All I Have to do is Dream
Wake up Little Susie
Let it be Me
Etc.
Everly Brothers were from Central City, KY ... It was on the IC line from Paducah to Louisville..... Now on the Paducah and Louisville Railroad .... Coal mining is a big industry there.
There is a memorial in Central City for the Everly Brothers.

Little Timmyound's to me, like this could lead to other thing's.
Careful, you might want to be on the Supreme Court one day.
Just a joke folks, as I slink away.
Ken there is a funny video on youtube, that reminded me of your situation. The wife walks into the barn, carrying a bucket, wearing a shirt that says "Hard work pays off". She grabs a stool and sits down behind one of the animals. Her husband comes in and says something to her. The video is in Croatian.
She carries on and tries to milk the bull. She gets kicked off the stool.
You have to be a facebookian to see this.

Ray .... Very sincere condolences to you and your family. .... I am dispatching the Chapel Car to the Diner for those who would like to pray for you.
Tinplate Toddler maxman Well, there are not going to be any good feelings until youse guys stop posting pictures of tasty looking high carbohydrate foods that us diabetics aren't even allowed to smell. OK, none of this any longer! Petra´s "German Apfelkuchen"! As you can see, I had a generous slice for dessert! I simply can´t resist when it is still warm.

Now, Now, Maxman.... You must not have been told! Virtual goodies do NOT raise Blood Sugar! I just had a huge slice of that Apfelkuchen as soon as Ulrich posted it, just took my Blood sugar and it was only 101 which was exactly what it was when I took it this morning! So eat up and enjoy!
I may have a working phone for one of my cousin's now. will try later this afternoon to let him know and have him tell his brothers and sisters what has transpired.
I'll catch up to all of you later!

.
Thank you SteveO.
I did not read the diner for about 3 weeks because the atmosphere was so tempermental, then Garry lured me back in a bit, then everything exploded.
I know some people complain about the moderation, but I welcome it. Please do whatever it takes to keep this place cleaned up.
Thanks again.

Living the dream.
Steven Otte Good morning, Diners. If anyone needs me, I'll be sweeping up all the people have left all over the floor.
Good morning, Diners.
If anyone needs me, I'll be sweeping up all the people have left all over the floor.
Well, the Diner's been cleaned up now. Looks like people need some comfort food to calm them down.
Over the weekend the wife and I went to her [XX]th high school reunion. [Actual year removed for self-protection] It was so LOUD in there! Everyone seemed to feel they had to shout to be heard over everyone else, so of course soon they did. When the DJ started up, followed by incessant drunken "WOOOOOO!!!"ing, I had to go out in the lobby.
But I got my money's worth out of the buffet. There was a veggie tray, cheese tray, nachos, wraps, meatballs, fried potstickers (which were yummy, even though I've only had 'em steamed before), a build-your-own-mini-taco bar, and for dessert, a S'mores bar with a row of Sterno cans to toast your marshmallows over. I thought that would give the marshmallows a funny taste, but they were fine. So let's all belly up to the buffet and restore our good feelings over some tasty food.
Morning folks,
Mr. Otte, yeah a lot of was thrown around this weekend.
Well I ran out of gas on the way to work this morning, but my mom came and got me so I could get some gas in a gas can, so I got to work.
Well I'm shampooing carpets I'll be back later!

LION, I seem to remember a post a while ago about the knees of him giving him trouble. Is him going to be OK going up and down the stairs so much? Or is there an elevator big enough for a full-grown LION?
