Deshler Ohio-crossroads of the B&O Matt eats your fries.YUM! Clinton st viaduct undefeated against too tall trucks!!!(voted to be called the "Clinton St. can opener").
....59 degrees here and I really didn't hear anything from the big weather system passing thru during the night. So, I believe it was kinda minor going thru here. It sure looked to have potential as it approached {on radar}, late last night.

Good Friday morning, everyone! Emma, welcome back!! Been wondering about you, how you were doing, and how school's going. Guessing you have about a month, month and a half left of classes for the semester?
Eolafan Jim, thanks so very much for putting the coffee on, and the muffins for breakfast this morning. (Are you a mind reader? Because muffins was what I was planning for breakfast today!)
Not sure what time it was, because I didn't look at the alarm clock, but we had a thunderstorm roll through very early this morning. Supposed to be more on the way, off and on throughout the morning and afternoon. Can't remember what they said about overnight.
Cannonball, not sure what the exact levels are on the river, but everyone involved with "Thunder Over Louisville" are busy, busy, busy preparing for the Air Show and Fireworks Show for tomorrow. Also glad that you are still with us. So far, I've not seen any pretty pictures like you. I haven't seen any pictures (well, not of my heart, anyway).
Everyone have a good morning, and I'll check back with you all after a bit.
'Mornin all...I am rushing out of the house this morning but I did manager to put the coffee on and to put out a big pile of raisin-bran muffins and some fruit for 'yall. I just made it out of Minneapolis yesterday before the ice and snow hit there (again) and got back to very wet Chicago and home before dinner. This morning is wet, foggy and about 55F with highs today about 65F.
I am leaving soon to take the 5:47 Metra express to CUS and then over to McCormick place for a really big trade show over the next three days...oh my aching feet, back and legs...good thing I have my gel insoles in my shoes, my back brace ready to go and my Tylenol all stocked up as well.
Wishing you all a very good day.
Yikes, I get distracted by school for a little while and the diner has a new name! Just thought that I would pop in and see what's up since I have been so wrapped up in my studies that I havn't even looked at trackside in over a month! Guess this is what college does to you.

How high is the water Momma? The mighty Ohio must be very wide and deep now with all the runoff up stream. The best of good news for you on the ticker test. Last year the cardio man gave me an isotope test, stress test then put the works on color tv. That was funny , I had wires on me bodythat looked like spagetti . real pretty red and blue colors on the tube. It must have worked as I'am still here. Now for a BLT & mater soop w/ genseng tea.
Thank you , ~~ Cannonball
Y6bs evergreen in my mind
Mookie, is that a sled toboggan, or a toboggan hat?!?!?!
Joe, I've got a couple of BLTs and a large container of tomato soup ready for you.
Just heard our latest weather report, and the rain/storms are not supposed to come in until after midnight. Most likely, it'll hit our area, right at rush hour in the morning, with people going to work. At least the kids won't be at the bus stops in the morning, since they're all on Spring Break here.
I've got more vegetable beef soup, tomato soup, and the sandwiches ready for supper. You all enjoy, and have a good evening.

CW, I'll have the tuna salad Sandwich and a cup of soup. Then I will rest and perhaps take a nap. Been up since 4:30 and have completed several chores.
Still cool in AZ mountains but sun is shining so it was warm while working outside.
Jack
Cw I'll take some of those BLT's and tomato soup.raining on and off here and the wind is coming from the south now.with csx catching up from this morning i can here them reall good coming into town.
Glad to know you all enjoyed breakfast this morning! Just got back a little while ago. Had to go to the Post Office for stamps (had zero stamps here at home), and had to wait in line. Only had one worker behind the counter this morning. There are usually two, if not three, workers to wait on customers.
Beginning to cloud up outside. May see some rain before too long.
I've got vegetable beef soup ready for lunch, along with your choice of the following sandwiches: tuna salad, grilled cheese, and BLTs to go with the soup.

I have to go out now and "mow" 4 inches of the heavy, wet white stuff off the walks and driveway now. Scotties out rolling and romping in it now. They are slowly turning white. Coming down hard.
// smells like wet dog fur.
Larry, have a very Safe trip and bring back extra pictures of the "little one."
Mook, nudge Matt and tell him to pass the Crackerjacks this way!
Tom, Q, hope we don't see any severe weather here, but it is getting to be that time of year.
Saturday is "Thunder Over Louisville", (big Fireworks & Airshow) seems we Always have
very "Iffy" weather about this time.
Madam La Mook - that's quite the breakfast...
Sing along now -
"On the Road again...."
See ya in Maryland!

Cw thanks for breakfast.38 degrees to start this morning.Matt and I need to go to town on a couple errands.Mookie sounds like you want to go to a baseball game?? Matt will bring the crackerjacks.
.....Tom, we have 45.7 degrees now at about 7:30. Today we'll see where that line of storms head to...To be some severe stuff along it. As of last night the weather people were showing the severe area {for today}, would be more in Ill. than here in Indiana. But I hope no one really gets the nasty stuff.
Good Thursday morning, everyone. Our current temp is 60 degrees. I woke up at 5:15, and the temp was 59; no rain outside this morning, but do have the chance of pop-up showers, as the temp continues to rise throughout the day today, then thunderstorms coming in from Arkansas-Missouri late tonight. Just what we need: more rain. (NOT!!)
Coffee, juice and hot tea are ready; even have the Gatorade tanks hooked up for the mudchicken. Although, he will probably want hot tea, hot chocolate or hot cider if his area did get all the snow. Haven't heard this morning.
On the breakfast/warmer bar: turkey bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, homemade buttermilk biscuits w/sausage gravy, toast, grits.

Geez: We didn't even wander off to Chunky and Gluck! (In our steel toed mocassins.)
.....Larry, by my first mowing today means the season must be a bit delayed this year as I have mowed as early as March 25th.
Pretty white blossoms are breaking out on our street now....Will be very pretty soon.
Also, still waiting for the first Humming birds to appear at our feeder. Have had it up now 2 weeks as of Monday....
.....Joe, went out in the little barn where the John deere lives all winter and took off it's plastic cover and turned the key {without using the choke}, and let it turn over a few times to get the oil pressure up and then pulled the choke button and bingo it fired right up and now the first mowing is complete. I'll check the tire pressure and install a new plug a bit later.
A beautiful day here....Lots of sunshine. 58.5 degrees now at almost 6 pm.
Well, I'm back home! I think I'm going to like this doctor! He shook my hand, when he came into the exam room, and looked me in the eyes. And he doesn't think I'm going to be kicking the bucket anytime soon, either. I do have to go back to his office next Thursday morning, for an ABI test, then go back to him on May 7th, for the test results.
Joe, containers are ready for you to take to work tonight. And I'll reset the warmer bar in a couple of hours, for our Wednesday Mexican Fiesta. Sorry, Mudchicken, but no more meat loaf and shellie beans left from lunch. Although, I guess down home cookin' could apply to the Mexican Fiesta, if'n you live down Texas and New Mexico way!
Radar says it's supposed to be raining, but my office has no windows, so I can't see from here.
Getting ready to hit the road tomorrow. Have to pay a visit to my little sweetie (and her parents) down in MD.
Back to the grind.
ow ow huh??? what??? oh sorry mookie if I was snoring too loud.here ya go.Yeah matt is supposssed to have baseball practice starting this weekend.we might get rained/snowed out? yuk!!.Quientin have taken the opprotuinity to get the mower out and change the plug and the oil.thats all set to go.Cw thanks for supper tonight.
mud, Re-fried Grits? Didn't get it right the first time?
Tom, I don't think Al has much to do with things, unless he's responsible for the onset of CRS.
(If so, I'm in trouble also)
I did something this morning I don't generally do, hit the "snooze" button on the alarm clock;
(I threw the rooster across the room!)
Joe, Mook, Move over, the Mutt wouldn't mind a nap also.
