You like pictures of blue foam, random junk, some buildings, tracks, and maybe some trains?

I have a couple videos in my Youtube page of my layout. Search Hyce777 and it should take you there.

Oh and, just BTW for those that don't know, there is a forum for teen railfans... NTRES. At this time I don't have a link, I'll get it in a bit later.

Lol well right now I could give you some good construction pics of a mountain being revamped and I'll actually try to post them, but I've got slow internet and it hasn't been dealing with pictures good lately. But I will try and post on the page frequently to keep it from disappearing into the abyss of old posts...

Looks like you've failed. LOL. Wink [;)] Laugh [(-D]

Oh man, I had to dig around for this post. Geez last post was November. Let's dust this off, and hopefuly get some of the old guys back. If they still even roam around the forums!

Alrighty, my last post was back in November. Back then I was just getting the 2 more WC SD45s. I also see that my diorama was finsihed.

To Update my self with the thread. Right now I have 3 WC SD45s, an ATSF SD45, a WC GP40, a WC SD35, and a WC SD40.

I have started a new diorama of a junction.

I have a new Camera. A 7.1 MP Kodak.

I will post some pictures later. I want to get this thread started back up.

Picture Time- Here are my advances int he past few months...

(ya gotta have some fun atleast once in awhile)

Oops

Amazing Crash on Club Modular- My friend was running the pig train, and we noticed he lost his caboose over on the other end. So we try to push through the crowd to get to the caboose, and find the trailers, and cars, strewn about a module, witht he last car before the caboose (lumbr car) thrownh off as well. So we take a few seconds to stare in amaZement, until my RDC barrels into a trailer lieing perpendicular to oncoming traffic on the inner track. RDC flies into trailer, and flips onto its side, trailer wasn't moved much. It was pretty amusing. Then we brought int he ATSF big hook!

Wow, what a wreck. One of my friends told me he smashed into a coal train with his ATSF C40-8W. But there's more, because it was on a double track some of the coal cars derailed a manifest going to oppsite direction. I think, lol.

How did you manage to get that locomootive in the water with out dammageing it?

Alright here's my diorama. I'm working on the roads right now. It's now time to Build the grade crossing. Then I'll finish up the roads.

Well, one my first night of the local MR club, me and another person messed up. We were to busy talking we weren't watching our trains. Needless to say our trains hit head-on.

My train: 2 BN GP9s (P2K), around 20 covered hoppers

Other train: ATSF F7 ABBA set (athearn, all but one powered, one's a dummy with sound) pulling around 30 reefers.

Luckily nothing broke, as the trains coupled, and I was going really slow, he was going moderately fast.

I'm going agian once class lets out.

I haven't boughen anything yet, since I had to et car parts, and my father forgot his deal. (I'd pay him back for it in the summer when I get more hours at work) So I burned around 400 on parts. (bumper, headlights, marker lights, K-member, and control arms). Unfortuanelt I'm wathcing two BN GP20s and a GP35, but I won't be able to buy anything for a while. (including some frames I'm wanting to use for a later project)

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

I'll bite.

I'm 17 and, you can call me Ozark (I'm not big on letting my name float around the internet.)

I have a 11'x9' layout that goes around the walls of my room. In fact, it takes up most of my room! the time frame is 1976-1980ish. I model the Ozark Belt Railroad, a fictional, 261 mile shortline running through Missouri and Arkansas. I'll post photos later.

Welcome Packer and Ozark.

Packer, I haven't busted my budget, and I hope I don't, but I've gotten close.

Ozark, that's a nice size layout. Can't wait to see pictures.

Might as well jump in the fun. I'm 19, so I can only stay in this club for another year. ;) I don't have a layout up yet (I've been waiting 2 years and counting for the designated space to get cleared out), but it's just as well as I change my plan at least twice a year. I'm planning to model a mostly-fictional branch of the Wisconsin & Southern in the present day.

Nice to (sort of) meet the rest of you!

Welcome. You don't have to leave when you turn 20, you can stay here as long as you wish. I know how you feel. The new room I want to move into is still full of junk. I've been waiting a while for it to get cleaned out too.

P.S. How do I get an absolutely free website to post photos and videos like these?

I use both Photobucket (mainly personal stuff/vacations) and Railimages (MRR stuff) for photos.  If you click the link in my sig, you can see some of the pics that I've taken of myrailroad stuff (both fair quality and poor quality).

Here are the links:

Photobucket http://www.photobucket.com

railimages http://www.trainboard.com/railimages

Both are free, but if push comes to shove, I believe that you can purchase more space from photobucket if you need to (usually, the purchased album also comes with larger file size permissions and other things).

Just curious:  Am I the only one here in this generation who handlays their track?

I'm getting a little tired of typing this. I'm a Packers fan all because of a card I had when i was like 4 or 5. It was shiny Brett Favre card. I think i was also impressed by Brett Favre's toughness, and I've grown up loving the Packers. Nobody in my family is a Packer fanatic (though my 12 yr. old sister is a colts fanatic.)

Hey guys. I'm pretty far removed from my teenage years, but I'm gonna stick up for Sawyer here.

I'm a transplanted queens fan from Mn. My wife(born/raised in Wisc.) had it in our wedding vows I'd become  a Packers fan. the first Xmas gift from her folks was a Packers hat/sweatshirt.I recited said vows in front of 350 people and never looked back. For once I had a team that makes me proud on AND off the field. When I called my wife to tell her Brett retired, she CRIED(me ,too)!!!!! You have to BE a Packers fan to UNDERSTAND that.

The wife can (and has, for bar bets) recited every coach and QB we've had since day 1.

BTW, Sawyer ,I just now heard on the local news that the Pack is retiring his jersey.

So there!Smile [:)]

I'm Anthony, 15 yrs old

I model the BNSF in the summer of 1998 in kansas.

I am building a new 5x16 layout that better represents prototypical operations in the area, taking grain from the co-ops to a MASSIVE grain elevator I made out of two walthers kits.

i'll keep up with picts as soon as i get money :)

That's right, you have to be a Packers fan to understand what Favre meant to the organization. He was our star quarterback for a good while, we stuck with him through thick and thin, and, BOY, you just couldn't get him out of the game. My Language Arts teacher has some relatives in Wisconsin, and they sent her some newspaper clippings. I read that one time, when they were playing the Steelers, he got hit hard by three defensemen at the same time, went to the sideline coughing up blood, and what do you think that crazy boy does? Comes back in and throws a 1 yard TD pass. It figures that they have retired the 4, it has meant so much to Packers fans, they should produce it forever.

Well, here's my 4x8 layout. It is a freelanced RR called the Southeastern Continental Rwy., or the SEC. There will be an automotive assembly plant and some other industries. I will answer any questions you have about it. *Note*: the cardboard structure is just there so I can get a feel for my auto plant.

Please enjoy.
