Well folks, it's now supper time. And since it's rainy and very cool, there is a
BIG pot of chilli on the stove. Actually, there's THREE pots of chilli:
mild, medium and hot hot. Also, to go with the chilli, I'm making some
grilled cheese sandwiches, PB&J, and plain ole PB sandwiches.

Dessert tonight is on the light side: fresh seedless grapes.

Catch up on the mail.

Brian - you should have had snow last nite - or at least freezing temps. We are back to winter for one day.

Chicken - (drool) - oh sorry - I forgot my manners for a second. Have never been to Ohio and only to O'Hare in Ill. Never been east of Mississippi except Boston. Been in every state west of, however. And stood at mouth of river - when in Bemidji, so not sure if that counts as east or west. But I heard something about Graters Ice Cream on radio the other day - aren't you the one that likes Graters.

Jim - I am allergic to housework. Besides it is like Monday - it comes around every week without fail!

Jay - who needs Monopoly - that looks like a great game to me - play with the trains and rearrange all those cars! And the 50's scheme in the room - to die for.

(Joe - what's MC talking about? You live in the state.....)

CW - going to put a little chocolate in my coffee this morning. Or is it coffee in my chocolate....Or - skip coffee - eat chocolate....must go ponder this over chocolate cake and milk....

Moo....

I see that one of the major soft drink manufacturers has a coffee flavored version now....

Bearclaw and tea, please. Warm the 'claw - it's cold here. (34!)

Mookie, you know I've always got chocolate around here!! And I share with fellow chocoholics!!

Breakfast is whatever you want this morning. If you want a hot bowl of chilli to warm you up
this morning, you've got it. If you want turkey bacon, sausage, sausage gravy & biscuits,
scrambled eggs, toast, oatmeal, etc. you've got it.

It's 43 here in Louisville this morning, and it is COLD to me this morning. Don't
know about Mutt, cause he's still sleeping.

Hope everyone has a great day, and stay warm and safe wherever you are today.

Well CW, 'Mutt is sort of up,one eye open right now;and yes,it is very "chilly".
The "wake up" weather of recent days has been in the mid 60s,to low 70s;
and when you wake up to temps in the mid 40s,after the other;it is "CHILLY"
As a matter of fact, the birds must think it's cold also, there are several on the "bird bath"
holding protest signs, reading: "Plug The Heater Back IN !!" [swg]

Joe;Louisville is not quite as well known for "pork production",like Cincy is;
both Armour and Fischer's had plants here;and there is a section of the city
known as the Mellwood area.............for" Fischer's Mellwood Bacon."

Lunch today is going to like breakfast was: whatever you want, I'll fix (as long as
it's nothing too fancy). I do have chilli heating, and made two pots of soup for
today: beef vegetable and cream of broccoli soup.

Would anyone like to give me two or three ideas for supper tonight?

OK, well Mookie, 7 am next Tuesday. And don't forget your white Maid's apron, I am sure mine is too big for you. [:o)] [;)] [}:)] [:D] [;)] [:o)] Lunch will be at the diner, on me of course. [:)]

We had another shower last night, but not that much rain. It is cloudy and colder today and only about 57 right now. The predicted high is only 65. [:0] But you know, it is wonderful sleeping weather. [;)] I went to bed about 10 last night and had a good nights sleep. [:D]

Well back to the housework. I can't wait for next Tuesday tho. [}:)] [:p] [:o)] [8D] [:D]

There's always chocolate cake around here. I bake them, and put frosting on,
and freeze them; that way I always have some chocolate cake on hand. And
when the count in the freezer gets down to two left, I start baking again. Act-
ually, I do that with all the cakes (and pies) I make for the Diner.

Jim - I will not be responsible for you holding your breath and having dire consequences.

Besides I have my claws done on Tuesdays and don't want to mess up the polish.....

I doubt CW will let us eat lunch on you. She probably figures a table would be a little more secure. You know you will shake from laughter.....!

OK - I am half English - half German - obviously the German half doesn't know what a moggy is and the English half isn't talking.

So enlighten me!

Well, it has certainly been quite a long time since I was last in here but, anyway did I read this correctly, we're haveing breakfast for supper?? YES!!!! I think I'll have a stack of three buttermilk pancakes please, w/ sauage please? Can I have a glass of OJ to go with it?

Man, I don't think school work ever stops, but wait a min....I'm graduating so it will stop then!!! The good news is today, I got most of my work done, so I don't have that much to do over the weekend.

Well, I might as well say this since I wasn't on here last Friday to post it up on the diner. I put out a fire in Cherry Hill, NJ at a Walgreens parking lot. It was started because some stupid punk threw a ciggeratte (sp) into a multch pile, and guess what the air was so dry perfict for fire blazzes. So I went inside the Walgreens and told a cashier about it and snached the fire extinguisher (sp) and went to work. The manager was outside with me, I also had to use my foot to put out secondary fires, then when it was all over I handed the extinguisher to the manager and said "Have an Nice Evening Sir" walked, away and drove off in my truck. That was the highlight of my month right there!!!!!
