I hung the door in the bathroom today. I had never hung a door before, and it was quite a challenge. Certainly a lot more to it than I expected.

I’ll trade you. 105° today and 110° Sunday.

No thanks!  Now when I get out of bed and there is 2 foot of white stuff needing to be shoveled in my driveway before I can go driving somewhere...  Then I might want to trade with you. LOL

When I lived in northern Utah 30 some years ago I had a garden tractor and it only took two snow storms and it had a snow blade.  I have a much newer tractor today and the old blade so yes, I’ll trade you.

It only hit 104° today but when your used to low single diget H 30% is a killer.  110° tomorrow.

Finished the basement bathroom!

To celebrate, I'm having happy hour watching a rerun of "Miracle on 34th Street."

Nothing like a Christmas movie with temps outside above 90°.

Page 5 starts at -1, page 6 starts at 0, page 7 will be back to normal. At least that is how it works on my computer.

Yep!  You would think a work around or fix for this would have been found and implimented by this time.  I'm sure that MR is as frustrated as we are with all this.  Oh well, if that is the worst life has to throw at us, we should be very happy.... WhistlingSmile, Wink & Grin

Mornin'......

It has now gotten all the way up to 71°F here in the Finger Lakes.  My house was that inside when I got up a few hours ago.  Getting to that time of year where I get to switch from Air Conditioning to heat and back every day....  LOL

I’ll trade you.  105° today and 110° Sunday.

Little good news, my Credit Card debit is below $4000.00! Big Smile I am at 22.80% of my credit limt. At the start of 2020 I think I was around 50%

Nice.

LION has a 2200 limit on tyhe card he uses, but that is always paid in full every month. A Company Card, you know.

All I gotta do is show that I had permission to spend the money.

All little stuff... meals out etc... needs a sales slip, big ticket items ordered on line need a full purchase order ticket and a print out of the invoice.

We have an account with some vendors and these also need the complet purchase order and sales ticket.

The LION is never in debt, but then the LION is never allowed to have more than a few dollars pocket money for which I need to ask the Prior.

ROAR

HEY I miossed the top spot by three minutes.

BUT your LION is in a generous mood, so free rqare wildebeests for all!

Here are some modern trains in New Mexico:

Dave

Man those are some looooooong trains. We have long CNs up here, but not that long. Well they feel long as they creep by at 5mph. You sit there and wonder why theyre going slow, then they pass and the gates dont go up and you realize they were waiting for another one to clear the siding! I remeber one nice I got caught by 4 trains! I sat there for almost an hour. One stopped on the crossing, letting 2 pass then started going as a 4th went by. Sorry I'm after curfew dad, I got caught by 4 trains at once, that was a hard one to explain.

I love CN paint but I get a little tired of only seeing stack trains and metras. Every once in a while I catch a manifest freight. NS used to have a contract up here and would see them heading north into wisconsin on the CN mainline. I haven't seen one in months, I wonder what happend to them. I got to see some on a BNSF mixed freight at a bar last weekend. Nice place right next to the tracks, called RR crossing. My dads band was playing so the engineer gave a little horn show.

Top of the morning and top of the page, look at that!

Goodmorning everyone. I will take a cup of cofee when it is done as well.

John I hope you get the bathroom done! We need to paint ours, the previous tennants tried to repaint it but used the wrong color so we have a 2tone bathroom!

Me and my girlfriend just moved into an apartment with an attatched storage unit. I've told her the past few weekends I would get to it, then work or family gets in the way. Maybe tomrrow it will get done finally. After all, 95% is my stuff lol.

Then theres my layout that needs attention. I have a bad habbit of starting other projects before I finish others. Like all my switcher projects and weathering projects.

I hope all of you have a productive weekend, hope the weather is nice accross the board!

Good morning everyone. I see Chloe is brewing a fresh pot of strong coffee. I will have a cup when it is done.

We are still on the broken page!

I guess without "Post Hog" Track Fiddler in the diner our stay here will be longer than necessary.

Good morning, everyone.  Lots of black coffee this morning.

Today, I have promised myself I will finish the basement bathroom project.  I'm tired of what started as a two-day project and is now a two-week project.  I may not go to bed tonight, but I'm finishing it today.

My experience with computer printers is that they are a pain in the rear.  While I worked at school, we always had problems with printers, especially when everything switched to wireless.

In the 1980s, each classroom had one dot matrix printer connected to one computer, and we got along fine.

As things progressed, so did the problems.  A few years before I retired, I told the tech guy that I was tired of the issues.  I wanted a printer specifically for my office.  I was tired of printing something that would go to the secretaries' printer-copier.  How often did I press 'print', and then stand in their office waiting, often having to go back and press 'print' again.

Another issue was the whole computer storage of files opposed to paper storage.  When we first computerized, we were promised a paper-free world that would be heaven on earth.  Instead, we became a computer storage world that still needed paper backups of important documents in file cabinets.

Even now I have saved files on the laptop, backed up to a thumb drive stored in a lockbox, backed up to the cloud, and finally a paper printout stored in a file cabinet.  Progress!

I'm trying to take up more room to get us off of page five.  If I can think of any more useless information to relay, I'll type it.

Apparently they brought back the sauce earlier this year when the movie was supposed to be released, but the pandemic ruined that, and no one told me the sauce was available in March and April. There were no advertisements or promotions for it.

I missed it!

I am so sad.

I missed it too! I've never had it but I wanted to try it. They only had it at select stores but they would run out in the first few hours, thanks to all the Rick and Morty fans.

When Disney released their animated film Mulan in 1998 McDonalds had a cross promotion with "SzeChuan Teriyaki" dipping sauce for their McNuggets.

BEST THING EVER!

I must have eaten 1,000 Chicken McNuggets in 1998 with this sauce.

Live action Mulan is coming out this month, and there are no plans for more McDonalds "Mulan" sauce.

Apparently they brought back the sauce earlier this year when the movie was supposed to be released, but the pandemic ruined that, and no one told me the sauce was available in March and April. There were no advertisements or promotions for it.

I missed it!

I refuse to buy a new printer until I see smoke coming out of the old one!

I have not owned a computer printer for years.

While my youngest was in High School, a little office "park" opened about a half mile from my house. It is a place where work-from-home-people can have a business address, receive packages, and use conference rooms when needed. They also offer office services.

One of the things they do is print in color from PDF or WPS files for 22 cents a page. Since then, they are my "printer" when I need one.

I hate computers!!!!AngryGrumpyBang Head

I just spent three hours getting my printer to work again. It has worked fine for the past five years since we bought it, but today it refused to respond despite the diagnostics claiming that everything was fine. After more than two hours fussing around, I finally ended up uninstalling all of the printer related software, restarting the computer and the WiFi, and then reinstalling the printer programs.

That got it working but to add insult to injury, it proceeded to tell me that four out of five ink cartridges were empty. You all know how overly priced ink cartridges are. I dutifully replaced said cartridges only to be told that, according to the printer, there were cartridges missing!!!Bang HeadBang HeadBang Head. I reinstalled the cartridges a couple of times with no effect. Then I rebooted the printer and it finally decided to coorporate!

What a waste of time! I refuse to buy a new printer until I see smoke coming out of the old one! I'm probably being penny wise and pound foolish! I can get a new printer for the price of the four cartridges, but I'd just have to buy more cartridges for it too.

Whine, whine, whine!!!Smile, Wink & GrinLaughLaughLaugh

Cheers!!

I have a feeling we're going to have a slight change in our weather here.

Wow, that is a fast and drastic drop.

I tried to get Kilz-2 primer on the bathroom walls today, but everything was going wrong, I was getting frustrtated, so I pulled the plug for today.

Since we are using up page 5 space, here's our weather forecast for our little section of the Great Plains:

Sunday, high of 98° to 100°.

Tuesday, high of 50°.

I have a feeling we're going to have a slight change in our weather here.

Flo, give the gang and I a Beer please and Dirk a dog treat.

Worst two days off that I can remember. I felt like doing nothing and sleepy both days. Did not do a darn thing, and there is grass to be cut and sapplings to be cut down.

Thing that is driving me nuts about my wife?

 1. She is a horder and I am sick of living this way! She said I need to throw things away in the garage, I said fine. If I am not using it I will get rid of it if you will do the same! That shut her up!

 2. Every thing is the worst it can be! We have the small ant's back in force again. While a little early no worst than normal. But she said it is the worst ever! Sigh
