Tabasco sauce is something I stay away from (my new son-in-law practically drinks the stuff--if the wildfires get bad in California north around Santa Clarita, you'll know why!). Wife puts ketchup on scrambled eggs at times; I suppose Sweet Baby Ray's would work as well...

JDV - we must have a terminology lesson. I was taught that breakfast is breakfast; lunch is what ladies with money "do"; otherwise if you work in the fields all day or do major manual labor - you do dinner at noon - since that should be your big meal. Then if you are in a tux - you do dinner at 8 and if you are afore mentioned laborer/farmer, you do supper.

Translation - That leaves Breakfast 1 and 2, lunch/dinner, dinner/supper and don't forget all snacks - oh my - I think I am in love!

Mooie.....[:D]

Yup, got it. I typically use supper for the evening meal, but I must use the word lunch, as I am surrounded by 11 year olds. If I say dinner, they'll either expect to go home or expect me to break out a roast with mashed potatoes.[dinner]
You say potatoes, I say potahtos?
Roast and taters? ^~^ .......where?

Well, my brother puts Hot Sauce on practically everything he eats: from scrambled
eggs, to whatever. Although, I have yet to see him put hot sauce on any kind of
dessert. So guess that's where he draws the line of using hot sauce.

"Lunch" today will be sandwiches: grilled cheese, ham & cheese, bologna,
bp&j, hamburgers, hotdogs, etc.

Supper tonight: leftover spaghetti.

Lunch/dinner & dinner/supper tomorrow: roast beef, potatoes, carrots and
onions w/green beans and cornbread.

I'll take the hamburger with a side of fries. Can't go wrong with that.
We'll save room for the roast for dinner, or is that supper. Heck, the meal at 6:00 pm.[banghead][sigh]

I jacked it from Adrianspeeder, He aparently got it from another forum.

Too bad it's not included in our Smiley list- could that be done? Also, I'd love to use it in another forum where I lurk which has pretty intense debates that sometimes disintegrate into flame wars.

Jay this is so funny and cool I agree with you here 110 percent!! lol [:D]

JDV5th, Yes I agree with you also the Patriots don't need another ring. I'm going to be annoyed if they do get another one. This is almost making me want to see the Cowboys and Emmit Smith (spelling) come back and start a wining streak again.

CW thankx for the leftover spagetti (spelling) I ate some yesterday and I'll be sure to eat some tonight. [dinner]

Well, I didn' t do too much today except for wait around the house all day for the applience people to drop off a new fridge. Well, they came and I had to stock the new firdge shelves with new food. Then I had to take out the trash and recycle. Then I cleaned up a bit in the house. I'm glad I'm done that!!!!!!!!

Drat, missed Sarah again.

I'm missing her a lot lately.

Anyway, I've been through that fridge business myself, and am glad it's over with for you.

Yes, I knew I could do that, and in fact I've already got it saved here, but I'm hesitant to use it- or is it considered "freeware"?

Jay

That's real good Jay;maybe we can use that and standardize the menu.

I Grew up with basicly just breakfast, lunch & supper; to me Dinner was
sort of a very "fancy" affair, whether or not it was during the day,or in the
evening. And usually more "dress up" than the others. [sigh]

Greetings, all. Some of you may know me from the MR discussion boards. I am CSXguy.

My class is taking a trip to Washington DC on Amtrak. 14 hours on a train. The ultimate heaven! I live in metro Atlanta, and that's far from DC. A lot of my classmates are compalining about how long it will be, but you know I'm not! Anyway, nothing much has gone on lately. Been busy with school and such, so I had to go on hiatus for a while, but i'm back.

Well, espeefoamer, they say we had a good lightning show and thunder sometime
between midnight and five a.m., but I never saw or heard anything. Slept straight
through from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. this morning. Did see a few sprinkles this morning
while signing in people, and waiting for the Produce truck.

Looked further down the Google list and found articles dated later that tell how he spent a couple of nights in Baton Rouge at the LSU quarterback's apartment.

Good morning, all! Breakfast menu today is a light menu: cantaloupe and water-
melon slices, turkey bacon, and sliced tomatoes.

The roast, taters and carrots are on in two pots. One pot has been cooking since
5 a.m., to be ready for lunch/dinner. The other pot is simmering for supper. Will
also have green beans and cole slaw as side dishes for both meals.

No problem, Quentin. Glad I could help a fellow member out. 45's, eh? Careful, you're dating yourself. But then, I don't care if I do the same about me- I've got a bunch of 33 1/3 rpm LPs stored away. And some 8-track tapes for good measure![:D]

My elderly aunt was cleaning and found some old '45s. And I mean old. I'm not too interested in the artists, so there might just be a gold mine there.

Brian,need a player for those 8 tracks,I've still got 2 of them;
Quentin,I've got the adaptor for playing 45s on my turntable,
And the 45s to go with it,plus still have a bunch of 33 1/3s.
And my turntable is connected to the system. [:D]

....Oh yes, my turntable can handle 45's....It's a good quality unit but I rearranged things some time ago and simply took it out of the system at that time....but it's still very serviceable. CD's of course had taken over by then and I simply put the turntable away. Item: A couple of years ago a friend's mom passed away and I was on the receiving end of dozens of 45's....and I've never played any of them yet.....In that batch I picked out many of Ken Griffen's organ music, popular in the beginning 50's era, etc....so curiosity is building and perhaps I must take a look about equipping to play some of that stuff....
