Good evening all,

A late Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you!  It was a cold but sunny day in SE Indiana with the wind blowing a lot.  Congrats to Reggie on completing the training!  My wife and I went to see "Astronaut Farmer", which is a good movie.  I hope everyone had a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Congratulations Reggie!  It does seem that you have your priorities in line.  Family needs to be at the top, job next.  Remember, they are only young once and you want to be there for the growing years.  As to layout visits, you will have plenty on this side of the mason dixon line.

Hope everyone has a great night.
God Bless,

Dennis

Dropped in to wish everyone a very happy St. Patrick's Day....

Unfortunately this poor guy didn't make it around the club layout, my memory wasn't correct so the shamrock stood just a we' tad to tall. As the Cub fans always say "There's always next year".

Now to put on some coffee so I can go back and catch up on the 100 or so pages I think I missed.

hey to all and i hope is well with everyone. my prayers go out to all that need them and who will need them in the near future. god bless.

it has been a long grusom 2 weeks in dallas as i had to complete my training for truck driving and i finally graduated yesterday and i am officially a truck driver now. i haven't been on the site in the past week or so but i'm back now for a day in memphis as i have to get ready for my first load tomorrow at 2:00 and guys and gals am i ready for it. sorry to say that i want be making to the north and northeast as they gave me a dedicated route that only covers arkansas. tennessee, louisana, eastern texas, mississippi, northern alabama, kentucky, southern missouri, and southern illinois. they gave me this route because i was farther ahead with my driving skills and plus i will be home every other night and garaunteed the weekends. there are pros and cons to this as i will get to see my family alot more, i don't have to traval in all the bad weather, i get payed a little more starting out, and i will have the same routes all the time. now the cons is and there is only one i want get to come and see all the wonderful layouts that you guys and gals have and are willing to let me come and see. other than that all is well at the home front and i get to go and play with my trains for at least a day. then back to work. thats all for now hope all is well.

Happy St. Patty's Day!  Been a good day.  I slept later than usual and then we had to head to the park for a party for one of my 4yo's classmates.  I used to get into St. Pat's a lot more, but that was when I was in the fire dept. and prior to having  a family of my own.  I actually am half Irish and my wife is Irish/cherokee.  My great grandfather was notorious for the IRA, they called him Mad Dog O'Donovan....I won't get into the exploits, but it goes back to the 1916 Easter Rebellion.   See, rebels go way back in our family.

Got to get some lawn work done with the tractor and hopefully train work tonight.  It is warm out, but I don't think it will be too bad.  Hope Y'all in the great white north get dug out from that white stuff.  Down here, the only white on the ground is the cotton fields.

Good morning from Lower Arnold, where the men are Men and the women are glad of it!

Happy Saint Patricks Day to everyone!

It's snowing right now, but doesn't look likely to stick or be very much.  Going out tonight to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday (later this week).  Aunt and Uncle will be here, too.  My uncle Bill flew in bombers over Germany during WWII - very cool guy!

Hey Chief,
When are you going to get to our neck of the woods? If you ask Buckeye, he'll tell you how nice it is around here. There is a lot of great fishing on the lake here and I bet if you promise not to bad mouth Ohio too much Buckeye would take you out for a little fishing. Afterwards I am sure we'd find a few places for nurishment and to replenish fluids lost while working so hard to pull in the big ones.

Buffalo is about an hour and a little more from here. They were going to put in a Bass Pro Shop but I haven't heard what was up with that for awhile now.

Enjoying the good Bosie Id warm weather.  Talked to Tim [Pigseye] and he has a foot and half of snow in his front yard.  He is 300 miles north.  Down here is is more like desert.  Got to go.

Top o' the mornin' to you all,
Happy St Patrick's Day!!

Colin, I will pray for your family.

I just spoke to my kids and I see they are all out partying early today. It seems like there are a lot of parties today. I don't ever remember having a St. Patty's day with this much celebrating.

With the snow keeping me home today I may head downstairs and put up some new shelving in the train room. I purchased 4 more sections of that aluminum shelving from Glenn Snyder shelving. It is worth the $15 for a 6' section. I couldn't make anything for that money...and it wouldn't look as good either.

Take care, TomS

Hi Jefelectric (John),
You're right, I have not posted in awhile. My job has really been keeping me busy and when I get home I am pretty tired. The weather over the past 2 days has dropped about a foot of snow and there is a little more coming. I shoveled yesterday and again this morning.

I had plans to head to the train show in Ohio, near Cleveland, this morning but I decided I will wait till tomorrow. The roads should be clear. I am really ready for spring and hope this St. Patrick's day snow is the end of it for this year.

Have a great day all!

Good morning,

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Lots of parades cancelled today.  Guess the folks in PHILLY where not so dumb after all holding their's last Sunday, I thought it was just so they could party for a whole week.

Well everything is cleaned up with the help of neighbor.  Wife did the rest, I can't do much with a shovel in one hand.

For those of you in the land of sunshine here us what it looks like.

This was about the half way point yesterday afternoon.

Take care,

(putting on my best Irish brogue) Begosh and begorra and a happy St. Paddy's to you all from a sunny and cold Crystal Lake - may you all share the blessing those of us with Irish surnames enjoy all year. Funny you should mention DeLoreans, Nick, a new garage opened in town that just rebuilds these cars. Didn't know there were that many out here.

Colin, keeping you in my prayers.

Morning all,

Been very busy with work lately. Lookling like I will be flat out till HolidayCool [8D] on 9th April. Going to the Dom. Rep., bring on the sunshine!

Should really take the DeLorean for a spin today as its St. Pats day. Have to get her back on the road when we start the garage/gamesroom as she is sitting on the foundation slab. A pal of mine has just bought a 82' DeLorean Automatic he brought it round yesterday for me to check over. Made me miss not driving mine....

Ordered a powermaster and some fastrack and 6 O gauge straights (for our Hellgate Bridge) the other night. So I can put together a nice layout for the Lionel Collectors Club UK show.

Hope you all have a good day and don't over do the GuinnessPirate [oX)]

Morning all.  Just finished using the snowblower to clear my driveway and the neighbor's.  I sure hope this is the last time I'll have to fire that thing up this year.  Last week when the temp was 83 derees, I foolishly put the snowblower out in the shed.  We had more than 8 inches of the white stuff.  Driving home last night was interesting.  Our morning Kindergarten group had dismissed at 11:20, and one of the buses slid off of a hill into a ditch and had to wait for a tow truck.  No one was hurt, but in usual 5 year old fashion, somebody had to pee.  The driver had to let at least 4 of them go outside and pee in the snow bank. Schools were dismissed early at 1:15. Usually all the buses (18 of them) and the kids are out the door in 15-20 minutes.  Yesterday it was an hour and a half.  They finally had to send another bus to pick up the kids who normally ride the bus that slid into the ditch.

Happy B-Day [bday]BrentHappy B-Day [bday]

Colin - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Sometimes when it rains it pours.  Hopefully better days are ahead.

Looking forward to lunch next week with the Chief. Brent - Do you still want to ride together?  If so, e-mail me.  We can meet up at the outlets and go from there.

Have a great day.

Good morning all,

It is sunny but cold in SE Indiana with temps in the 40s today.  Tmcc man, my thoughts and prayers are you and your family.  Hang in there, guy.  I have been down the road you are traveling.  There are a lot of good people here on the cofffeepot pulling for you.

I woke up early this morning and was hungry so I went to the dining car and had brekfast before I sent it on to "Points East".  Looks like it arrived on time, but the waitress here has a question about the bill.  I guess I better "pay up".

I had a late meeting off site yesterday close to Train Express so I went there late afternoon.  Now you can see what is in the warehouse.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....

It is a cold 25 degrees. Light snow and going up to 39 today. Looks like winter is still hanging on.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to Everyone !!!!!

Today, I have a few things to do around the house and then, I will spend the afternoon in the train room. I got a lot of things put away, yesterday, and need to finish. Found a few things in boxes, that I had forgotten about. Looks like I have enough scenery items. I'm going to be busy for awhile.

Well, the Dining Car has arrived and I will have breakfast.

Y'all have a great Saturday.

Mornin' boys.  Two inches of sleet and snow on the ground has cancelled the St. Patty's Day Parade down in Dundalk.  Roads are a mess with a crustlike glaze.  Let's see, got my Milk, bread, toilet paper, spare bottle of PROTOSMOKE.  I'm all prepared to hunker down in das bunker.

Haven't heard from BAKEER lately, what's shaking English?
