Twas a beautiful day in Central NY - dinner with daughter & her boyfriend and the boyfriends mom and dad. Nice day!

I'll have some of those leftovers from the turkey for a bedtime snack - not that I'll need any help sleeping.

Let me grab a handful of those jelly beans, too....

Hmmmmm...... Page 666, this could be a bad thing........

Happy Easter to everyone, hope it's a little brighter than it is here, it's been a gray day with occasional rain, high of about 55. We had my grandmother over for lunch and to catch up on local goings on.

My dad and uncle had the kids out in the fields yesterday, I was out disking a field while my cousin was out chiseling with the big tractor after dad put the duals on. Found out my cousin has a lead hand (tractor only has a hand throttle), and found the coulter my dad lost on the moldboard plow on Friday after almost running over it with the tractor. The field my cousin was working was a little wet yet, he had quite the time keeping moving, but my field could be ready for corn come Monday. I guess people around here have already started planting corn, I saw a few fields planted with oats or wheat already.

I'd swing by for dinner, but I'm still full from our lunch, but I might swing by for the company later.

At 4:28, our skies are cloudy and very overcast w/very little breeze. Like you, Quentin,
we have a slight chance of some nasty stuff later on this evening.

Hope everyone is enjoying your Easter Dinner, and having a great time.

Here at Mutt's and my home, may fix a couple of our frozen veggies to go with the
turkey ***. We don't have any dessert here at home today; mainly because I'm
trying to lose a few pounds, and the dessert I have waiting to be fixed is planned
for my birthday next month. (I figure I'll splurge then).

Once again, wishing everyone a Very Happy Easter, and don't
forget the real reason we celebrate Easter.

I went to one of our Easter morning services at church at 8:00 this morning and it was raining here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It has finally stopped raining here but we still have cloudy, overcast skys.

I have five brothers and four sisters and those of us who are home are all gathering later this afternoon at one of my sister's houses for a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, including whipped potatoes and gravey, dressing, and of course that Norwegian delecacy, leffse, which is eaten with a mixture of brown sugar and butter.....at least in my family anyway. I am the bread baker in my family and I am producing home made cinnamon bread for my family's Easter dinner. I only wi***hat a few of you out there could join us for dinner.

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE OUT THERE!![C=:-)][dinner]

...We here in central Indiana are again being warned of possible rough weather as the day wears on, especially towards evening and later. Hail, wind and possible tornado activity is threatened again. Temps are warm again. It is partly cloudy so far for most of the day....and really kinda nice but the nasty stuff will be generated because of the conditions around us and several fronts meeting in the area.....

Jim, no I've not been nipping at the cooking sherry. Don't even have any wine in
the house. Just figured, if you can have anything on a pizza, why not liver & onions.

Easter Sunday Dinner will be ready in about 1 hour. The Diner menu today is:
turkey ***, potatoes, onions, green beans, sliced tomatoes, mac & cheese,
Stove Top Savory Herbs stuffing, and deviled eggs.

Desserts are: 1. a chocolate cake baked in an egg-shaped ham can.
2. a white cake w/white frosting. It was also baked in
an egg-shaped ham can.

Joe, thank you for getting the coffee on, and the juice made.

Matt, thank you for your surprise!!

Easter Sunday brunch is doughnuts!! Figure no one will want a very big breakfast,
if they're waiting for a big Easter Dinner. Got plenty of doughnuts and doughnut
holes.

Speaking of Easter Dinner, it will be turkey *** today. Kind of tired of ham for
Easter, so decided to have something different. We'll have Stove Top Savory Herb
stuffing with the turkey, along with potatoes, carrots and onions, and deviled eggs.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!

Pizza was delish! I'll be over in the hammock, since Miz Mook isn't here.

Had to visit the office supply store today and after I got what I went for, I picked up a new digital rodent for the computer. No tail! I'm liking it!

Sure do hope everyone is enjoying their pizzas tonight. Went all out, and even
made some "specialty" pizzas. (Don''t look for that to happen very often!) But
it might happen more next fall and winter!!

Everyone have a good night, and have a Happy Easter tomorrow!!

OKAY !!! CW says the pizzas are ready (actually have been for about a 1/2 hour.)
She made all the usual: supreme, sausage, pepperoni, sausage & pepperoni,
Canadian bacon, double cheese, ham, pineapple, etc.

Larry, your pizza is ready !! (The Hawaiian is ready also[:D][:D])

For the rest of you with the "extra special" orders, they may be a few minutes longer.[:I]

Jim; your "liver and onion" pizza is ready and waiting to be picked up. [(-D][(-D]

an extra "supreme" for me.[dinner]

Joe;tell your brother [bday] from me also; 50 + is a great age to be.
I'm with Larry,I'm a few years older also, it's been a really good trip,even
with the Expected potholes in the road !!

Jim; you know CW knows how you like your "Liver & Onions" cooked !!!! [swg]

Jay; guess after Mon. evening you'll get a chance to get more [zzz][zzz][zzz][zzz]
until next year ?? !! [:D] or was that [(-D] [(-D]

braund91;although there always are several things on the menu every day,
Saturday evenings are generally considered "PIZZA FEST" Night
at the Diner. If you want a 'burger',that's cool, but you may have to wait until
pizzas are done.

...A very nice day under way here....Took a while for the fog to burn off. But now, it's nothing but sunshine. Next project....Out to the little barn to retrieve the John Deere and mow that fast growing {and nice looking}, lawn.
Last night was another weather night for Central Indiana....We lucked out {again} here but some areas had baseball and golf ball size hail...{and reported tornado activity}. Right in Indianapolis it was breaking out car windows, smashing dents in auto finishes and all the rest a storm does....Not sure really how much damage has occurred in the area...Flooding too. But right now, it's beautiful.

I like liver and onions just not overcooked. Please make sure we have some nice sliced fried potatoes to go with it. [:D] You know, some nice sweet green peas sound good right now too, and a nice side salad.

It is about 75 now and going to the mid 80s. We have some high cloulds but not really any rain chances.

I lost about 1/2 of my Hostas from last year. Right now the squirrels are digging in my Hosta garden and tearing up my Hostas. [:(!] [:(!] [:(!] Anyone know any good tricks to keep them out of my Hostas? [?] I really don't want to hurt them, just keep them out of my Hostas. (The slugs and snails, along with the dry weather, AND the squirrels all took their toll from last year.)

Well it is time to start getting ready to go play with the trains. [;)]

Greetings from Chocolate City USA!! (Burlington, WI for those who don't know.)

Beautiful day out yesterday, came home to find my dad out plowing fields, the high ground is fairly dry, but the low ground is a bit too wet yet. Looks like some people already have started drilling oats and wheat around here. I think I'll be giving my dad a hand this afternoon in the fields, getting ready for planting.

See you tonight for the pizza fest.

Pizza! Make Mine Hawaiian!

Happy Birthday, Phil! I'm a few years ahead of you, but it's not a bad trip...

I'm reminded of a story I read years ago about a retail establishment where "Debby" worked. On the occasion of her birthday (apparently a significant one), a huge banner was put up in the store where everyone, customers included, could see it - "TODAY IS DEBBY'S BIRTHDAY!". Of course, "Debby" wasn't in on the planning, nor did she get one of the buttons that said "I'm not Debby."

Joe, here's the big chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. Tell Phil [bday] on his
50th. Make sure you get him a balloon that reads "Nifty Fifty" on it!!

Also, thank you Joe, for putting the coffee on, and making the juice. Saturday
brunch will be: muffins (apple cinnamon, blueberry and strawberry).

Everyone have a great day, and be back in here at 7 p.m. for the Saturday
night Pizza Fest

You are all very welcome. I enjoy cooking, when I know there is someone around
who appreciates good food, like Mutt does.

I know not very many of you who come into the Diner like it, but here at home
tonight, Mutt and I are having liver and onions. You'll have to try it sometime: it's
very good for you, and tastes good, too.

Will step out of the Diner for now, need to go turn the liver over in the skillet.
