Instead of the beef liver or chicken livers, think we'll make tonight
a whatever you want to eat night.

Know what you mean, Mook: mutt likes his bacon half cooked, steaks half raw,
etc. Me: the crispier the better, as long as it's not totally burned black. Then,
it's too hard to chew.

Think I'll go to the store and try to find some beef liver and chicken livers.
Sounds kind of good for tonight. But for the diner patrons, I'll make beef
noodles and salad for supper.

Tell Mutt I have to bend over to see the key pad, hold the instruction book in my one hand, adjust my glasses so I can read the key pad, make sure I don't step on the real Mookie or her food/water bowl, and then hope that I don't forget what I what I was going to do! It is a real microwave and works great, since I like my food pretty crispy! Driver, on other hand, likes messy food - sloppy eggs, lots of juice on his soup, icky stuff like that! Ugh!

Mookie, thank you for doing breakfast! How's the microwave working?
Bet you're really pleased with the new microwave. Mutt wants to know
if you're sure you got a microwave, or a 'toaster' oven, since it's a GE.[}:)]
Mutt and I will each take a westernstyle omelet. Sounds good this morning.
I'm with you Mookie, my eggs have GOT to be DONE. Nothing runny about
my eggs.

Since you're doing breakfast, which one of the guys is fixing lunch for us?

^^ - ah - another icy, slippery, snotty, freezing day in the middle of the USA! CA has to turn off the faucet soon - we are getting the slop over...

Breakfast - today we let CW relax.....We are having a pick your omelet day.....keep it clean, guys....

We will special the Denver/Western omel. But I'm having my favorite - bacon, tomato and swiss - and put it in that new GE microwave and cremate it. (I have a thing with eggs not being petrified..)

Choice of toast - w/ww/rye and.................ta da.........................for all the kids in us..........Grape Jelly!

Wow - that was exhausting - ...............@

Mookie, I too have been wondering about Dan. Sure hope HE hasn't
floated out to sea, or been covered by a mudslide!

Joe, "ask and ye shall receive": will make a big pot of vegetable soup,
a pot of potato soup, a pot of chicken noodle soup. Will have your
choice of crackers or cornbread to go in your soup.

Tell Boss Hen it is long on history and short on mystery this time. It is still a fun read, but a lot different than her previous books. Might be her age, whatever it is.
Or mine!

Espeefoamer: funny you should mention that: today's lunch special is your
choice of an openfaced hot turkey sandwich, or openfaced hot roast beef
sandwich[C=:-)][dinner]

Mookie, will have to look for that in paperback, so we can add it to our home
library. [:)]

Mookie: what's the latest Cat Who book you're reading? Sounds like I
may have to check out the library.

Joe: Are you reading Dr. Seuss to Matt so much, you're turning into
him?[}:)]

Sorry I'm late getting in here: mutt had to get to the computer
first this morning. So I had to wait for him to get off the computer!!
Mookie, thank you for dusting this morning: felt so bad over the
weekend, did not do that.

Brunch this morning: turkey bacon lettuce tomato on toast, eggs,
and whatever else you want to eat.

Lunch: regular menu items.

Supper: chicken and dumplins, meatloaf, mashed potatoes w/gravy,
or side order of Mookie's tilted diner: this time tilting to the east!!

Actually I've occasionally found the Google ads on the side of the page rather amusing. A while back we were discussing beacons on locomotives and the ads were for emergency vehicle lighting. There's a thread current with a rather interesting set of ads, but I forget exactly which one it is. They're supposed to be content-sensitive, but occasionally Google doesn't quite know what to do with us...

Kinda fitting,huh[?][:D]

On the serious side,I hope no one is having "flooding" problems.
With all of this 'wet' weather,combined with melting snow and ice;
I know alot of people are having problems.

CW & I haven't been affected;yet. Hopefully,we live far enough
from the river.
And I sincerely hope not;she can't swim,and I do a very poor
impression of the'dog paddle'[:D]

Joe, thank you for making the juice and putting the coffee on.
So glad you all made it home safely.
Breakfast will be: pancakes or waffles, biscuits, gravy and turkey
bacon or sausage (or both, if you want) and cereal for Matt or
anyone else who just wants cereal.

Lunch will be: hamburgers, fries, hotdogs with all the sides,
condiments.

Supper will be chicken and dumplins (don't worry muddy feathers,
made sure they're no relation to you[;)]
