Hmm - someone left a plate of pecan rolls on the counter.

No! I didn't eat any!

But I did lick them all to make sure they were fit to eat. Yep - they are!

Brought in some macaroni salad. It's not one of my favorites, that's why you are getting it! I think it is a distant relative of Jello - both come from the family of Ugh!

Speaking of families - Driver said he once dated 3 sisters named Lee -

Ug Lee
Home Lee
and
Ghast Lee

This is for the entertainment of our younger members, since I am sure the old timers have all heard this old saw.

CW.....You might even put chocolate ice cream on my breakfast cake.....Unusual for breakfast but believe I could handle it....It must run in the family....Remember years ago when daughter was young....she ate spaghetti at the Crystal Palace in Disney World for breakfast.....

Meatloaf, huh? I guess I can loaf it or leave it.

Cher, I hope you're not offended, but I usually keep plenty of steak sauce handy (Heinz 57 or A-1) for dipping bites of meatloaf in.

I wish I could loaf for the rest of the day! Interesting morning...hi, Mook!

Pat,
I think we have the grills covered,as the Diner has enough grills
on the patio, overlooking the tracks. What we could use;is a little extra
manpower to help Larry,Joe and myself. Bring an apron, yourself, and
pick the times that you would like to be here this weekend.
Jim,you are attending aren't you ? We're looking forward to some of those
Arkansas 'catfish' done on the grill.[:D]

Good evening all, going to registar tomarrow at the college. This will be the first of many steps to becoming a customs officer. I unfortunately have put on a bit on summer weight so the physical education part is going to be rude but neccessary awaking to get by fat &*& on the move. Just a little out of shape though.

So, only salad tonight please.[:I][B)]

Evenin' all.
Got thepicnic table repainted, repainted the grill BBQ black and cleaned the grates. Got 20 lbs of charcoal and a full can of lighter fluid. Weather's supposed to be in low 80's with sunshine. LET'S GRILL!!!!!!!!!
What's the meat of choice for this weekend?
The band's playing 2 big outdoor shows this weekend. Sat night is a huge annual kegger that a local guy puts on every year. Last year there was close to 1000 people there. (pretty much all of the town) Went thru close to 35 kegs. It's one of those partys like you see in the music videos on CMT. A whole bunch of jacked up 4x4s with really good looking (can I say hot?) women dancing in the beds of the trucks, etc. It goes on till whenever. A really good time! It's a good thing my drinking evil twin lives down by CW and Mutt or I could get in a whole buncha trouble!
Then Sunday night is at a huge campground in Amboy IL. It's a family campground so we have to be on our best behavior. But the young kids love it. Most of them have never seen a live band, just music videos. They are just totally amazed that we can actually play our instruments instead of lip synching. They swarm us for autographs. It's a hoot!
On a somber note, let's use the power of the collective Diner minds and do a prayer for the victims down south, and a mental bullet for those that are taking advantage of the suituation.
Let's decide on the meat and I put on my " Kiss me, I'm Welsh" apron. Willy

Hay those Mashed taters and that meatloaf was really good!! I heard someone talk about yeast rolls as well. I wonder was that on the menu as well. If it was I guess I missed it becasue, bead is one of my favorites!! Beleive it or Not.

Keven the vest is looking good. I should tell you that I have one almost like it that was given to me by a friend of mine who is a trainmaster for SEPTA. It seems to work well when I'm trackside. lol

Andrew, I would say that you're supposed to lose weight in the summer,
and gain weight in the winter time; but I have gained a few pounds this summer
myself. So, good luck with the salads. I'll make sure I have plenty of garden
salads mixed up, and in the cooler for you.

Willy, what do you mean, "your evil twin lives down here by us"?!?! Where[:O][?]
