Morning all, It's already 88 on the therm in the arbor. And that's in the shade. Tha AC unit is doing Mookie's "Le Pant, Le Pant" routine. Am going to have to paint it in the Rock's bankruptcy blue scheme just to pay electric bill. The wren's eggs hatched in the arbor nest and now she's in and out every 30 seconds trying to feed them all. They sure are noisey little things. Sure you didn't send your neighbors up here Mook?
Mook- So you must be a early 60's fan, before all us musicians grew our hair long, and started experimenting? As it says on website, once I saw beatles on Ed Sullivan and heard all the girls scream, I knew that had to be my lot in life. You would've thought I would grow out of it by age 52 [(-D] Most of the late 60's stuff just doesn't fit into our party mode. It's just not danceable. Great music Hendrix, Zepplin etc. but it just doesn't work on the dancefloor, and that's our whole thing, making them dance and hoot and hollar. We've got a huge following and the party just moves from bar to bar. Not everyones cup of tea (or saucer of milk ) but it supports my train "habit" and I don't drink anymore, so Mama puts up with it. ( I think it was listed in "pre-nuptials)
eolafan- wow 32 years! Congrats. Would've been with #1 for 34 years if I had kept her. I think the only person I've KNOWN longer than that is Mom and Dad.
CW- You mean my evil twin is living in Kentucky? I got rid of him when I quit drinking in the early 90's. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!! He cost me two marriages (and associated belongings including houses). He is an EVIL, EVIL guy. Am glad to hear he lost his hair. I've still got mine. That'll teach him. Let's do some cool salads on this hot day. Nothing fancy on mine except shredded eggs and Ranch dressing. It's too hot to even fire up the grill. How about a tall glass of real lemonade, I'll turn on the sprinklers and we'll just run around in the water all day like we did when we were young? Ah, the innocence of youth.
MC- any word on those locos?
Well, am going upstairs to work on the Rock before it gets unbearable. Was going to go to Galesburg this weekend, but I think it's going to be too hot, and knee isn't 100 percent yet. Stay [8D] Talk later Willy
