<pulls out the soap box>

I am about to go crazy now. [:0] [B)] [8]

All these duplicate thread popping up on the same things. How many "Heritage" unit threads do we really need? Mind you I like the new Heritage units but do we really need 50 different threads about them? And gas threads, you need about 2 hands to count all the gas threads now. Good Grief, give me a break. [:(!] [:(] [V]

I don't drink, but all these needless duplicate copycat threads are about to drive me to it. [}:)] [8] They are cluttering up the forum and making it difficult to find the decent threads. This was in a small part what Ed was posting about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Sorry folks, but sometimes you just have to rant, and I really didn't want to start a new thread to do it. (We have more than enough junk threads now.)

Good morning, all! Mutt and I just woke up!! Got a little chilly last night, so I
had to get my blanky out, and cover up. Went right back to sleep, and was
out like a light!!

Joe, thanks for getting the coffee and juice ready. Going to have a light break-
fast this morning: biscuit & sausage, or sausage w/biscuits & gravy. Will spend
the day getting all the side dishes ready for the weekend.

I have one of the grills already fired up, and here's what's cooking on it:

hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, pork chops, chicken breasts and chicken
drumsticks (figured at least Matt and Mutt will go for the drumsticks).

Have already hot some potato salad, baked beans, and cole slaw ready,
and for dessert today: ice cream sundae drumsticks, along with a Ger-
man Chocolate cake, and any kind of ice cream you want to go with it.

Mind if I move down there?

OTOH, I still have to work this weekend. No idea what's happening on Labor Day itself yet--it's either business as usual, or attend the UTU picnic (where the fare is free, but nowhere near likely to be this good).

I'm late! I was down the street at that cute little boutique - getting my new fur for winter.

I am torn between the vertical muted stripes and the brown, black and white one. Stayed away from the bright orange one!

Next stop will be new booties at the shoe shop next door. Must match the coat.

Can't stay for lunch - need to do some more errands and then off for a long - very long - weekend.

Driver will sit in window and stare at car. Saves gas.....

Off to get nails filed. Happy and safe Labor Day to all.

Yep, everything's all ready. I do believe that I have fixed enough food to last
the whole weekend, and into midweek next week! Hope Mookie remembered
to fix plates for her and Driver for the weekend.

I have to say something about the repeat posts. Yes sometimes it gets annoying but, yesterday it got to the point of were I needed to start a thread on gas prices and Katrina. Everyday and every were I go people are always asking me about gas prices and Katrina so I couldn't resist. It got on my nervous soo much that I had to post something like that to get it out of my system.

Well to all of those forum members who will be begining their holiday weekend tonight, have a happy and safe holiday.

Roads today in PA were packed because of holiday traffic, everyone is going to the shore. For us Philadelphians and southeasterners (in PA) the sore is Altantic City or somewere else in Jersey. I'm not going to the shore, though I might be going to the river Susquehanna that is.

There is no set topic. However, trains, food, and everything under the sun seem to be talked about. Just post whatever is on your mind. So grab a stool, have a cup of coffee, and just chat away.

It was also suggested that Mookie be the waitress. I have a feeling that even though she does like to chat that she probally has no desire to be the waitress. But I bet she might like a cup of coffee or sip on a hot tea. Every now and then I think a hot tea with honey is a good thing, but for the most part just bring me a cup of good old regular coffee, no cream, no sugar, just plain, hot coffee. Coffee is my cup of tea. [:D] [;)] [:D]

Thanks Joe, for cleaning the grill. Looks like we'll probably be using all the
grills tthis weekend, doesn't it?

Breakfast is now ready: Mama's blueberry muffins, along with sausages,
biscuits & gravy, fried potatoes, oatmeal, toast, grits, country ham & redeye
gravy.

I will be MIA this afternoon: today's our annual Fun Health Fair, and I always
give the lady in charge of it, a helping hand. She always has someone who
doesn't show up, and needs me to watch a booth or game for her. Should
be a nice day for it today: our high today is to be about 83 degrees.

Good morning everyone I kinda slept in late today and boy did it feel so good to do so in such long time but any way you are right this weekend looks like oit is going to be great to do basically anything like grilling out or just sitting around and do nothing but most people like taking one last vaction before the summer season comes to a close and then we all. Start to complain that it is to cold out side to do anything [:D][:D]

Catching up on my sleep and getting re-hydrated after a hard week in the high desert country, including walking the former roadbed of the Colorado Midland. Keep the lemonade and ice water flowing. I would gladly surrender my portion to the folks on the gulf coast if it would help.

The Health Fun Fair went off as good as usual. Lots and lots of people;
had a talking police car, ice cream truck, jazz band, fresh vegetable stand,
and talk about fire protection: we had TWO pieces of fire apparatus
right in front of our house (the firefighters used our pine tree for shade).
Good deal, I say!!
