The fish is cod. I rarely ever get any other kind of fish. Although, I have been
thinking of getting some tuna fillets and try on the grill. May just look into that.

All of you who will be off this weekend, have a terrific weekend, stay safe, and
we'll see you all next week.

WoW a lot of people said no to that catfish in a hurry. I pesonally have never had it before, but I don't want to eat it CW and find out that it's not my taste so, I'm glad you (CW) said that the cod fish was on the menu instead. Speaking of fish I might tomorrow take a drive into Germantown in Philly and pick up a flounder platter from the best seafood resturant in town, Groben's. It's epensive but, good eats.

Well today I didn't too a whole lot at work. I just ended up driving all across the state and back today to pick up some drivers and some parts for my job. The only good news was that my boss told me to take his car, so I did. That was cool. Surprisingly, I didn't make any messes today at work.

She had the road to herself pretty much, and we didn't do too badly compared to traffic on the often parallel I-55. We also hugged the former GM&O pretty closely.

Did you stop by the Gemini Giant in Wilmington? For some reason that was always one of my favorite stops around there.

I was lucky like your daughter. One of the many places I got to drive with my permit was Lake Shore Drive. There's nothing in the world like cruising on LSD on a Friday night with Alliota, Haynes and Jeremiah singing Lake Shore Drive. One of the best songs ever in my opinion, but sadly not really known outside of Chicago and the 'burbs. You should hear the reactions in Denver when I request it from the various radio stations! Joe, tell Matt that there's always some extra fries on hand for him. Dessert[?]
Just happened to make several pies today: chocolate. Also baked a yellow cake,
no frosting this time. If you like, you can have some Cool Whip on top of your
slice of cake.

MC, perch is good also. I'll remember that (making myself a note), and we'll have
perch next Friday night.

Saturday brunch: turkey bacon, sausage (links & patties), biscuits & gravy,
pancakes & syrup. (This menu will be served until time for the regularly
scheduled Saturday night pizza time starting at 7 p.m. EDT.)

Everyone have a good day today, and, as always, be careful and stay safe
out there.

Oooh! Perch! I'm there!

(Whitefish isn't bad, either!)

We used to go to a place up by the cottage where they had about six different fishes on the menu all the time. Two years ago, for some reason, they became a "seafood and Chinese food" establishment. I don't mind either one, but we haven't gone in since.

Salmon steaks aren't bad, either, if you can find/catch them!

Well; what an interesting day today.

I did security at the Grape and Wine Festival-specifically the Grand Parade. Most of my duties consisted of essentially being an assistant to the parade marshal and directing bands and floats to there starting points and ensuring that the parade ran smoothly. I along with another from the college, did a control point on 2 streets and did minor crowd control. I enjoyed the experience very much.

In between the chaos of the coordination of almost 100 participating bands and float, I talked to a police officer to see what kind of nonsense they had to deal with at the wine tents. Well; what a crazy bunch of folk some people are.

One guy was caught taken photographs of young girls and was thrown out for that as well as severely warned. One guy decided to stab himself in the leg for some messed up reason. One guy decide to show up without his pants-his reason was that he forgot them at home................??? One guy decided to jump on the back of a police officer-police officer calmly shrugged his shoulders, threw him over his shoulders and wacked him a few times with his billy stick and then arrested him.

It's amazing how people get stupid with a drink in them. As General Honeres might say, they are running on stupid.

You'll like the place. Its wired and you can spread out on a back table and get your homework done while you get a bite to eat. Your folks don't have to be concerned as cherokee woman will make sure you eat your veggies and Mookie will eat your mouse if you use your computer for anything but research for school and other good stuff.

Chris, [#welcome] to the Diner!! Always glad to have new people come in. Hope you
stay with us till you're old and gray (like the majority of us already are)[:D][:-,][(-D]

As for anything to eat, there's pizza left, and you should be able to find a
slice of apple pie, or a slice of cake in the cooler.
