Hope the "bad weather" doesn't cause you too many problems while you're
out doing your thing;we just saw a big rig on it's side today seemly for no apparent reason;don't know the whole story though,at least there were no
injuries.

Got the freezer restocked with all kinds of goodies. Left out some roast. I have
fixed it, and have broken it into pieces for some beef vegetable soup. Seems I
have contracted a sore & itchy throat, so thought I'd make a big ole pot of soup.
And with the weather turning even colder, looks like that might be a good idea.

Also have some navy beans soaking to fix a big pot of bean soup tomorrow.

That is a fantastic picture;would figure it's entitled: "Get Outta My Way !!"

Jim;we've been in the "deep freeze" here for several days and can expect it
for several more. "Winter" has returned,no more 60 degree days for awhile !!

The hat sounds "cool";seems that is something that I always have to do to
a new cap. Kind of nice to see that some one else has done it for you.
(probably not the same way you would do it,but......)

Hey All

According to the noon weather we, here in Arkansas, are going to drop
down in temperature some more. The next week or so we will be having below freezing temps during the nigh time hours. [:(!]

Yesterday they said that the Dakotas were having single digit weather. [:(] You guys make sure and keep them up there. [;)] I don't want any part of any weather below 15. I actually don't want 15 either but may not have a choice. [V]

Now for my good news of the day. [:)] I had ordered a hat from the Olympic Commitee and it came today. [^] It is s w e e t [:p]. It is black with a small area of royal blue on the left and right side of the bill. Then about a 1/4 inch strip of white between the blue and black. Centered in the front is this year's Olympic seal (I guess that is what it is) under that the letters USA and under that the Olympic rings. As I said, the hat is pretty SWEET. [:D] And to top it all off, the bill already came rounded, I didn't have to do that. [^]

Supper tonight: cleaning out the freezer, so we're having beef stew, meat
loaf, baked chicken, shrimp, baked fish, and plenty of veggies to go with
above mentioned veggies.

Getting freezer ready for a good/fresh grocery run.

Hi All,

Sorry for the long absence. It's been a bit of a trying month. Have had a lot of bids going out, so I've been pretty busy at work. It's also High School Basketball season so I've been shooting a lot in the evenings. I also managed to catch a cold that tried its best to turn into pneumonia. And to top it all off I had to have the transmission rebuilt in the cruiser. Sigh...Can somebody stop the world for a sec? I think I'm getting dizzy!

Hope you have all been well. I am starting to feel better, but still busy at work and with the basketball stuff, so I may still be a little sparse around here. Will try to drop in and say howdy when I get a chance.

the comic strip is still in our paper sunday and the toledo paper everyday.we just needed one box to complete a load and it didnt get back to us so i had to go find it.was put through the computer system and sent on its way.will take some lunch to go.

Precisely why the cat "was on drugs" and she still yowled all th way east! Was fun to watch the back end of the cat trying to follow the front end going down the hall, or go down the stairs.
