning:  our Friday morning doughnuts/danish/muffins/bear claws along with bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy.

BC, sorry about the news you received from the doctor yesterday.  Will continue to pray that the cancer will be taken away totally from you.

Everyone have a good morning, take care and see you all this afternoon.

Good Thursday morning all.  Really enjoyed my time with my brother and his family.  And loved being back in the country.

Joe and BC, thank you guys so much for taking care of things in here.  And BC, I hope and pray that everything turns out all right, with whatever the oncologist found on the x-ray.  Joe, thanks for taking care of breakfast this morning.  I've  been trying to type on here for a half hour, with nothing happening on the screen:  gee whiz, I come back and everything decides to go haywire?

Larry, sounds like you all have a nice brush truck.

Mookie, made a fresh chocolate cake for you and everyone last night:  its cool, iced and ready to cut into!!  Everyone have a good morning,  take care and see you all again this afternoon.

BC, I am sorry to hear that something questionable showed up. Certainly, we hope that this will not mean more chemotherapy. At least what you had did have a good effect on you, unlike what has been tried for the sister of a grammar/high school classmate of mine; a cousin of theirs has told me that the doctors have not been able to determine just what to use.

Surprise That sounds scary!! Surprise

We'll have her on our prayer list here..Angel

Good Evenin'

Had a good day inspite of the anxiety over what was found...hopefully it turns out to be an 'artifact' of the process of taking the XRay....Tongue TiedHuh?

80 degrees to snow in 24 hours - Yep, it's that time of year. (-and we have a forest/range fire south of the Royal Gorge/Canon City getting pushed around by 40-60+ MPH windsSigh)

(If the fire truck is the aircraft carrier or battleship, a brush truck is the destroyer/frigate ... they get called skirmish trucks in some parts of the country)

Long day today - our new brush truck was delivered and thoroughly put through it's paces.  A few minor issues notwithstanding (and those will be resolved) it's a wonderful piece of apparatus.

And I'm pooped.

Did I mention I also got my flu shot tonight?

And there's a list of things to do tomorrow...

Afternoon all, server was down last night, so couldn't get back in.  Guess by this time tomorrow, I'll be back in Louisville.  We have plenty of sunshine, and temp's in the low 80s.  Very nice Indian Summer weather.  Everyone have a good evening, enjoy your tacos and see you all tomorrow.

Well - the weatherguessers certainly got it wrong at the "Punkin Patch" this weekend.  Saturday was supposed to have scattered showers but I don't think it rained at all, not to mention it was sunny for much of the day.

Sunday was supposed to be mild - partly cloudy - and I was very grateful for the enclosed canopy (with a heater) at the site, as it was cool and rained off and on all day.

At least the kids had dry interludes for their visits to the patch.

Friday night, though, we got a couple of rockin' thunderbumpers.

Good Afternoon.

Sunny out and 64F right now....went out for a walk around the neighbourhood and then went to the diner down the road for a bit.

Got some work done for the day..now I is all tuckered out...wonder why...Huh?

If your chemotherapy was anything like mine, it's no wonder that you are tired. The last month or so of mine, I barely made it to work , and could hardly lift anything at all. I trust that your appointment tomorrow will go as well as mine have for the last six years--the only concern my oncologist has now is over my hemoglobin level, which also concerned the many doctors I had July-September. I hope when I go back to see her in February she will be satsified.

I learned yesterday that the cousin of a friend of mine has had cancer, and the doctors have not found the right chemotherapy for her. May they find it before it is too late for her.

I did not look at the thermometer this afternoon, but it is cooler than it was when I came home from church; we are expecting rain this week.
