*sniff* Jordans being mean *sob*
Atleast I thought you were Jordan, you might be Alex 1, or Bob, or Chinatown
Yea, who knows when I will get around to that second module with all the funds going to G scale. Except for that B&M 2-8-0 I'll be bashing, and BLI 4-6-2 I'm getting, and Spectrum NYC Coaches... I think I can stop there.

Welding? Did somebody say welding?
I have a job here in Hopkinsville, KY at a place called H&J's Welding and Salvage. Basically, I get paid $6 an hour (minimum wage in Kentucky is $5.83 at the moment) to weld trailers together, wash the occasional Semi truck, ride a 4-wheeler around, and drive a tractor all day.
The other day I actually had my boss's grandaughter (she's a Junior at my high school's cross-town rival, Christian County High ) come up to me as I was loading a stack of sheet metal with the tractor's forklift attachment (you're all going to laugh at me for this, but..) and yell "Your tractor's sexy!" Did I mention that I love my job?
Plus, I am a senior and I co-op, which means I get out of school once half the day is over and go straight to work. That means more hours and more pay, which makes me a happy railroader!

Well, this seems interesting enough, so I thought I would join in and see how things are going.
The name is James and I will be 19 in one month. I model the Milwaukee Road, Hard to tell huh... I model the year 1952. The electrics where in there prime and the passenger trains were rolling right along.
All of my GEs and EMDs sit in wait for there next task on the line.
Something new into town. A Milwaukee Road Bipolar comes into town to get it's numbering and lettering finished at the shops.
And I am now modeling something a little new.
The Twin Cities and Western railroad is a shortline that runs in Southern Minnesota. My Dad worked for them for awhile and I have just started modeling the railroad.
This is what the locomotive was when I had finished kitbashing the fan configuration and all of the components for a catepillar equiped locomotive. This was originally a GP35. When I was done painting it and decalling it, this is what it looks like.
Twin Cities & Western GP30C #4302.
Enjoy. More to come!
James
Nice Locos!
I don't think U boats(the locomotives that is) existed in 1952, but as long as your havin' fun!
No they didn't... but hey.... The passenger trains I want did, so... everything else exsists around the passenger trains. I just reserved the Milwaukee Road Depot and two sheds from Walthers. So you see that the passenger trains are important.. The freight comes second... just right now freight comes first.
Wow, lots of stuff posted overnight! Neat photos everybody.
I've done a little bit of modeling lately, but no photos (yet). I installed a new fence on my module, as well as some power poles and "wires" that look like they are the powerlines for the turntable. I've got a few other projects to go yet, and I've got about a month before the next show. I want to have quite a few of the details on by that point, and if I keep going at the pace I have lately I will.

Wow... Some of those other states minimum wages are bad... Ours is around $7 an hour.
Alex #2 I think? ah you know who I'm talking about.: I like the pictures. You need a second module... The one can't be fun at all by itself.

well this hasn't been posted in for a while. So I guess I'll bruch off the dust and give it another shot.
Have any of you guys done any work? Some of you may know I've been working on my Diorama.
Also some of my know that I did get a WC SD45. On monday I should be getting 2 more.
Infact I did a little run on it in my basement.
WC 3005 leads to local into town today. The middel locomotive (6588) will split off and head upthe former MILW branch. The crew will also split up the train so about half goes uo with 6588, and the other half goes with 3005.
After the train got split up and cleared, a rerouted BN coal with a WC SD45 come. Leading it is Oakway leasing SD60.
Well I go home because no trains where coming. Then I heard on the scanner the dispatcher gave 6588 a warrent to proceed to the juction. So I head out with ym camera and find her sitting on the old interchnage.
After a half an hour of waiting I hear the horn of 5547 come down. She stops right before the interchnage.
5547 pulls up beyond the switch so the brake man can switch the track and 5547 can join with 6588.
Here's the switch man giving 5547 the clear.
Here's 5547 al ready with 6588 to head out of the interchange.
Later 5547 and 6588 would hook up with 3005, then they would take 6588s train and connect it with there train and head out.
A couple times I tried to find this thread... It disapeared. What page did you find it on?

Ditto. But I post alot of pictures and such to keep the thread fresh. No one seems to reply to this thread that much any more. I would like to see some of SD60M's pictures, and other people pictures of there layouts. It gets kind of old seeing my pictures all the time.
