Mookie, here's your bowl of potato soup, and a side dish of cornbread.
Enjoy, Madam!!

And yeah, I know the weather's going to be cooling off, starting tomorrow,
I think. Is it any wonder why I have such a head cold and sinus infection?

Potato soup and beef stew/cornbread is on. Have two batches of
each going: one for lunch, the other for supper. Also have Red Baron
Supreme pizzas for anyone interested.

Having a "heat wave" today: around 50 degrees here in Louisville.

Morning everyone. Decided not to go for Produce this morning: tummy's
not feeling too well this morning.

Breakfast will be: lightly buttered toast and oatmeal. Dry cereal with
milk also available. Might make some potato soup later for everyone,
and with the leftover rump roast, will make a new batch of beef stew
and fresh cornbread for supper.

Send credit card in care of Mookie - don't need lips to use it!

Make sure has high limit on it - feeling pretty frisky!

Thank You!

You can't blame him he needs the money.

Oh, BTW on the war front, I think it's about time to leave Iraq after their elections are over, wasting money on some things, others I don't really know . . .

Getting ready to call it a night. Hopefully, I will wake up early, and
feel like going to get some fresh produce. If not, I'll be here, just
maybe not before Ms. Moo and Joe are in.

Joe and Matt, thank you both. The sneezing seems to have
subsided, for now, at least.

Mutt has put up his old projector, and looking at slides. Maybe
we'll get something to eat later. Won't take but a couple of minutes
to heat up roast, potatoes and carrots in the microwave.

Morning all. Woke up just before 8 this morning. Sneezing my
head off this morning (yeah, I'm becoming the Headless Woman),

Have plenty of the rump roast left for dinner/lunch and supper
tonight.

Mookie, toast sounds real good this morning. Not too hungry, but
do need something in the ole tum-tum.

^~^

Must be Monday - I have the place to myself again.

Let's see - toaster, milk, grape jelly, paper, kitty litter. Yep - we're ready to go for another week!

See we had a new guest over the weekend. Another dreaded Texas transplant. Those Texans sure do get around. We seem to have lost Dan, and sort of lost Ed, so a new Texan will be welcome! (Even if he does "do" Florida!) I don't think anyone really lives there, I think they just go and do there!

Making up my favorite homemade "goulash" - won't be spicy enough for most of you, but "bland" is my middle name. Happy lunch!

Mudchicken, have no idea where Jim is: been trying to find him!
Being as he's the owner of the diner, would think he'd check in
once every week or two, to make sure we're all behaving!!

Did everyone enjoy the rump roast and all the trimmings? We
sure did.

Roast Beef![dinner]

Now back into the "virtual freezer" .....another warm week in Denver (70 Degrees, why is everyone back east hogging all the fun?).....Whilst wandering around in here, we'll organize a Wichita search party off in the middle of the freezer, say on the shelves at the 1300 feet level. We found Waldo, but where's Jim?????[?][?][?]

Hey Joe

Thanks for volunteering for snow removal duties. Better get some salt and and sand on the walks and platforms. Don't want to have to call out Larry's rescue squad on a day like today.

Just thought I'd come in and say "Hi" before I get started on that
rump roast and all the trimmings. Will let everyone know when
it's ready: should be around 6 - 6:30 tonight. Slow cook it you
know, so it's real nice and tender.

And Carl, I slow cook it so you and everyone else knows that it's
not still moving or anything.
