So many roads, so little time.
Off to Houston. Hope all are having a great day. Thoughts and prayers for those in need. Sitting in the CLT airport waiting for my connection. Didn't see Chief here I guess Boise has to deal with him.
Take care!

GO SMOKE !!

Very nice!! Love the Home Depot rolling stock, great stuff.
This is the other car on e-bay I didn't bid on, but now I kind of wish I did !! They were custom painted for some HD opening, somewhere !!
Dennis : did you try scraping or scrathing that up before soldering ? That sometimes is what they need.
Good afternoon everyone.
It has been a good day so far. Went to early church today and we had some folks visit from Ohio and another family from Arizona. They saw the movie and wanted to come for a service. I think they were heading to the warm temps in Florida and stopped on the way. The Ohio folks actually seemed...can I say it...Normal . Then we went to Sunday dinner and came home. Wife took daughter to mall and my son and I went to the train room and worked on the layout.
Did have one problem with wiring, for some reason, I could not get solder to stick to tab under piece of Fastrack. This is the first time I have had this problem, all the other track took solder very easily, this piece, no go. Tried different tin mixes, etc, nothing worked. Finally, I just crimped a connector on the wire and just mounted it in place.
Anyway, I hope to catch up with y'all later. Have to get ready for evening church. Hope you have a wonderful week.

Afternoon,
I think my eyes are going, or maybe the 24 year old TV needs replacing. This is the one in my train/computer room. I can't read the car numbers on the band that scrolls across the top of the screen. Can just make out names. BTW Tony just fell into 17th place.
Take care,
Just lost my whole post, going to take some pics for SFP.

Mornin' all...
Fife, I figured you would offer, problem is I just put it on layaway so I wouldn't be tempted to set up a layout again, plus all those huge boxes don't have a home right now. I'll be picking them up either just before or just after the move. Also put one of those nice firehouses on layaway too! Anyhoo... had our first showing today! One more this afternoon... Hope the house gets sold quick! No deliveries from CTT yesterday either... wonder if some Sutherner intercepted my shipment! Gotta run... I'll check back in later and post some pics!36 and still KICKIN'!Brent
Jim F - We're pretty friendly around here and would welcome your B I L!! Sounds like he may be headed toward the Charlotte area - Pretty nice place down that way - PANTHERS!! NASCAR!! Lots of nice areas for fishing! Wish him the best!

You might want to look into one of those satellite radios so you could listen to some good radio and not have to keep switching stations? They are closing the "desk" in Chicago and he will be moving his family from Naperville to either New York City (doesn't want to go there) or NORTH CAROLINA! How about working up some prayers, guys - sounds like some grim choices to be made!

Morning all,
Colin, prayers for your gandparents, how are they doing?
Reggie, prays of thanks, good job! Are you driving for a carrier?
Spent all day yesterday in class, got take home finals. I'd rather have an in class test than take home exam. Grading scale much tougher. The classes this period have been fantastic, hate to see them end in one respect, but in another,
Spent some time taking pictures with different background lighting and posted them in photo fun. I still have lots to learn!
Cool and nice out. Wish I was not at work!

Ah, a man after my own heart. Can't have the 2 or 5 winning anything though, and for that matter same for the 12, 24, or 48.
fifedog wrote:Blueberryhill - who are you picking to win today. 2 car has looked stout all weekend at the track, but I'm really pulling for the 43!!!!!

One word.....20
Good Morning from the Bluegrass
Well its 25 degress, clear with a NW wind around 4 mph, expected to reach 45 and partly cloudy today, which will be a nice change since we don't need any more rain. My NCAA tourney bracket is shot all to pieces, I think I'm hitting at about 53%; my wife is doing better than I am right now, and she picks by feeling . I keep telling her that she can't pick someone to loose just because she doesn't like the team, but hey who am I to say now right?! She was one of the few that actually had Duke going out in the first round, and the only reason she picked them to get beat is because she's still harboring a grudge against them for the Christian Laettner shot in the 1992 NCAA tourney against Kentucky.
Anyways, good Sunday all, busy day scheduled here, might as well get at it.
Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is a frosty 25 degrees. Looks like the sun is trying to come out. It is suppose to go up to 42 today, with some sunshine.
Today, some of us will be recovering from St. Patrick's Day. I will be taking it easy, with a few things to do, and then running trains for a few hours, this afternoon. I plan on watching the NASCAR race from Atlanta. This is going to be a busy week for us. New kitchen carpeting is coming on Friday and we have to get things ready for it. Lotsa work.
Dining Car is here early. No stops " points west ". Guess they are sleeping in today.
Y'all have a great Sunday.
Chuck
Mornin' boys. Man the refrigerator is loud, can sombody turn it down? Just coffee for me, Maam, and just keep it coming... By the way, whose Big ORANGE rig is that out front? Guess we won't be seeing Buckeye this morning. Hopefully he took that lampshade off before passing out.

HI GIZ,
REGGIE gonga on the passing of your BIG RIG license.
Well went to gun show at the FARM SHOW COMPLEX, great show over a thousand tables lots to see. Brother got a good deal on a Springfield Armory SOCOM I. He's been trying to get one for the past three years. Real hot item and he figured what the heck, you can't find these guns and we'ved tried. I picked up a 5x magnifying glass with flexable light for doing solder work on the trains. Got it for 22 bucks. Had great time, 6 of us went then went to sports bar ate wings, stroblois, and beer, while watching NCAA basketball. To bad MARYLAND got dumped, had them going all the way in the pool. Oh well maybe next year?
Have a good one.

Good evening,
Reggie, Glad to here everything is falling into place for you. Sounds like a good gig as long distance driving goes. I to have a CDL, planning to let it expire when my license comes up for renewal as I have not used it for a while. Had it when I was working as I would occasionally drive the digger/derick.
Chief, Be nice, don't ya know we arranged the bad weather in PA for this weekend so you wouldn't have to put up with it next week when you come to Harrisburg.
Colin, I see you straightened out those guys on the other thread on the F3 / F7 question.
Thanks everyone for all the prayers.
I just got back from my friends house, where we played XBOX360, and then brought out the little kids in us and played hide and go seek. It was a good night. Anyways, I walked in the door, and turned on the Speed Channel. I have to say that I jut saw the closest GT2 Class race win. Ferrari F430 vs Porsche GT2 or 3. Porsche passes the Ferrari in a turn, gets a little bit of a lead, and the Ferrari gets a little nose ahead. Porsche goes to the inside of the turn (a good place to be) and the Ferrari is now a little behind. The Porsche then goes wide, and the Ferrari comes up the inside, and they bump each other. The Ferrari then grabbed the win by a matter of feet. I was really happy, especially since I caught the end.
