Good Thursday morning, and HAPPY VETERANS DAY to all our men and women who have served and are currently serving our country!  I wish we had a USA Flag Smiley:  that would be nice to have, or a smiley for each of the Armed Forces branches.  Anyway, thank you for all that you have done and are currently doing for our country.  You deserve to be treated with respect and honored more often than you are. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Tom, I hope everything goes well for you, and that you won't be in the office more than a day.  Get well soon.

Coffee, juices and other morning beverages are fresh and ready to go, including some hot cider for the mudchicken, to help thaw him out.

Regular breakfast fare is on the serving station.

Has anyone ever heard or eaten at Cheddar's Casual Cafe?  That is where we had dinner/supper last night?  Very good atmosphere, food was very good, and we could even watch fishies in the aquarium that was two tables across the way from where we sat.  Has any of you ever had fish tacos?  Those are very, very good.  I have heard of them (in a book that I've read from the library), but have never seen them on a menu anywhere around here, not even at Taco Bell.  Anyhoo, if you ever get a chance to eat at Cheddar's, go for it.  I think you'll enjoy it.

Everyone have a good morning, take care, and I'll see you all sometime later.

CSX is doing a track survey today, using a low flying helichopper. Local media is reporting this and sez it will be flying at around 300 feet. Haven't heard or seen it yet, but that's not unusual for me not to.

CW, how could you say we can get by without you? It won't be the same with the bosslady missing, but as you will. You deserve the time off for a change. Enjoy.

This is not yet confirmed, but it looks like I will be going into the hospital Friday for a day or two. I will know for sure tomorrow afternoon.

Afternoon all.  I've put out some cold cuts for lunch.  We're going out for supper tonight, so you all will just have to fend for yourselves.  I'm sure you all can do that, and don't need me around.

Everyone have a good afternoon and take care.

Changes are a-comin'.  It is spitting leaves and rain and only 48 degrees.  Very winter looking day after 72 yesterday.  Blankets back on after being off last nite.

Beautiful sunny day on tap here, by the looks of it.  Nippy for now, but it is November in the north country.

Got a small list of goodies to do, and I'm still waiting on the town highway guys to come and help install some equipment on the fire department's radio tower.

I suppose I ought to get going...

Good Morning!

Got some photog stuff I'm getting ready to do--hopefully the fog will lift enough that I might get something in the way of trains!Stick out tongue I be going out with a friend of ours doing the driving around the coutryside thing--e found a bunch of abandoned ROW's so hopefully these areas are still open enough to get some shots in--seems that a lot of these areas have been getting closed in/up with fencing and security anymoreBang Head

Anyhooooo----

Thanks for all the well wishes guys--I've been behaving myself--exercise everyday--have to finish off the driveshed extension but I done had a compressor say--thats it! I give up! --on me. So, another part of the trip is to go pick up a new compressor to finish off the finish work---grrrrGrumpy

Good Wednesday morning everyone.  Starting out the day with 44 degrees here in Louisville, KY this morning, going for another 76 degree high today.  Isn't Indian Summer nice?  The nice Indian Summer weather must be why hardly anyone has been in here.

Coffee, juice, and other morning beverages are fresh and ready to go.  Regular breakfast items on the serving station.

Everyone have a good morning, and take care.  Maybe I'll see you all later.

Well, I finally made it in here, after being absent since early this morning.  Our high today:  76 degrees and plenty of sunshine.

Since I've not been around much today, here is the choices for supper:

1.  PIZZAS:  cheese, Hawaiian, Pepperoni/mushroom and supreme

2.  Grilled cheese sandwiches w/your choice of vegetable beef soup, chili, or cream of broccoli soup

Barry, sorry to hear about the heart attack and diabetes.  But am very glad to hear that you are mending well.  Take care of yourself, and keep in touch with us here in the Cafe/Diner/CS.

Everyone have a good evening and take care.

Wow...very sorry to learn of your misfortune, but also very glad that you're on the rebound.

Watching trains regularly is very threapeutic from what I'm led to understand.  Cool

That could certainly take a body out of circulation! Welcome backWelcome! It's good to know that you are able to sit up , walk around, and join in the threads again. It sounds as though the diabetes is under control, and the heart attack has been tamed.

Good Tuesday morning everyone.  Gee, I feel like I've been run over by a truck or train this morning ( that's what going to bed at ll:50 does for you, when you have to get up at 5 a.m.).

Coffee, juices, hot chocolate, etc., are fresh and ready to go.  Regular breakfast fare is on the serving station.

Things should be back to normal at Produce today, so imagine it will be this afternoon, before I make it back in here.  Everyone have a great day, take care and see you all later.

Morning. I am up for some reason or other, so I may as well open shop. Treat yourselves to the bar and fountain areas. Enjoy yourselves.

42 and clear in Carolina, and gonna stay like this for a couple of days according to the boffins. Then, in time for the weekend, things will go south.

The tree man is coming back later today. Apparently, he didn't do such a great job on unhanging my rotatable antenna, cause it's hung up in the tree again....

Everyone have a great day.

Thank You All for the Birthday Wishes!!!

Quentin, I really haven't figured out if the years go faster or not. (there still aren't enough hours in the day!)

Ms. Mook, you are welcome to join in partaking the kibbles any time you want, although, I think they just changed to the "Adult Formula".

Happy birthday, Walt!Happy B-Day

It was clouded over when we got up this morning, and misting rain when I started out walking. About half-way, it began raining (not pouring, just raining, with a cold wind), and we may have snow this afternoon.

Walt, I heard your request, and it is all now ready and on the serving station:

1.  Three inch thick sirloin steaks, w/baked taters, butter, sour cream, garden salad, and, I believe you also like to have sauteed mushrooms & onion w/your steak.  Others around here may like that combo also, so there is enough for all on everything.

2.  Plenty of cupcakes, and there is also a 1/4 sheetcake, decorated with a train scene, and a #6 and #0 candles (that way, we won't have to call in the fire brigade!)Happy B-DayDinner

....A beautiful Fall sunny morning here in Muncie....Warming up nicely.

Outside work will be accomplished this afternoon....Out to lunch {somewhere}, first.

Walt.......Greetings on the new age plateau.  But they do start to go faster now....each added decade.  But guess that's ok.
