Although it's not what many would call vintage passenger, I would really love to see a good quality version of the Auto Train done in plastic. The Bachman set was just too toy-like for my tastes. The Auto Train was (and still is) a very unique part of our passenger train history.

I am an HO Rio Grande modeler who would like to see available in plastic first, a combine like the Grande's 1230 and 1231. Second, on my wish list, is a dome lunchette, like the Grande's Silver Shop. With these two cars, I could have a very effective Rio Grande Zephyr.

I would like to see passenger cars either decorated for the Chicago & Eastern Illinous Railroad, or some that would be mostly correct for them that i can paint myself. on that note, we need someone to make C&EI passenger car decals since Champ doesnt anymore.

second, I would love to have some Amtrak California and Amtrak Surfliner cars. the brass ones sold real well, why cant we get them in plastic??

and one more...we need the El Capitan Hi Level cars done in ready to run plastic. both in Santa Fe and Amtrak paint. and i would especially like a model of a Pacific Parlour car that was built using old El Cap lounge cars.

In N & HO scales, smooth sided, fluted and heavyweight kitchen and dormitory cars, you can't completed the consist without the staff/crew quarters.

Local commuter cars circa 1950-1960 would also be great.

I'm modelling the NYC in N scale and I would really like to see a complete set of NYC heavyweights. I would realy be happy if they were equipped with Micro-Trains couplers and had interior details and lighting. Is that asking for too much?

I would like to see a manufacturer produce passenger cars for the 1937 Great Northern Empire Builder in HO scale. I model the time period 1930 to 1940 and would like to see more heavyweight cars in plastic kits from that time period especially those that represent the recently introduced (for then) air conditioning.

Forgive me if this is a re-post..The last one went off into the bit-bucket: In HO, I'd like to see the MU commuter cars that ran on the Morristown-Boonton NJ line. I remember making the trip, a long time ago, to Denville and still have memories of the smell of the pantograph-powered coaches, the feel of the rattan seats and the dull ugly flat green paint. I think Walters had something, back in the early 70's, but I never picked any up.

IHC produced fluted side baggage, baggage dorm and coach that are Southern prototypes. I don' know about the diner and sleeper. The dome lounge doesn't have a prototype and that observation is a Santa Fe Vista series 4-1 sleeper lounge. I would like to see a 14-4 sleeper car used by the MP, KCS, UP, Frisco, Katy and B&O. [:D]

I model in HO scale, 1950's. Various HW baggage cars NYC, ERIE, B&O, WAB, C&O, MP, ATSF, UP, SP, IC, SOU, ACL, SAL, CRI&P (all great for interchange service) and modernized HW baggage cars would be useful to many. Hoping for more P-S and ACF LW cars like Walthers Budd, PRR B70, P54, MP54, P85BR and modernized P70 variants (who has AlcoModels dies?), and a modern PRR diner. Nice PRR B60 baggage car kits are already available from Bethlehem Car Works. Hopefully Branchline is still planning that extensive line of HW cars. I like the one piece body with modular window panel idea outlined above, clean, undrilled roofs with separate roof vents and modular underbody details, NO molded on grabs PLEASE, and the LW skirts are alot easier to remove than they are to add especially if score lines are molded into the backs of the sides. Thanks, owen

In HO scale, the Great Northern streamlined cars (there are many) both for the Empire Builder and the others (Western Star, Badger, Gopher, etc.). Especially the full length "Great Dome" cars, diners and observation cars.
