This is a car from the Milwaukee rapid transit and Speedrail. They took over operation of the interurban lines to Hales Corners and Waukesha. The system was removed in 1953.

Were those connected to the East Troy Railroad?

I don't see an option for a BB code.

Those are some good looking street cars. I used to beg my dad to take me to kenosha so we could ride the ones there.

As for your BB code, just load up imgur, hover over your name till the drop down menu comes up, then click images

click the image you want and it should pull it up with a list of URLs on the right side. Then you should see the BB code

I don't care what they call "it".  "It" goes in the same column as meatloaf, and I won't eat that either.

Mornin'!

Ahhhh....  I'll pass on the ruined eggs.  Don't think I would like the gunk they spilled on top of them!  What an awful thing to do to a couple good eggs.  Yuch!

Zoe, just a pot of dark roast coffee for me this morning.

I don't like tomatoes either! But I'm always open to new things!

That’s Salsa, remember we’re in New Mexico.

Edit:  Top of the page for the second time this week.  With this luck, I should go out and buy a lottery ticket.

It's still morning.  How about an Albuquerque breakfast on me.

Buy one for me too! I'll take a $5 scratcher! And what do you call that breakfast?? That looks delicious. I may have to make that tomorrow morning.

My oldest daughter and her husband "retired" to Northern Illinois last year and bought a beautiful old house. There are some grand houses up there.

It's beautiful up here in northern IL-southern WI. I will be hopping accross the border as soon as Wisconsin Southern calls me back. The taxes here suck and wisconsin has more wilderness

When you click on the image in Imgur, this screen should be what you see. BB Code is on the lower right. Click the "Copy" button, then paste to the MR forum.

Randy, choose the option that says "BB Code", it adds the IMG bracket things that are necessary.

Good morning, everyone.  I'll have black coffee, please.

I have to cut grass this morning, and then I will try to finish the basement bathroom project.  I got the wiring done yesterday.  I will be glad to have it done.  I can cross one more item off the list of things to do.

The founder of Philips Petroleum was Waite Philips.  He built a mansion in the New Mexico desert near Cimarron.  Today, the mansion is part of Philmont, a huge camp for the Boy Scouts.  The mansion is open for tours, and if you ever get to that area, it's neat to see.  We were there several years ago.  It's an oasis in thousands of square miles of desert:

I think I understand how to.. I just don't have an account with a photo hosting site that doesn't require a log in. I read the instructions AFTER I attempted to post a photo.

Tried using a hobby forum photo hosting site, no go , oh well.

Hi Randy,

If you would like me to post instructions on how to insert a photo into your threads, just ask. There are instructions at the top of the General Discussion forum pages but they are a bit out of date. I would be happy to explain the process.

Cheers!!

Ive been building some models of Milwaukee area interurbans in N Scale.

Bummer...

that sounds really neat. I'm basing my layout after southern wi. Would love to see pictures of yours. it's really simple.

the Way I do it is imgur.

Go to imgur and set up an account, then post a picture (I always make mine hidden so I don't need to add a title).

then at the top right, hover over your name and go to images.

Then when you click on the picture it will give you a list of URLs that you can copy.

Use the BB CODE one.

then just paste it in the forums. It will show up as a website but when it posts it will be a picture.

Hope that helped!

Hello all! This is my first time joining in the diner.

Hi Ringo58! Welcome to the Diner!   Welcome

The rules are pretty much common sense. Be nice and stay away from the forbidden topics mentioned previously (as well as guns).

It took me a while to discover the Diner when I first joined the forums. Now it's one of my favourite threads. It's interesting to hear about peoples' lives, good and bad, and there is support here if you need it. If you just want to whine you can do that too!!Smile, Wink & GrinLaughLaughLaugh

 Evening Diners

Flo, give the gang and I a Beer please and Dirk 2 Dog Treats! He was a good boy tonight! Big Smile

Day started off great! Had to do a few things before work and I thought one would be a problem. Left for work 45 minutes early just to be safe. Nope not a single problem and got to work 30 minutes before I needed to be there.

Work started out good, we have a A/C again! But with the weather we are having now? Whistling Well I like having A/C but I could live with the current temp. After that, the day flat lined! Only one customer in 9 hours and they only wanted a bed frame and we are out of them.

Running some Steam tonight. As soon as I posted that the BLI PRR I1sa derailed, go figuer?

Later, Ken and Dirk says Why did the train stop Daddy Woof, Woof?

I hate Rust

I remember taking a shower, getting the mail from the mailbox, and needing a shower agaiin.

I take my showers on full "cold" water for six months of the year. The cold water from the tap is over 100 degrees! Perfect temperature for a refreshing shower.

If I go outside after that, I will need another shower.

I usually shower three times a day.

Track Fiddler:

Are you really boycotting the diner while it is in Mew Mexico?

Remodel work:

I poured the "Level Quick" on the first half of the floor. About 60 square feet. I had never worked with this stuff before. It made a tremendous mess. It is not like mortar at all, and it sets up fast! 90% of my first batch went to waste because I was trying to work carefully and take my time.

This was my first time using one of those smoothing screeds. I don't think the final result turned out too bad.

I will hopefully lay some tile tomorrow.

I have a friend who lives in Gilbert, Arizona.  He says it seems like most of the people moving into his neighborhood have California license plates.

A lot of my high school friends in California are considering moving to AZ.

Kevin--Humidity messes with a lot of people, especially those people with lung problems, but also people with arthritis.

I spent 2 Augusts in FL. I remember taking a shower, getting the mail from the mailbox, and needing a shower agaiin.
