.....Overcast and dry here this morning....Mid 30/s temp. Tomorrow, believe some sunshine headed our way....Hope so, if I'm going to start yard mowing in March this year, that's my last chance.
East coast looks like it will be hit with a late season Nor' Eastener on Friday....Talk of a half of foot of snow or more going up the coast from Phila. on up....And that will be April....!
Now....must get ready to go for next step in root canal and crown....Already past the first step....
Edit: A few snow flakes in the air.
Temp. Crown now in place.....Check book is hot.
Quentin
Sun is shining, birds are singing, it's up to +46F so far and it's only noon. If that nor'easter stays on the coast it probably won't bother us.
I suspect some folks on the east coast would prefer a root canal to another snowstorm...

Y6bs evergreen in my mind
Good afternoon everyone. Physical therapy this morning went well. Not quite as sore today, doing them. So hopefully, it is beginning to help both my hip, knee and lower back.
Walt just got home from Union Station. He went to catch the Ringling Bros-Barnum & Bailey Circus Train. From what little bit I heard on the scanner, I heard them say something about the Circus Train. About 20 minutes later, Walt is coming in the front door.
It is very chilly here. When I left this morning, it was 39, 40 degrees outside. It is now in the mid 30s, 36, 37 degrees. After I got through with therapy, and went downstairs to wait for my ride, saw it was raining. The snow flurries were north and east of Louisville this morning. Now, it looks like the rain has left, but it is still very chilly and breezy out.
For lunch/supper menu:
1. Grilled boneless chicken breasts w/grilled 'baked' taters, fresh salad, peas w/corn or you can have brussels sprouts w/butter sauce.
2. Tuna melt subs w/fries, regular or curly, salad or cole slaw
Everyone have a good afternoon, keep warm, and take care.

Cannonball.....Pain has not been too much of an issue with this process. First phase was about a month ago, by a specialist, and now today, back to our family dentist. They prepared and installed the "post" to fasten the {now}, temp. crown...Next, and hopefully final visit for this...will be April 20th. Then the new porcelain crown will replace the temp one I have now.
Of course these operations, do disrupt the system, and now since the Novicane is just about worn off, one feels it here and there. In fact just took two tyleniol to knock that down a bit.
Bright overcast skies now, but it doesn't feel much like Spring today...Mid 30s. Had a few snow flakes flying around this morning.
well the guessers guessed wrong.had some snow squalls to drive through today. We saw locals working in leipsic and deshler. The y101 had to sashay around other traffic and mow to get a training car for the new intermodal terminal.(its in their switching limits).Hope tomorrow is brighter as its opening day for baseball.Cw thanks for supper.

Checking in: youngest granddaughter (17) is now here in the big city and planning on staying thru college. Middle granddaughter is looking into maybe moving here to go to college. Can the oldest be far behind?
For the few people that still read the forum and have visited here, we checked our watch site today and find they have closed the east end crossing permanently. They are in the process of making the main crossing a quiet zone and have done all the concrete work. Should be a done deal in about a week. I imagine the residents will be relieved - there are two xings within a block in a medium density area. But, I will miss all the whistles.
Maybe a sprinkle tonite, but by Sat we will be in Disneyland Weather. Clear, sunny and warm! I am so going to go outside about 2 pm and bake in the sunshine. Going to really soak up the vitamin D! Maybe I will go from lily white-white to lily sorta pale pink? At least for a few hours.

Good Thursday morning everyone. 36 degrees and cloudy here in Louisville this morning. Going for a high of about 47 today, w/"muffled" sunshine, according to the guessers.
Coffee, juices, milk, choc milk, hot water for hot tea are all fresh and ready to go. On the serving station this morning: bagels, bear claws, turkey bacon, pork sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy.
Other than exercises, think I'm just going to relax today. Mookie, have a great time soaking up some natural Vitamin D; everyone enjoy your day, keep safe and see you all later.
Well, as CW mentioned yesterday, I did go over to Louisville Union Station to try and catch the RBBB animal cars-I rode my bike over about 2 miles and waited until CSX respotted a box car and then brought in the animal cars. (rest of the train at Osborn Yard.)
It was Cold, windy, trying to rain/snow/sleet, etc. I'm wondering what this elephant was thinking as he/she was leaving a warm(er) car than the outside.
I Did NOT stay around and watch them and the horses making the walk from the station to the KFC Yum Center!!

.....Right you are Cannonball....No peanutbrittle. Might need some adjustments. Decided to try and ride it out until at least Monday when everything should be back to normal place / size, etc....Then decide if we need some grinding / polishing, etc....permanent one, not until April, 20th. So don't want this to continue very long if it's too sharp on the cheek, etc.....
Thursday morning here is hazy sunshine.....and now mid 30's. Looking to see if it makes it up close to 50 by this afternoon....If so, well we just might do our first mowing.
Afternoon folks. We do have the muddled sunshine, and temp is about 45 degrees at 1:45.
The menu for the rest of the day:
1. Tomato soup w/grilled cheese sandwiches, fries and your choice of slaw or salad.
2. Your choice of grilled pork chops (bone in) or grilled rib eye steaks w/your choice of baked taters or steak fries, tossed salad or slaw.
Hope you all are enjoying your afternoon. Take care, keep safe and see you all later.
I'll have a #2, medium well, thank you. Baked tater and tossed salad.
Wet right now, but the temp is only in the low 40's and there's pink and blue on the radar just south of here. That's a good place for it.
At least we're not running grass fire calls today. All outdoor burns in NY are illegal right now, so we call the environmental conservation cops when ever we get one. They've written a couple of tickets that I know of...
here they go again!!!! Reds come back and win!! Weather guessers saying rain/snow for the weekend.Cw thanks for supper.Matt and I are working on chores.
