Hi guys from a warm but not too HOT St. Louis.  No rain for a change.  I stopped at Home Depot and got some Romex and surprised that a roll of 250 ft was only $65!  last time I bought some it was about $90.  I guess that timing is everything.  Jaabat, welcome to the home computer world.  Hope Mrs. Blueberry is continuing to improve and that our English Brothers remain dry and well.  I picked up a small Tap at Home Depot for 4-40 screws.  Now, why didn't I think of that before?  Banged Head [banghead]  Need to get a new motor from Jeff now.  Also, mailed my check for my 022 switches today.  For some reason our car insurance went up $200 for 6 months.  They switched us to every 6 months last year and now it's going up?  I think it might be time for a new insurer, because we had no accidents or anything in the past year.  Oh well, TTFN.

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Yanks do NOT know how to cook.  No seasoning and still raw [they say crisp].  Had squash/onions seasoned with bacon drippings, corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers for dinner [all from garden].  When you cook green beans [string beans in the South], you season with ham hock [or bacon drippings] and boil them with pealed irsh potaotes].  When all get cooked good, drain them and chop up green beans.  Cabbage, do the same.

Then, you go bury this mess in the back yard.

Iron??????  I did not know Yankees knew how to iron.  Thought they wore big heavy coats and sweaters over their clothes during the winter.  During the summer, they always wear seersucker. Shock [:O]Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Just got back from walking to pond and back.  Fed fish while I was there.  Was over a mile and a half.  Good for me [I guess].

I heard it was kind of foiled, Zeke.

Read this instead: Search Google Books for 'motorman' and read what comes up - The Motorman and His Duties - this is one of those scanned books from the U of Michigan Library's transportation collection - from 1903 - there is also a similar book about how to be a successful motorman. For the next time you have to drive the local trolley.

I'm hoping the trolleys win out too Wink [;)] - did I tell you about the Chicago Aurora and Elgin shut-down re-ennactment at the museum this past Saturday? My buddy went.  They shut down mid-day 50 years ago after shuttling commuters into the Loop and stranding everyone who had to find other ways home. Three full CA&E cars that actually ran that day went out to the Seemann Road stop, which was standing in for the Forest Park terminus of the CA&E. Everyone was let off at the platform and the cars went back empty. There was a nice talk about what happened on that last day of service and then the C&NW came to rescue everyone with the bi-level train.
