Good Morning from Blueberryhill....

It is a beautiful, sunny 62 degrees. Staying sunny and going up to 80 today. This is perfect weather.

Today, I am busy. Need to mow the back yard and trim, as soon as the dew dries off. Wife is doing good. Pain a little less. Tomorrow she goes back to doctor for a check up. Hope she can start getting around more. Have not had any time for trains. But, the thought is there.

If I have missed any posts, I hope all is well with all of you Folks and if not, you will be in my prayers.

Dining Car was here early and breakfast was self-serve again. It should have arrived at " points west "  by now.

Y'all have a great Sunday. Catch ya later.

Chuck

Jim,

Your latest e-mail was very apt in the light (pun intended) of what happened in Glasgow yesterday.

May they all burn in hell!

Good evening all,

It was a nice day in SE Indiana with temps in the 70s.  I did the sweeping and mowed the lawn.  I was tired.  After resting a while, I went over to my dad's and watched the Dario Franchitti show at the IRL race in Richmond.  Danica was 6th.  Buddy Rice was 5th for D&R, and the "Evil Empire" was shut out of the top 10.  Manning was 14th.  Scott Speed will start 15th in the F1 race tomorrow on Fox.  I am glad to hear the waitress at "Points East" is doing better.  We had pancakes and bacon on the dining car this morning.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Evening all.  Pam and I went to Texas Steak House with SILs and their two young teenage kids [boy & girl].  Then to movie Knocked Up.  Not for very young teens.  I laughed my behind off.

Ran trains for two hours this afternoon after getting back from Miss Edna's.  Switched from a mixed freight to grain train while the fast piggyback/double stack train ran by.  Moved the trains from one loop to the other and had them both on same loop for a couple of rounds.  Just had fun.  Did remember I had a used Z750 in a box.  Got it when I got switcher, some cars and used Realtrax.  Had polarized plug.  I might use it for accessories. ??  I phase all my transformers [even though not necessory if not connected to other transformers or using the same common.  Well, should have known Mike was different from everyone else.  Cut plug off and put on another polarized plug with wide blade switched.  Now it phases.  Why would they do that except to be just plain different.

Good night.  Full of theater popcorn [after a big NY strip].

Yes he made that place famous but I never thought they were anything special, until Mash came along. They named a park after him and he host a LPGA turny there.

Thanks for the company tonite, I'm going to find a place to sleep in the pullman need to save my money for toy trains.

I'll take a cup toCoffee 2 mine went cold.

met up with mable and theres alot she is not taking. i told her that the best thing to do was prolly have an estate sale. This way she can sell off everything she dont want.

They have a 35 ford in the garage i knew nothing about. Hasnt been drove in 10 yrs she said. I wish i could buy it,lol like i need another car. But she will make a fortune with all her stuff. She has so much quaility stuff. So i discussed her moving in with me and she said she didnt want to be a burden, i explained she wouldnt be and i would be delighted for her to move in. I have 2 extra rooms she can have rent free. has its own entrance to. told her to think on it. Went down stairs and sat and looked at all the trains, she told me i could box them up and take them anytime. I figure within the nex cpl days i will. Guys there are so many trains. He has all 4 walls completly shelved and full of trains. Plus the ones on the layout. i couldnot possibly use all of these. I am gonna repay those who have blessed me. Every single one has a box too. Thier are some i will need help identifying for sure. some look like tin trains, they say lionel though. look relly old. I must sat there 30-45 minutes imagining charles down here running these.

well been a nice day im going out to eat tonight and then see some fireworks Fireworks

catch you all later tonight

Don't get their games here unless they are playing the tigers. However thanks to ESPN I do get to see some bowling green(oh) and my favorite Toledo Rockets during football season. And since I was born and raised in Toledo I am a Buckeye fan. Even got one daughter in law on my side now.

Never sold on ebay have bought. ebay purchases make me worry until the package comes.I stick with low price items and use PayPal only. Been lucky to have bought from honest sellers so there is a lot of good but common sense is needed. Good luck with your sale.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto]  RT - you are right sir (both on my goof and on Zeke's windfall).

Hey Chuck, hope Mrs. Blueberry is doing well and you got the lawn done.  I got a light fixture up in the hallway in the basement and wired the switches.  That just leaves the light fixtures for the bedroom and then the bathroom wiring.  Getting closer and closer!

Babysitting our friends' kids again - 2 Saturdays in a row.  Yippee.  On the good side, De Anna will watch our kids for about a week while our regular sitter is on vacation, so we'll get our own back then.

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Zeke the good lord may have headed you this way so you could help her and look at this way she'll never replace but she may turn out to be a second mother for you and right now you both could use each other.

Zeke,  I agree with what's been said about the trains.  She'll know they're in good hands, and you'll be sharing the fun with your 10-year old friend, and others.

On another note, even though you've just met, make shure she's financially secure.  Charles may have been saving those trains for retirement, as a just in case.  It doesn't hurt to ask.
