I'll vote for the HO scale SDL-39. 3 railroads used it: Milwaukee Road, Soo Line, and Wisconsin Central. If Kato can do the SD70M flared version for only two roads, how about somebody doing this particular locomotive?

I'll cast my vote for an East Broad Top HOn3 2-8-2 mikado, any one of them. It'll never happen though, manufacturers think the D&RGW was the only narrow gauge line that ever existed. Also probably wouldn't be enough demand for them.

Modeling in Nscale, I would like to see a first and second generation cab foward locomotives, never seen in plastic in N scale

Not that I wouldn't mind having either one, but modeling one of a kinds like that just will NEVER happen in plastic. At least if they made the T-1 they could sell to modelers of all eras - original freight scheme for people like me, Ramble schemes for people moving up to the early 60's, the (for shame!) Chessie Steam Special for the 70's, American Freedom Train #1 for just about ANYONE on the East Coast, and as it appears today on the R&N (shame it's not in running condition just now). That wide appeal probably accounts for the Reading T-1 being the single most wanted on the list Terry ran in the editorial last year. Broadway Limited is probably the most likely to do one since they have the 4-8-4 mechanism already. But there are two problems. One is they got over enthusiastic their first year and must have taken quite a loss clearing out the overstock. Second is that same old bugaboo to this industry, MTH. Mike did all the T-1 variations both as a sub to Lionel and on his own. Should BLI run a T-1, who knows what might happen.
Which brings up another point - why MTH felt compelled to do a PRR K4 as their first HO when BLI ALREADY had theirs on the books, instead MTH shoudl have done a Reading T-1 since they already surely have the plans worked up.

I'll second Bikerraypa's PRR 2-8-0 and add a vote for a Pennsy Decapod preferably by P2K, with DCC and sound, thank you. Also BLI could upgrade their heavy mike with an Elesco feedwater heater. Then their Erie versions would be correct, and I would buy one or two.

Yours and mine close enough are way far apart. I do say AT&SF 2900 class. In my opion the 3700 class look wimpy in comparison.

For that mater I hope someone does all the Santa Fe Big Three 2900 4-8-4, 3400 4-6-4 (even the brass ones aren't that good), and 5000 series 2-10-4.

To me, brass may as well not even exist.

I will put another suggestion in the hat, the NKP 4-6-4, althou its been in brass, its hard to find, elephant ears and all.

LIfe-Like has done locos with various interchangeable parts and boilers, they could research a good 4-6-4 not as popular as the NYC 4-6-4 and go with it and make a few other line 4-6-4's and include the NKP 4-6-4 with it.
