Haven't seen a Super Bowl ad yet that would get an A+. The dirty dog was pretty good, but not as good as the first Dalmation ad.
Marty, the camera lens are fogging over. Do you guys spit on them like we do on the inside of a diver's mask to keep the fog off?

Can't stand in the way of progress!!!!!
Prince's set was pretty impressive. A couple of the numbers were a bit rushed though.

Nope. They have a coating but with the rain and all they are just getting a soaking. A lot of the fog could be on the inside of the lens and the only thing it can do there is go away on it's own. Good luck in that dampness.
BTW I did come up to see halftime. IMO one of the best in years. Prince was impressive.

And no wardrobe malfunctions!

I got a kick out of the guys slapping each other in the face !! Thought of The Three Stooges right away !!
Thanks, John

So many roads, so little time.
Dewey Trogdon wrote:Also joined in halftime viewing and enjoyed the Tina Turner-like dancers. Which one was "Prince"?
The guy singing and playing guitar.

I'll vote with John.
Laz may have to buy this for himself as a consolation prize.

Just up his alley.
Chief: Go PACK! Hubby was so happy he took me out for dinner after that game Sat. night. Today while he was out he bought me an early Valentines gift...a new soldering gun and some really good wire strippers. Then, he trimmed the Fastrack to fit my new MTH bridge. He knows the way to my heart for sure!
What evah are we gonna do 'bout all them Yanks making fun of us down heah! Oh, and when you and Dennis had the fish, hushpups, did you add some cheese to those grits? Perfect with fish!!
LAZ: Made a big pot of chili - used deer-meat of course! Yummmm! Would send you some but it'd probably get confiscated.
Yep, looking for more of that super chilled air heading down from the northwest. BRRR! I know that it's much colder north of us, but hey, we're not used to that south of the Mason-Dixon! Have a good week y'all!
OK So somebody from the North has to say it:

MartE - we have been at 5 deg for several hours now, over 100 schools have already posted they will be closed tomorrow!.
Schools must stay open...when I was kid we walked to school in shorts and barefeet up hills both way is -5 degr....oh crap never mind!
BTW 1" of rain is = to about 10" of snow.
Lisa-n-NC You might have missed it, by now it's probably pages back. I'm in Snowhio!!! Toledo, home of (fortunately) inaccurate weather forcasters!!!
This is about all of the snow we've had. It all came down last Sunday. The 1 - 2 inches took about 18 hours to accumulate.
Just love them Cheese Grits Lisa. Haven't seen one second of the super bowl, went to evening church where we had The Annie Moses Band do a concert....delightful, then came home and per the daughters request, we are watching Marry Poppins. Don't mind missing the super bowl, time spent with the kids is so much more precious. Hope y'all have a good night and a great rest of the week.

BUCKEYE, I hope the wind here is about 30-40 miles an hour. Took the dog for a walk at half time and she didn't want to go far only a quarter mile.

Laz57,
I really like my K-Line F7 ABA set. I bought it January 2006.
The F7s have K-Line cruise control, directional headlights, marker lights that change colors based on direction, and smoke in all three units. Both A's are powered with two motors in each, tethers run through the diaphrams and are thus invisible and easier to get to. The neatest feature is they include a separate fixed pilot and scale coupler for the front end...very cool looking.
I dont think the earlier f3s have cruise control or as much detail as the F7s. I payed about $475 for the ABA set. I think they are the most detailed F's made in O gauge.
Evenin' All.
Since most of you are freezing your butts off I'll be nice and not say how sunny and warm it was today.
Still trying to finish up the corner changes on the ceiling track. When I put down the foam roadbed on the curves I pulled the outside edge to tite so even with the kerf cuts it was still puckering on the inside edge. Pulled up the corner foam and re-layed in short sections with the appropriate angle cuts on the ends, should have done this in the first place guess I had a senior moment. Unfortunately about a third of the way around the track with the hot melt glue and my gun bites the dust. The part that is done is well secured and WILL NOT move. Most of the new wiring is down with the exception of the power/TMCC shelf that is in the closet, put drawer glides on it tonite so it will be easier to access to power-up.
Laz, Speaking as a Charger fan, "I feel your pain".
I saw a little bit of the game, the hyped commercials sure didn't live up to years past. As far as the half time entertainment, didn't watch. Never been a fan his.

Good morning, from New England. It's cold here today and will be for the entire week. Spring training is just around the corner though, and soon, reports from sunny Florida will be shown on the evening news. I'll bet you guys didn't know that I played a season and change for the Dodgers 20 years ago. I still miss playing.
Aside from cleaning the house, I was a lazy son of a gun this weekend. I did manage to get 3 of my post war whistle tenders working. Huge satisfaction there!
Didn't end up coming in to work, but will pay for it today. Stacks of work under my door first thing this morning. I'm not going to see mych of you guys today.

Good morning everyone,
I enjoyed watching the (sorry Laz) Colts win last nite. I was over a friends house, so I enjoyed it with fellow Colts fans.
Well, I am about to run out the door for school. I hope everyone has a good day.
