I knew Mary was gone, but didn't realize Les Paul was still around. I still don't know why someone would want to listen to today's music when music was so good back then. It made sense - maybe that is the problem.

The school is Witworth College in Spokane and I spoke to soon about the food because dinner was almost inedible and they didn't have anything I liked for breakfest this morning. I am just at a sports camp the college is hosting so I have no idea if they are a good college or not (I think it might be some kind of religous college). Oh well, maybe I jinxed the food by saying it was good.

Pork and beans for lunch, Cher? [}:)]

In spite of the heat, I have to bike to work today (alternative: take the train and still walk a couple of miles). I plan on either a hot dog or a hamburger al fresco en route.

Deja vu--

We've posted our rock star favorites here before. Any "newbies" remember Del Shannon? He was (alas!) my second cousin once removed.

Too hot to think about anything but a cool liquid breakfast!

We normally frown on alcohol at the diner, but if you keep it brief, and subdued, we might let you sneak a little bubbly, er, ginger ale in.

Nice shots!

Ginger ales all around it is then. The round is on me, everyone!

Supper tonight is on the light side, meaning not very much. Just green beans
w/potatoes & onions and bit of ham and some warmed ham. Had a baked ham
in the freezer. Took it two days to defrost in the fridge. So will slice some of that
to go with the green beans.

Hi all,

I'm wondering if I can pick up some champaign at the Depot Diner? I would like to celebrate my first "pro" photo job. I shot the practice rounds of the LPGA US Women's Open being held at Cherry Hills here in Denver this week! I don't have too many shots up at the website I'm doing it for yet, but you can check out my Michelle Wie pix at:

http://www.golf.about.com/library/slideshows/blmichellewie05open1.htm

Additionally, I have some more of my shots of Annika, Lorena Ochoa, Natalie Gulbis, and Paula Creamer up at my Pbase site:

http://www.pbase.com/copcarss/lpga_2005

Now I only have about 300 more pictures to process! Yikes! Is anybody at Kalmbach looking for a staff photographer? I'll even move to Wisconsin! He he he...

Morning all, It's already 88 on the therm in the arbor. And that's in the shade. Tha AC unit is doing Mookie's "Le Pant, Le Pant" routine. Am going to have to paint it in the Rock's bankruptcy blue scheme just to pay electric bill. The wren's eggs hatched in the arbor nest and now she's in and out every 30 seconds trying to feed them all. They sure are noisey little things. Sure you didn't send your neighbors up here Mook?
Mook- So you must be a early 60's fan, before all us musicians grew our hair long, and started experimenting? As it says on website, once I saw beatles on Ed Sullivan and heard all the girls scream, I knew that had to be my lot in life. You would've thought I would grow out of it by age 52 [(-D] Most of the late 60's stuff just doesn't fit into our party mode. It's just not danceable. Great music Hendrix, Zepplin etc. but it just doesn't work on the dancefloor, and that's our whole thing, making them dance and hoot and hollar. We've got a huge following and the party just moves from bar to bar. Not everyones cup of tea (or saucer of milk ) but it supports my train "habit" and I don't drink anymore, so Mama puts up with it. ( I think it was listed in "pre-nuptials)
eolafan- wow 32 years! Congrats. Would've been with #1 for 34 years if I had kept her. I think the only person I've KNOWN longer than that is Mom and Dad.
CW- You mean my evil twin is living in Kentucky? I got rid of him when I quit drinking in the early 90's. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!! He cost me two marriages (and associated belongings including houses). He is an EVIL, EVIL guy. Am glad to hear he lost his hair. I've still got mine. That'll teach him. Let's do some cool salads on this hot day. Nothing fancy on mine except shredded eggs and Ranch dressing. It's too hot to even fire up the grill. How about a tall glass of real lemonade, I'll turn on the sprinklers and we'll just run around in the water all day like we did when we were young? Ah, the innocence of youth.
MC- any word on those locos?
Well, am going upstairs to work on the Rock before it gets unbearable. Was going to go to Galesburg this weekend, but I think it's going to be too hot, and knee isn't 100 percent yet. Stay [8D] Talk later Willy

I'd take your used cooking oil and make diesel fuel out of it, but I don't have the equipment to do that yet.

Will probably stop in later for something cool to eat/drink, because I don't think I'll be able to get to the diner tomorrow account going to Tomah for large tractor pull.
