Joe, glad you all enjoyed your day. And thank you for putting the coffee on,
and making the juice.

Mudchicken, our temp today is to get back up into the mid to upper 50s. It's
no wonder so many people around here are sick (my sister being one of
them)! Talked to her yesterday, and she sounds horrible.

Randy, you're welcome. Glad you enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner.

Saturday brunch is now being served: turkey bacon, sausages, biscuits &
sausage gravy, country ham w/redeye gravy, choice of fried taters or hash
browns, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, toast.

Everybody be careful and stay safe out there today, whatever you do, and
wherever you go.

But anyway that's about it from this end hope everyone has a good day and I will be talkin to you all later [:D][:D][:D]

Okay everyone: the Saturday night Pizza Fest is beginning!!

Know you've probably been out railfanning, or shopping with the
family, so just sit right down, and get yourself some good pizza
for your supper.

I see Bergie did some weekend cleaning. Too bad he couldn't have been left in peace. Poor man must get utterly fed up at times.

Jim, I make all kinds of pizza, and set them out on the warmer bar: sausage,
pepperoni, cheese, vegeterian, hamburger, specials, supreme, pineapple,
whatever you want, you'll most likely find on the pizza. (Although if anyone
want's anchovies, they're probably out of luck: I don't do anchovies.)

Mudchicken, Mutt knows whoBuddy LaRosa is. I never heard of him down here in
Louisville, and haven't been in Cincinnati much, at all. But I'm sure if I ever get to
eat one of his pizzas, I'll be in pizza heaven.

Good evening all- I spent most of the day getting STARTED at putting up the Christmas lights, followed by getting STARTED at cleaning up the leaves in my backyard. Someday, hopefully before deep snow and/or Christmas arrives, I'll get both jobs DONE!

I'll take whatever you got for pizza tonight, I'm too hungry to be picky.

Managed to fit a little trainwatching into my vacation today, and DIL turned out some excellent corn chowder, to which I added some scratch-made biscuits. They're gonna charge me extra for the trip home, I can see that now....

Saw a Cascades Talgo, Amtrak (haven't figured out which one yet) and a stack train with a BN green FURX in the lead. Was at dinner last night at a nice little Italian place right next to the same main. Three trains went by while were were there, but I figured it would be rude to jump up and run out.....

Brunch on the "Spirit of Washington" Dinner Train Sunday morning. Wish I was in the cab, but the ride promises to be nice...

Gotta go sleep off some of this delicious food!

I can't believe I am doing this but I need your opinion.

I had fallen for a girl in college but we had a disagreement. I later found out that somebody had been telling a bunch of crap about me making look like a loonitic. I know she cares about me but she has the wrong impression about me now. What should I do?

Morning all; breakfast items are up on the warming trays,
coffee and juice are ready to go.CW will be in later for additional
menu items for today. Since she has worked so hard this past
week, she decided to "sleep in" this morning.

Larry, hope the weather out there is better than what we have been
hearing on the "news",seems we've heard of snow and such in
both places.

Andrew, just let her see your true self, and tell her not to pay
attention to what junk other people say.

Joe, teaching Matt while he's young to do his fair share of the chores, huh?
Sounds like a great idea to me.

Mutt, thank you for getting breakfast ready this morning. Was really nice
sleeping in this morning.

let her see the real you. And tell her to not to believe what other people
tell her. They may be people who get their kicks by telling lies or half truths
about others.

Here's the Sunday Dinner menu:

roast beef, potatoes, carrots, green beans, cole slaw and nice, hot dinner
crescent rolls right out of the oven.

For dessert: pumpkin cake w/white icing/frosting (tastes like a spice cake).
Also have the first batch of Christmas cookies made.

I'll be there with the family. After three days off of cooking duty, I'm resisting return to the routine. Not resisting TOO much though. Folks in this house tend to get a little touchy when meals don't come up in a timely manner.

We may have to remove the post between the double doors that lead into (out of?) this place!

Rainy day here, but warm for late November. Wet retarders will not be fun at work. Thankfully, we're in a post-holiday lull, so we might be able to take things easy.

If anybody's hungry, there's plenty of roast, taters, carrots, etc. left. It's on the
warmer bar, so help yourselves. And be sure you put your dirty dishes in
the dishwasher.

Well, beautiful day for a train ride - crisp but clear. Good meal, nice stop at a winery (with samples), and plenty of scenery. Also took a trip down to a nice little town on the Sound, had to cross a two track BNSF line to get to the ferry dock, but alas, no trains showed up while we were there...

Packing up and heading east tomorrow, and by the sounds of it, it'll be nice and warm when I get there!

Hello!

Sorry I've been away for a while. I've been very busy at work and home. Is now been 1 year since my move from delaware to wisconsin and we love it.
My wife is now 27 week with child ( due in early march). It will be our second. My daugher is 2 and full of energy.

I haven't seen much in the way of trains except of the stray W&S that passes through the woods.

I hope everybody is well. I will try to make it back more often. Happy Holidays

Good Evening All,

Rainy, cool day here. Managed to head out to Clinton, and work my way east back to Rochelle with my cousin. Took some more shots that I'll be sure to upload when I get back to Denver.

Speaking of which, I'm on #5, the Westbound CZ tomorrow afternoon, so I'll catch you all on Tuesday morning. Hopefully, I'll be back to a more structured schedule, and can spend more time around the diner here. At least for a couple weeks before I head back to Chicago for Christmas/New Years.

TTFN!

Tom- Glad to hear that things are going well, and you and the family like your new home.

Chris- Looks like you may only be traveling through bad weather. Of course we can't say for sure, but it looks like your choice of train may prove to be most wise. Keep us posted.

Evening All [:)]

Thursday at work was unreal. Friday, was somewhat a repeat. I sure was glad for Saturday and Sunday when I do a different relief job and could have some normal work. [B)] [8] [;)]

Well Bergie, did some housecleaning as was noted in a previous page, but I just now saw it. I have been too wacked out this last 4 days to spend much time in the forum. Now we have an extra peg for a "hat" if anyone needs it. [;)] With this colder weather many people will need a place to hang their hats when visiting the dinner. (Chris knows I am not referring to him either. [:)] ) Now maybe there will not be so much stupid political nonsense to distract us from the T R A I N S . [:D]

I think I will break out in singing the song, "Oh Happy Day" [:p] [:)] [:D] I know I should not be so mean over it but the same nonsense over and over and over and over and over was just tooooooo much. However, I know I am not alone in being a little joyous over it, OK, enough said, moving on now. [:)]

My "Hungry Man Turkey Dinner" was sure dissappointing. I sure missed not being able to go and see my family. [:(!] [:(] [V]

Saturday and Sunday's weather was somewhat nice, until it started raining. [V] We had poodles everywhere, and water too. [:o)] [;)] [:D]

Well Duchess wants some attention so I must go.

Everyone Take Care.
