Good Monday morning all.  Kinda chilly this morning, with temps ranging from mid 20s to mid 30s, depending on your location.  But supposed to have plenty of sunshine this afternoon, with a high in the low to mid 60s.  By Thursday, supposed to see highs in the upper 60s.

Coffee, juices and other morning beverages are fresh and ready to go.  And breakfast is ready and on the warmer station.

Hope you all had a good weekend, and had good weather in your area.  The girls go to school today and tomorrow, then they are out until next Monday.  Gonna have my hands full.  Everyone take care, have a good day and see you when I can.

Good Sunday morning all.  Tried to get in yesterday, but got message that site was down for maintenance.  Sunny and 35 degrees here in Shepherdsville, KY this morning.  Should see a high of about 62 degrees this afternoon.  Joe, thanks for taking care of things in here.

Have the Crock Pots going with roast, taters & carrots for Sunnday Dinner.  Everything should be ready by 1 p.m. EST.

Everyone have a good day, take care, and will post when I can.

We have a frosty but bright sunshine morning....and it's taking away the frost rather fast.  Should be a very nice day for late November.

Getting ready for church soon....then, probably KFC will feed me today as I will tune in to catch most of the final champion race down in Homestead, Fl.  Of course, we speak of Nascar.

Good Evening

Well, the wife told me that the annual Xmas walk will be held....next week. Which gives me all of a week...actually 4 days to get the house all duded up for Xmas. The event is to raise funds for a local charity food drive and usually get quite a crowd coming through our houses....this will be our 5th one....

Sunshine and blue sky.  Mod temp now and no wind.  So....believe I'll go take the plastic off the tractor in the little barn, and make one last run over the yard, and catch a few last leaves that have arrived since the last mowing.

Understand we're to have a little warming the next several days.  Not bad right here today.  Still no Roanoke hotel cam...The other one though, has a large dump truck right in front of it and a front end loader is working from it and back to the track, just east a bit.

Never mind cool - it's been flat out cold overnight lately.  Seasonal, though, and daytime temps are in the 40's, so it's tolerable.

I got the snowblower out and fired it up, so it won't snow for weeks.

Spent the evening at our local PBS station for their "Art Auction."  Lots of interesting pieces up for sale, but none that really interested me enough to lay out the money they were going for.  I've acquired several limited edition prints and even an original at this event over the years.

Headed for the meeting of our local SPAAMFAA chapter meeting in the AM.  The group just acquired an American LaFrance 600 series pumper that served locally.  Apparently it's a decent candidate for restoration.

For now, it's bed time...

cannonball

everything is clear for now.I post the coal train information here so Mookie can keep track of her BNSF locomotives. She is lurking for sure. The problem is a coal train will fit in the siding but it will block access to the rails for the NS crane.A spur comes off the sidng right by our warehouse at work.I have to cross at an actual crossing to get to work. With the air getting colder they will leave to power on the train to keep the air in the brakes. Here is a picture of the crane in the spur at work as an auto rack train goes west.Time to go pick up Matt.

I have lunch/supper ready and on the warmer station.  Just so you all know, its all Chinese/Oriental related.  Very busy here at home, so don't have time to list everything like I usually do.

Everyone have a good afternoon, take care, keep warm & safe, and see you all later.

After our first snow flakes this season....Monday, 12th, just 2 days different than last season, we're in a very cool week, but dry...and with sunny to partly sunny all week is the forecast.  I'll not complain about that.

Just about one month from tomorrow, we will see the earliest sunset, and the time for it to tick up one minute  {later}....And the long trip back to June 21th.

Good Wednesday morning all.  Clear skies w/temps in the upper 20s to 30 degrees here in Louisville this morning.  Been up since about 3:15.  Couldn't go back to sleep. Think it was too warm upstairs in the bedroom.

Coffee, juices and other morning beverages are fresh and ready to go.  Breakfast is ready also and on the warmer station.

Here in the southern part of the county, Dixie Hwy. is closed, from Hwy. 44 down to the Salt  River, at least for 2 or 3 more days, as they empty the H F cars and get the rest of the clean up done from the derailment. That's according to what I heard on the local news just a little while ago.

Everyone have a very good morning, keep warm, take care and see you all later.

3.  Enchiladas

4.  Chimichangas

5.  Fajitas

6.  Chopped lettuce w/diced tomatoes and a little bit of onion

7.  Mesquite grilled rib eye steaks and pork chops

Everyone have a good evening, take care and see you all tomorrow.
