You'll be back for a snack later!  You know what they say about Chinese food.

Did I see Hawaiian on the warmer?

CW - Driver took me out for Chinese tonite, so must pass on pizza.  However, there is always breakfast tomorrow....Dinner [dinner]

Rained all day today - only stopped a couple of times for just a few minutes, but we still managed to eat lunch out, have coffee out and sit in the park for awhile.  Then home for a quick nap and out for the chow mein.

Driver gave me a card a long time ago - had a covered wagon on the front - it said "Ate Out Again"....  inside it said "It was Good".  He said that was becoming our lifestyle!  Can't find a thing wrong with that!

1.  Anchovie
2.  Cheese
3.  Pepperoni/mushroom
4.  Supreme
5.  Hawaiian
6.  Goetta
7.  Pepperoni/sausage/mushroom
8.  Calzones

Dessert pizzas for tonight:  apple, cherry, peach and strawberry

Cannonball, thanks for the wishes.  They're very much appreciated.  Sorry to hear about your modem problems.  Going to knock on wood, that ours keeps working!

Joe, thanks for making breakfast this morning!  Everything looks real good, think I'll have a little bit of everything.

Tom, we had our oak tree cut down last year.  It had too many limbs falling out of it, every time we had a thunderstorm, and we were afraid one of them would hit the house.  It was almost exact center of the backyard.  But, we're still doing battle with the squirrels.  And hope you back is feeling better.  Back aches are no fun for anyone.

Our weather today is going to be on the cool side:  it's currently in the mid to upper 50s, and our high today will be around 73 or 74.

You all have a good day, and I'll be back in later, to start making up the pizzas and calzones for tonight.

.....Tom, you need to have some anti mosquitoe spray and not let them "rob" you of your favorite spot to observe the nice evening.

Seems like you will get rather warm there today.  We're coming off  a few days of overcast and off and on rain {which we needed}, and it will start to warm back up again.

The rain has brought up new grass we planted {25 or so lbs.}, to fill in damaged spots done by last season's drought.  Like to keep my yard really nice.   Once brought up our area on satellite and it was very evident we had the darkest green lawn on our street here in our addition....It surprised me but the image was sure convincing.  Could even see my John Deere sitting out on the driveway where I park it each mowing to clean it off after the mowing.

Good morning all. Quentin, I am here.... I couldn't sleep in today cuz of a backache that wouldn't let go. Currently, 65 degrees in Carolina and nice. I think I will get a friend of mine to retrieve some heavy lawn furniture that I have elsewhere and put it under my oak tree. It is nice to sit under the oak and watch the sun go down. The only drawback is the skeeters. Some of them are monsters that the hurricane blew in from somewhere back in '89 and make their presence known in a big way... All for now, have a good weekend and stay safe.

....What...again.....No one in here....47 degrees right now and the sun is peeking up over trees and appears we'll have a sunny day.  Hear a train in the distance {on Frankfort line}, which is about a mile away.  So perhaps a nice Saturday in the making.

Maybe even a yard mowing day.  Still only one Humming bird has been seen.....We're beginning to wonder if he was just passing thru on the way north.....??

Everyone have a good weekend.

Finally finished my class at work.  I am now an ergonomics expert!

Our Mother's Day brunch train was cancelled - guess nobody's mom wanted to brunch on the train.  I would have liked to qork it - we would have covered some track I'm not familiar with yet, but I have plenty to do right here at home.

With any luck, the weather will hold.  Nice and sunny right now, if cool, and the rain that showed up in the long term forecasts earlier in the week isn't forecast now.

I believe I'll have seconds...

I am now back from the doctor's!  Doc said everything is a-o.k., everything regarding my heart in the normal range.  So, I guess it's anyone's guess why I had the anxiety attack!!  Had to sit in the waiting room for 45 minutes, before I was taken in the back, for weight, and bp, then to an exam room.  Glad everything checked out all right.

Now that I'm back, I'll take a couple pieces of cod, a couple of hushpuppies, and a cup of coffee.  Then, maybe I'll have a slice of apple pie.  Think I'll forego the fries today.

Good morning all....it's 49F here in Aurora, IL and 68F inside our house but I refuse to turn the furnace on at this time of the year and will let Mother Nature do her thing and slowly warm the house with sunshine as the day progresses...so I guess that great coffee made for us earlier will have to do the trick until then.  Saturday promises to be sunny and about 68F here but Mothers Day on Sunday will bring us lots of rain and wind...good day to stay inside and pamper Mom.

Good morning, Americans, it's Friday! Currently 70 and overcast in Carolina today. We just had a brief thunderstorm go through and had a little rain. Don't know how much but anything is appreciated. I think I will availe myself of a danish or two, with my thanks. CW, I hope your visit with the primary care quack goes well and you get a clean bill of health. Take care.

Good Friday morning, everyone!  Quentin, I'm in now.  Did manage to sleep in (and everyone else here at home are still asleep).

I've set out doughnuts and danish for this morning, made fresh juice, and have water heating for hot tea.  And there's also the pre-requisite bagels and bear claws on the counter, also.

Not too sure about today and tomorrow, but they are predicting that it'll be a very wet Mothers Day around here Sunday.

I won't be around much today until sometime this afternoon:  go to my primary care doctor, at 11:45, for a post hospital follow-up appointment.  So maybe one of you can take care of our Friday Fish Fry for today.

....Boy, the regular crew must be sleeping.  7:06 and no one here yet.

50.6 temp up here in Muncie and overcast.  But believe the rain has passed....even sunshine later and the coming weekend.

The rain we did get was well needed.  Still haven't peeked at my rain gauge.  Must do that on the way out for the paper.

Edit:  Rain gauge....1.65" last 30 hrs.

Rain pretty much all day today, no severe weather, but bad enough to not want to make you go outside and do anything.

Here is a link to a photo of your locomotive from Railpictures.net:

Otherwise, just do a search on the Railpictures.net homepage for "CSX GP15" and you'll get lots of other photos.

Ray, thanks for providing dessert for tonight.  Mutt has taken care of the supper menu:

His spaghetti casserole, w/garlic bread (there's about 6 large loaves), and garden salads.

Think after I eat some of the casserole and garlic bread,  I'll take a bowl of orange sherbet for dessert.
