I would like (notice I'm playing by the rules here) a EL style SDP45 in both N and HO scale.

I would like a Denver and Salt Lake 2-6-6-0 with the small vanderbuilt tender. A perfect size to look good on a model railroad, and a handsome little brute of a steam locomotive.

I would sure like to see the following:

:Wisconsin Central/Soo Line GP35 w/o dynamic brakes
:Wisconsin Central/Missouri Pacific GP35M

I'm sure I could come up with a few more, but I dont know if they have made them. I'd like to see just about everything on the WC roster made...correctley! The Athern SD45 for WC, the nose is wrong, the Proto 2000 GP30 for WC, the stripping on the back is wrong, the only manufacture that had everything correct on a WC was Overland Brass with the SDL-39 and the F-45.

Also a high nose SD45 as run by the N&W and the Southern RR, preferably by Proto2K

PRR Q-2 4-4-6-4, and I would dearly love to see BLI do it. I own a total of seven of BLI's locomotives, and knock on wood, I have nothing but good to say about the locomotives and the company. The only problem I've had was that one of my N&W A's arrived with a detached crosshead guide, and BLI paid for return shipping and had a replacement back to me ten days after the broken unit was picked up by UPS.

Modular railroading at its best!
If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!

Okay, AggroJones, I am obeying the rules. Only one locomotive, that has not been produced, announced, and so on.

I like HO, so that's what I will list.

First, I was planning on listing B&O's 4-4-4-4 duplex, watertube, George H. Emerson, but that was imported in the seventies, I think.

Then, I was thinking about Pennsy's S2 Turbine, but, Challenger Imports is going to release that.

Then it hit me...

THE ACE3000!
That would be a fine addition to any roster!

Cant figure out why N scale manufacturers have not as of yet produced an SW1. This diesel was owned by a large number of popular railroads and it had a life span of many modeling periods. Its time for another quality N scale switcher. Hope to see it soon.

HO scale FL-9 is my first choice.
If MU's can be called a locomotive, then add ex NYC ACMU's to the list.

Now I hear it may be on indefinite hold (based on what one e-vendor posted on his site a couple of days ago). [:(]

Need more small post 1900- N scale steam. I'm waiting to see what the announced 2-6-0 and 4-4-0 from Model Power will look like.

The photos I've seen on one dealer's site were of Bachmann's HO model, which is a Baldwin 4-6-0 1905 to 1910 with a quote from Bachmann that their N scale model would be the same. Would fit in well in my plans. Hope the delay won't be too long.

I vote for the DM&IR M-4 2-8-8-4.

To Picatso: BLI has announced a Santa Fe 2-10-2 for this Winter. HO scale. I don't know if that's your scale or not, but I can hardly wait. I don't know the class #I think 3700, but it's the one that used to work in California on the Tehachapi grade. If BLI gets the sound right, it will probably be the noisiest steam loco ever produced. The prototype sounded like a whole bevy of Thompson machine-guns when it attacked the hill.

How about the (HO)Eurostar, TGV, the ICE. Bachmann did the TGV in N a long time ago, and Marklin has the ICE in Z. I think Trix has the ICE in N also. How about some of those garratts. Raymond Lowy's 6-4-4-6. The German DB 05 003 Streamlined Cabforward. Pennsy's S-2 6-8-8 turbine. Up's 4-12-2 class 9000s, and Stalin's 2-14-4.

A good running ERIE Berkshire. I believe the ERIE was the only railroad to run that type of Berk. I have two older brass models that do not run well at all. I'm hoping someone produces a good looker and a good runner.

Also, I"d like to have an available GE C-36-7, Never been done in plastic to my knowledge, It"s a brutish looking locomotive, and I would love to have some on my layout, in UP paint, of course.
