Joe, I'll take a slice of birthday cake. Will eat it while I get breakfast going
here. And speaking of breakfast, we'll have the good ole country breakfast
this morning: bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, gritts, country ham w/
redeye gravy, grape jelly, strawberry preserves, and blackberry jam (the
seedless kind).

Lunch will be regular menu of hamburgers, fries, tuna salad sandwiches,
grilled cheese, PB&J and ham & cheese sandwiches.

Supper tonight will be pork chop abracadbra with cream of chicken soup
and rice.

Here's a good one for you Jay: one of my neices is a big UK fan, but went to
Uof L! She would still root for UK while she was attending Uof L. Now she's
married and has two boys. And they all root for UK. Don't actually know of
anyone in the family who roots for UofL: and I worked there for awhile, myself.

Mutt-I think I have mentioned that the UK-Louisville thing splits my family. Son Greg, UK grad and stepson Russ's wife Amy from Louisville are not allowed to be in the same room during their games.

You're right Jay,
That would be interesting, almost as interesting as the first game of the
season,that they both play together.

Mookie and everyone else: since we ate too much yesterday, breakfast
will be a light one this morning. We are having oatmeal with a choice of
buttered toast, plain toast (where you put butter on it if you want butter,
or cinnamon toast.

Lunch will be: grilled cheese sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, egg salad
sandwiches, and the little individual bags of potato chips.

Supper will be: open-face roast beef sandwiches w/mashed potatoes
and gravy, fried fish and rolled oysters or shrimp and french fries.
