JELECTRIC nice truck, a little to steep for me in price but it is cool.  Maybe at YORK if they are selling some there.

  SNOWING, got about 8 inches on the ground, they say we might get up to 14-16?

Maybe no gun show tomorrow, but if its open Sunday I'll go.

God bless you and your family, Colin.  I pray He takes good care of your grandparents and all your family, now and forever.  RT - very cool pic!  Well, got the new DVR cable box.  Guess what, the tv guide is messed up.  I'm not calling them tonight, because last time they tried to fix the DVR box online it stopped working (last night) and we were only able to watch about 10 channels.  I guess I'll call them on Sunday and tell them I want a guy to come out and fix it right.  They have a splitter on the cable in the basement with a line to the tv and one to my computer - maybe the problem is in there somewhere?

Guess what rolled into town today.

John, Athern calls these 1/50 scale, so actually should be a little small.  With a 1/4" scale rule 1/48 the box is about 8'-4", which seems a little wide.  18' long is OK.  Height is 12'-3" which might be a little tall.

Hello All!   Colin- So sorry about your Grandmom. You sure have had plenty of bad news lately. Like the other's have said. Keep your Chin up & we're here for you also. Cough,Cough,Cough!  I feel like I'm in JT Megasteams research laboratory as my Mother & Nephew who is here for an overnight Just made some Sticky Buns using Cinnamon & Dough. So far, there is a Beautiful Blue Haze of smoke emanating from the Kitchen & now it is all over the House. Cough! Maybe they just discovered a new Smoke Smell for JT ?  Smells like an old Loretta Lockhorn recipe to Me LOL! I think what they made should be called:"Smokey Buns" instead. If Bruce was here he would mistake the Blue Smoke for a Corvair The Smoke is so bad I could send smoke signals & Spanky could see them. Hey! I know what they did- They found a new cure for Mosquitos that come around in the summer. Too bad it is sooo cold out side now. What a waste of fine blue smoke! Thank you guys so much. Right now, I am enjoying the CSI:Miami marathon on A&E. There are 3 episodes tonight. The first one is good so far. I got in the door earlier in the evening from a friends house, where we were playing a WWII multiplayer game, Call of Duty 3 with my XBOX360, and my friends XBOX360. We split teams up, and used 2 big screen TVs, and it was a great few rounds today. We do it a lot. I'll be checking in a lot more. I haven't been around lately because I've been hit with a lot of school work lately.

Instead of snow here, we have about 3 inches of sleet on the ground. All of the schools got out early, but our school was already on a half day schedule.

Well, I just got some bad news a few minutes ago..........my grandmom may have had a stroke. This is the worst news to get at this time, especially since I found out that my grandpop has prostate cancer a few weeks ago. This month really hasn't been good. Can you guys pray for her?

You sure have had a tough round of news as of late!  All I can tell you is it does get better, things may look bleek right now, but it will pass.  You and your family have been in our prayers for some time, and will continue to be in them for the foreseeable future.  I've been wondering where you've been how you and your family are doing.  Thanks for the update, wish it could have been better news.  We are all here for you and your family, don't ever forget it!

Bear down little buck!  It is when we need him most that the Good Lord sees fit to pick us up and carry us, trust in Him and He will never lead you astray.

colin the good lord has his reasons it may hurt us but in the end it for some reason and be happy for the times you have had with them. Just be concern but also think of the good times. Will keep you and them in our prayers here at home front. All May turn out to be okay yet so don't give up either. New medicines in a lot of cases a stroke isn't as damaging as it use to be. She may be fine with a little therapy.

not much happening here today very wet and soggy rain high about 45 today that was it after almost 80 yesterday lol.

Evenin' boys.  Cold and soggy here in the Mid-Atlantic.  Just got home a little while ago (had a tadpole swimming in my patent leather shoe), only to find almost 2 inches of water under the layout in the basement.  Pump (made in OHIO) got stuck.  Had to swab the deck for an hour.  Don't anyone tell Mrs. fifedog I used the good pink towels to expedite things...

I could show the Chief the fishing center right below the famous ROCKVILLE BRIDGE, but I'm not sure if my privileges there would be revoked...

I guess I could buy one and use it as a boat anchor, but then again I don't own a boat so I guess that's out of the question too... Guess I could buy one and send it to Buckeye, seeing how he is coming down to knock the hole in the foundation for the basement easement...

But then again I could just save my money and use it to buy train stuff at York!  Yeah that's the ticket!  Train stuff!  Sorry Buckeye you've been trumped by trains!

Brent, you have missed my point entirely.  You only need to tell the Chief that you are thinking about a boat battery charger and the wine and food should flow very freely at your big luncheon party.   NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.    You will still have bucks for York!!!  What a great plan for you and all of my buddies in PA.

Or you can tell him, that you heard that Buckeye is going to be buying a huge boat that needs at least four on-board chargers.  That should be good for at least one free beer.

Not all of their A-B-A sets feature 2 powered A-Units.  It depends on the set. For example, my Rugged Rails F3 A-A set only has 1 powered A-Unit, but that A-Unit does have two motors.  Just be careful when you are looking at these things (from any manufacturer)!

I just looked at a MTH B&O diesel at the LHS.  Both of the A units have two motors, and both smoke.  It also works on 031 curves and has railsounds.   I know there was some discussion if both A units were powered on some topic, and they are.  It's a very nice piece, but it's also $700 for an A-B-A unit.
