I spent the day, outside of hearing THAT "wonderful" piece of news, in my studio trying to rewire/patch my effects racks and other such recording paraphernalia...when I looked at the back of the rack it was loaded with cobwebs...where do these spiders come from?!? I thought my patch cords were bad enough but cobwebs on top?

Joe, thanks for taking care of breakfast this morning. I've been trying to type on here for a half hour, with nothing happening on the screen: gee whiz, I come back and everything decides to go haywire?

Today is a mall day for us..we need groceries as well as a few indoor gardening supplies.... Have a good one peoples!!! BC, I am sorry to hear that something questionable showed up. Certainly, we hope that this will not mean more chemotherapy. At least what you had did have a good effect on you, unlike what has been tried for the sister of a grammar/high school classmate of mine; a cousin of theirs has told me that the doctors have not been able to determine just what to use.
That sounds scary!!
We'll have her on our prayer list here..
Good Evenin'
Had a good day inspite of the anxiety over what was found...hopefully it turns out to be an 'artifact' of the process of taking the XRay....
MC...Those winds sound kind of nasty...hope the extra moisture may help the situation...
MC thay are talking that drop and possible snow showers on sunday here.Breakfast is ready.Juice and coffee are ready.Defiance moved it's trick or treat night to Tuesday. We have a big canidate coming to town Thursday.City is cleaning the red carpet.Time for bed.Leaves will be calling for raking this afternoon.
80 degrees to snow in 24 hours - Yep, it's that time of year. (-and we have a forest/range fire south of the Royal Gorge/Canon City getting pushed around by 40-60+ MPH winds)
(If the fire truck is the aircraft carrier or battleship, a brush truck is the destroyer/frigate ... they get called skirmish trucks in some parts of the country)
Tree - what's a brush truck and is there a chocolate cake for Mookie at the top of your list?
She who has no signature! cinscocom-tmw
Long day today - our new brush truck was delivered and thoroughly put through it's paces. A few minor issues notwithstanding (and those will be resolved) it's a wonderful piece of apparatus.
And I'm pooped.
Did I mention I also got my flu shot tonight?
And there's a list of things to do tomorrow...

Breakfast buffet is now open with all the goodies, coffee and tea is all ready as well..

I'se going off to check the forums for a bit....before heading off to sleep....
Nite nite....
Well - the weatherguessers certainly got it wrong at the "Punkin Patch" this weekend. Saturday was supposed to have scattered showers but I don't think it rained at all, not to mention it was sunny for much of the day.
Sunday was supposed to be mild - partly cloudy - and I was very grateful for the enclosed canopy (with a heater) at the site, as it was cool and rained off and on all day.
At least the kids had dry interludes for their visits to the patch.
Friday night, though, we got a couple of rockin' thunderbumpers.
Got sunshine and mild temperatures for us'uns today...that will be nice
Got some schtuff to do this morning and this afternoon...better be gettin'r'dun!!....
I'll have a coffee and a breakfast bagel to go please, Flo....
Have a good'un!!!

John: I ended up getting some time off of work for my treatments..and, yep, you guessed it..it is the after affects from the dang chemo...but with the wife disabled I tend to be the only one doing yard work...maybe I should look for someone to do it this time...

I learned yesterday that the cousin of a friend of mine has had cancer, and the doctors have not found the right chemotherapy for her. May they find it before it is too late for her.
I did not look at the thermometer this afternoon, but it is cooler than it was when I came home from church; we are expecting rain this week.
