Hi All

WHAT HAPPENED TO SPRING ? ? ? [?] [?] [?]

Our high today is going to be 88. I had to sleep with the windows open and the ceiling fan on last night. [:(] Mother Nature, this is April, NOT JULY. [:(!] [:(] [:(!]

My rule of thumb is if it hits 85 degrees then I leave the air conditioning on for the dog. BUT it is W A Y tooooooooo early to start using the a/c. [:(!] [:(!] [:(!]

I was looking for a little relief from the gas bill but if the a/c comes on now there will be no relief. [xx(] [V] [xx(]

I will be working Friday. It is a railroad holiday so I get paid regular time if I work or not, then overtime for working. [:)] I just can't pass up 8 hours of overtime for nothing. [;)]

The Deal or No Deal show was cute last night. The contestant not only left with $301,000, he also left with his new financee. He proposed to her on the show. And of course Howie Mandell had to get in on the act. It was just as funny as he is. I have always like HM and love his Bobby character.

Shedding? Try Dalmatians - walking snowstorms! You might not think a shorthair will shed, but you'd be wrong. If you're wearing a "sticky" fabric - watch out!

My old pup does a pretty serious shed in late summer (which appears to be due in part to some allergies). Keeps the vacuum busy.[:(!] Put the two of them together and watch the dust bunnies multiply...

Lunch is ready to be served out on the patio:

We're having the following sandwiches: BLTs, tuna salad sandwiches, bologna
and cheese, ham, ham & cheese, cheese and lettuce. You can also have your
choice of potato chips or fries with your sandwiches.

Dessert will be: fruit cocktail Jell-O and oatmeal raisin cookies.

Which is why Boa Constrictors are the perfect pet...they dont bark, scratch the door, sharpen claws on furniture, never get you up at night to be let out, you dont have to walk them, they never shed(hair, that is) and they dont care if you go into the bathroom and shut the door...
Added bonus, your neighbors never want to come over!

Here's a question for you all...

Why do I always show up when no one is around.

Am I in an alternate universe, or just suffer from really bad timing.

I know, you are all avoiding me. It's the dog hair, right? Mookie, I'm sorry, I try to get it all off, but the dog keeps shedding.

I've been thinking of shaving her bald (the dog, not Mookie).

Or not,

Anyhow, can I please have some coffee...and a doughnut, and a piece of pie—no make that some cake, with ice cream on the side (I'm working into lunch time, bear with me).

Tanks,
Josie

I'll probably be scarce, as we do get tomorrow off and we're headed up to Minnesota to be with my family for Easter. I will be able to check in on the forum from my Dad's computer, though.

Since Nebraska just passed the concealed weapon law - I can now pack heat. Of course, I can't carry it anywhere. Just sit in my living room with my concealed weapons!

Sorry about sleeping in this morning. Maybe someone needs to give me a "wake-
up" call.

Larry, your orange-flavored tea is coming right up. Along with the bear claws, we
have an assortment of doughnuts this morning. Don't worry, Jim, they're my
treat this morning.

I'll take a cup of orange flavored tea and a bearclaw (throw the bearclaw on the griddle for a moment - they're great warmed up). I've seen enough cats claws for one week.

Looks like I'll have to clean the hammock this time. I can't leave you children
alone, now, can I?!?! You always have to get into trouble playing with each other,
whenever I have to go run errands!! PLAY NICE, OR THERE WON'T BE ANY
DESSERTS
after you eat your supper!!

Speaking of supper, since it's so nice outside today, I've got the grill heating up.
For your supper enjoyment, am grilling some hamburgers and hot dogs. With
them, you can have potato chips or fries. Supper will be served out on the patio.

All Right - all is forgiven. This is so much better than ankles any day! And I will even share the fudge with the diner. The chocolate cake, however will be "stored" away for a rainy day.

Didn't mean to miff the cat...cuz I wasn't sure who that was! Apologies! On its way to you courtesy of a CNW powered UP train: 2 boxcars. One of chocolate cake and the other of fudge. Will that work?
