Vikings lost.
I'm sure many Canadians are just as disappointed as I am here.
82 million dollars is a lot of money.
I am not seeing 82 million dollars worth here what are you going to do though
Evening again,
Tomorrow I am going to Rods house to work on his layout.
Hopefully I'll get back to Zachary in time for the football game.
This Sunday I'm going to try to strike up a conversation with some of the kids in my Sunday School group, they don't talk much, guess it's too early in the morning.
Well next weekend it's clothes shopping for me, it's time to expand my wardrobe, I gotta get some clothes for Church, the art crawl and Halloween, this year my brother is going trick or treating again and I of course have to chaperone, well last year my "costume" was a sign that read "I love ceilings!", I was a ceiling fan, get it, this year I'm actually going to dress up a little, I'm going to be T.S. Magnum, with the reboot and everything I figure it'll be pretty recognizable, plus it's an excuse to buy an Aloha shirt and Tigers hat.
My brother wants to be Scooby-Doo, well one of us has to be the adult!
I gotta call Abeka tomorrow about doing the SAT, I'm trying to get my ducks in a row for college, I'm considering going to med school, I kinda have developed an interest in diagnostic medicine, I don't know anything for sure, I might try going my first year without a major.
TF, sad to see you leave, the door is always open.
Well that's all from me!
And here's my for the jukebox.
Steve
If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough!
Evening Diners
After last weekend's pie fight. I'm a little un-at ease here.
September 24th was a full moon. I am a firm believer a full moon does have an effect on us. We are 70% water and a full moon does have something to do with everything.
Somehow I had joined in last weekends pie fight.
At the start of it an old German friend of mine was slightly infringed upon.
Although I went to his defense I may have carried things a bit too far..... That's where the three dots came from. (erased)
To make a long story short I will not take part of this sort of thing anymore.
I have to admit I am a bit of a hypocrite. I didn't like what I saw but somehow I joined in.
Some of the things I posted and said in the pie fight were taken offensively by another forum member.
I received a PM and felt really bad that I had hurt another forum members feelings.
I lost some sleep over that.
From here on out Steve will not have to clean up the floor after me.
I will post updates to my modeling.
I will see you......Weekend Photo fun will be my thing here on out
Timmy, the BCR Loco you showed me is close but the NWP-SWP light green has more white in it.
What really threw me off was she was interested in me! I was just nice and all and she was flirting, which I didn't realize till my parents told me that's what it was! That's when I tried getting her number
People are complicated!
NWP SWPSo I got friend zoned AGAIN!
Your gonna wind up with 500 female friend's, pretty quick !
Rust...... It's a good thing !
Well, I've been talking to Malory and she's in a relationship, but she would like to be friends, so I guess I can just be friends with her.
So I got friend zoned AGAIN!
Top of page drinks are on me.
Howdy ..
MLC ... thanks for sharing videos.
Steve O ... I just received November MR. It looks like yet another great issue. ... Tony Koester’s column is a good one, and is applicable to the forum. Tony talks about senior model railroaders being mentors to young model railroaders. It is good to pass knowledge to the next generations.
I have not yet read other articles, I am very interested in the article on open auto racks of the 1960’s and early 1970’s. In the 1970’s , I was in the automotive marketing department of GTW RR in Michigan. I was a business analyst and was involved with economic studies of alternative designs for enclosing the railcars that hauled vehicles . When I get a chance, I’ll do a thread in the prototype info section. I have a few old photos and some experiences to share. ... Maybe I’ll have time in a few days.
Everybody.... let’s plan ahead for the October Diner to avoid problems and surprises. Who will start the October thread? What time will it be started? Where will we visit ? ..... please tell us your thoughts . Thanks

Evening diners,
Finally, FINALLY got the mower fixed!
No I just gotta keep my 87 y/o grandpa off it, he's blind in one eye and can't see out the other, so he hits EVERYTHING.
I had to replace all the spindles, then tighten up the idler pulleys and balance the blades.
Flo, give the gang and I a , Steve O, Ulrich, Rick and Steven what they like.
Steve O Point taken, but I never threaned to hurt my wife or daughter. Just that I might shop for something I use to carry when I was in the Army. Thanks for doing your job.
LCM No food fight this time. Steve O just had to clean up some post.
Wife Front Nothing really to report because she did all most nothing today. Mainly layed around watching a Judge show on tv that ever network had running.
Speaking about Stupid Judge Shows. While Sue was in the hospital she had Judge Judy on. Remember she was on drugs! Anyway one guy was sueing the other guy for $3,000 he loaned him and never paid him back. The defendent told the judge He never loaned me $3,000.00 but gave me $3,000.00 in pot to sale! Judge asked what happen to the pot? Defendent said he and the guy that gave it to him smoked it togather! Never heard the out come, the darn surgen came in.
Later, Ken
I hate Rust
Here is another video from KY not far from my house. +
The last video was a video I made as a spec show to see if we could sell it. I am not the host just everything else. It is not in KY but in IL our close neighbor to the north.
NWP SWPA coworker was telling me he used to work at the Hut and the drivers made about 60 bucks in tips a night.
Mike
Mlc, I think you made it in just in time for it, the throwers are warming up now!
I'm just kidding.
Did I miss another pie fight?
And BigDaddy, I'm taking the political references out of your post, too. Complain about medical expenses all you want, but when you get into government health policy, that's forbidden territory.
--Steven Otte, Model Railroader senior associate editorsotte@kalmbach.com
Ken, I removed the threat of violence from your post. Even if you did mean it as a joke, we don't make jokes like that on this Forum.
Good morning.
Thank you, Ulrich and Petra, for the delicious quiche. We have an overabundance of duck eggs so a tasty quiche will be in our near future, too.
I do like a few bits of spinach in mine — I guess it stops being Quiche Lorraine, then, but I'm pretty far removed from France, anyway.

Looks like those fun-loving guys from Pittsburgh are still haming it up!

Lunchtime!
I know I promised not to bring any food along anymore, but I am sorry - I just can´t keep my promise!
Petra made one of my favorites today - we had Quiche Lorraine for lunch! Yummy!
Here is the recipe!
Happy times!

Little Timmy ... I wonder how many hearse passengers are able to sue after the trip is complete ....
A coworker was telling me he used to work at the Hut and the drivers made about 60 bucks in tips a night.
It's not for another 4 months though anyways.
Evening Diners,
NWP SWP I'm applying to papa johns and pizza Hut to see if I can get a job as a deliver driver.
I'm applying to papa johns and pizza Hut to see if I can get a job as a deliver driver.
Something to remember that people will not tip you to deliver pizza. Although it says tip your driver because tax and delivery charge doesn't count. I seen drivers willing to give me change back that is also their tip.
So don't get disappointed if you're short changed.

Evening all....
I pulled so hard on the diner's door's last night, that I think I pulled my Thumb out of joint..... What give's ??? I'm hungry !!! Let me in !!!
NWP SWPI'm applying to papa johns and pizza Hut to see if I can get a job as a deliver driver.
You should know, that Insurance people will jack up your monthly premium, if you use your car for "Business" purposes.
If you do get a delivery job, look into an "Umbrella policy". I had to do that, when I used my Hearse as a Limo. Yea... my insurance went up a little... but I was covered for One Million Dollar's.... per passenger. ( My Hearse was set up for Eight passenger's") So Eight Million for one accident was a possability. You "may" think that $1,000,000 is a lot. When Medical bills get added up..... A Milion may not cover it !
cudaken I should have been a Monk!
Br. Elias, aka Broadway Lion can fix you up.
Toby, the dirty beagle/coonhound has inflammatory bowel disease and we just put in an order for $300 of meds. My wife is always very concerned about money and how much we have spent on the dog and her breast cancer. Since she has her own checking account I had no idea what we have spent.
I use Quicken, which keeps track of all our expenses, just never looked. We have spent close to $12,000 on uncovered medical expenses, mostly hers. She then asked "does that include insurance?" No. How about another $12K?

Yesterday I did 8 situps, I don't know why but I did, well I realize just how out of shape I am, so I'm going to have to start working out.
Tomorrow I gotta get the spindles for the lawn mower.
My KCS gondola ran well at the club, it derailed in a few spots so I have to figure out what is causing it. I might change the middle axles to 33 inch wheels to allow more clearance.
We've got a new member!
I think I already went over that.
My truck gets less gas mileage since I changed the oil?
I'll be back.
Eveing Diners
Flo, give the gang a and I will have a IV Drip of Crown Royal!
God I can't win, heck I cannot be even be sort of right between my daughter and wife!
Before my wife knee was replaced my daughter was on my side about the junk my wife ate. Her last A1C was 8.6! Now I am the Food Natzi because I wanting the wife to eat better! In the last 14 days by wifes best GL was 116. But her 14 and 30 day avg has been 174! That would be a 8.4 A1C! She is giving the wife candy bars on the side?
Sparkie the American Eskimo has IBS and has to eat low fat dog food. Sharon just had to put her dog down named Jack that all so had IBS. I will be dang, she gave Sparkie a French Fry because he won't live fore ever! Wife knows better, if she eats bad food well she should knows what could happen. Sparkie on the other hand, well he's a dog!
Bright side of the day. Wife walked about 300 feet on her walker in the street. Got in and out of the house on her own. Plus she walked about 20 feet with out the walker, just blanced her self on the kitchen counter.
Ray, where can I buy the book All about Woman you posted about?
Trains and Car's are easy, woman, I should have been a Monk!

Afternoon diners,
I'm worn out mentally, but this week's gonna be good, I'm going to have about 50 hrs! So I should have a pretty respectable paycheck!
OK I just tried to apply, I gotta be 18 and have a license for 6 months first.
I'll be back later.
Afternoon folks!
I see we are back on-line here at the coffeeshop. That is great as virtual food is much less fattening than the real thing!
My personal thanks to all of you who sent your thoughts, prayer's, and condolences to me and to my family on the loss of my sister. Please know it was very much appreciated. You folks remain a great bunch of train folks to hang around with!
This morning I woke up to having a few emails about the family schedule for the stuff to come for my sister. Also got a copy of her obituary that I will send to the Canandaigua paper. That is where the family grew up and there are many people there who remember Janice.
I need to get back to work on the Constitution and By-laws for the NMRA Division here, planning the next Division Meet, and finishing trying to figure out a hopelessly screwed up mambership list from National once again.....
Catch you all later!

We'll get there sooner or later!
Morning All!
Glad to see everything is back online.
Hobby Front: Shocked myself a bit last night. I finally got all the tan foam chopped down to the size that I want. In the process, I discovered that I have somewhere around 225-250 cu inches of foam! I think I made too much but it's better to have too much than it is to have not enough. (It is contained in a bucket that previously held 12 lb of bakery icing and the bucket is nearly full.) I still have a bit of green to grind further. (Not as much as the tan, however.)
The new layout is progressing slowly. Found a few more pieces of wire that I used to get some of the wiring done. Also got the crossings previously mentioned almost done. (One needs trimmed for clearances and then painted and the other needs the final row of ties installed then the other things mentioned for the first one.
