Kurt, The Gratiot Valley is an ho club and I am not a member. I do know some of them as they have a very large train show twice a year. First sunday in march, first sun in nov.Been a seller at their shows for many years and also help the Wild Bill group set up and take down so I do know some of them however I usually only see them on show days and would not be able to ask about the bldg. maybe someone in this ho forum would know as they are a large club.

Good evening guys,
Good news on the insurance front. It usually gets results when the guy who chooses the insurance carrier and pays the bills, gets in the act.
Don, Glad you are over the panic attack, thought you might have to call in your friend Jack Daniels to give you a hand.
Reggie, The little princess sure is a charmer, guess she takes after her mom.
I did pick up my MTH (sorry Chief) L&NE Mikado today. Great runner, great sounds and of course lots of smoke. Ran it with 15 mixed die cast hoppers and a Weaver L&NE caboose. It's a keeper. Laz, Barry was out in back unloading his Van. The garage bay was full to the roof. Looks like another batch of stuff has arrived.
Take care,
Sir James I: Did you say you belong to the Gratiot Valley Model Railroad Club???
Do you know what material was used to construct this building?
Thanks,
Kurt
Oh Chief...Just having a little fun...
I was aways on the Architect side, but I usually walked thru with corporate after a soft opening, and discussed changes for the prototype. I did see enough plan-a-grams to know exactly what you're talking about, and can walk into some of the retail I worked on and point to changes.
Stop by the Panera Bread at the Summit in Montgomery...I worked on that one. Let me know what you think of the dining room, especially in the evening. We put lights in the floor around the giant glass portico.
After a 1 day break from the shed I was back at it today... got both gable ends sided, trim along the roof line, and 2/3 drip edge on. Moved more items inside the shed too... now that it is weather tight to an extent nothing should get damaged if we have another storm between now and completing the roof (finished drip edge, apply felt paper, install shingles). Susan stopped out tonight to check on me and she asked if I had enough siding... ... I already had the gable ends finished... it's all good... still love her.Rich, it appears we were the only ones that caught it... IT was REALLY vague! Guess the others are just showing their age a bit... Off to make Tacos for you know who!

Hey you OHIO guys...I passed the Silver Meteor heading South today and on the tail end was the Ohio Central heavyweight Sugar Hill. An out of place passenger car on the streamliner Meteor. I got a quick look, it is a very beautiful car, just wondering why it was here....
Any thoughts?
And, here is the FEC I caught yesterday:

Kurt, ooo are you in for it now! You are hereby marked as a D--- Yankee like some of the others. Better keep on your guard. If I ever get your way, the Great Grits Cauper may happen again.
As for the other two smart Yanks, they are up to their in poo poo.
Must admitt, got off on a wrong road. In this part of AL, you are immediately in the swamp and middle of no where. Then it happened!!!!! I was right beside a train track. I met a CSX coal train. Quite a long one but not too long. Bathtub gons full of coal. Funny, majority were marked NYC??????? Guess CSX can't afford a little paint.

That is very true. Normal for Chief. He is the only passenger that boarded the plane, carrying his own " Big " seat. I wonder if it was a Cargo Plane.

Doug & Mike...Chrysler stopped make SWB vans as they aren't selling like the bigger ones and since GM & Ford are not making minivans anymore, they can preety much do what they want. The imports have nothing on the American vans (in my opinion).
Hey Brent, I get the feeling that you n I are the only ones that get Fife's Birthday thing!!
Home early for a change...gonna enjoy din din now!!!
Good afternoon for New England. I just finished priming and painting my yellow starter set boxcar. It's now "B&M" blue. Actually, it's Tamiya French Blue, and is an almost exact match for Lionel's B&M blue. This is the first time I've used the Tamiya paint and I wasn't prepared for how forcefully it came out of the can. That resulted in a small run way down at the bottom of the car...Lionel's had runs too. It's all good.
Got to get going. I'm making the kids some dinner.

Reggie, beautiful family you have there. You can be proud of the football days, but I bet you are more proud of that darling little girl!
Chief, change of plans, we will be heading to Montgomery tomorrow evening, and then I will be heading to Prattville Saturday. After dinner, we will be heading back to GA as I have lighting duties for early church. Let me know the plans regarding the get together. Also, give me an address to meet y'all at as I can just plug it into the GPS.

At Prattville AL BPS. In room at Holiday Inn across the street. Resting. Went to store and did my "entry chores" [restocked shelves as they are never done right, rearranged an end cap and put up two POP posters]. Then at 3 PM my time [they are CDT], I finally got to eat for the first time today.
Reggie, be proud of both of those pretty ladies.
Time for a cool one!!!! [Pepsi One, shame on you thinking what you did ]
Good afternoon all,
Doug, we had two short vans. One was a 1990 model, the last year they made it with a manual transmission. That was one of the smoothest shifting transmissions I ever drove. It had the 2.5 overhead cam 4, which was a stretched version of the 2.2 that was in the Omni/Horizon. That was a good combination and we had that for a long time. The A/C went out on it and then the body started to go and we traded it in when we got the PT Cruiser in 2004. We also had a 1998 model with the 2.4 double overhead cam, which would have been a screamer with a 5-speed, but Dodge only sold it with a 3 speed "slush box". It was serviceable, but it ran out of breath quickly. After it was totaled in a wreck in 2001, I told the wife we were getting the long wheelbase model, and it has been very nice to drive.
Keep on training,

Sorry, forgot to mention that. Yea, that F40 is nice, but I really like the Challenge Stradale. I'm F50GT, what's your name?

I had to register to view the pictures. Nice F40, that is my favorite.
Not much new here just been trying to make the most out of my summer. I went to a Nascar race two weekends ago (Nextel Pocono), Philly last weekend, concert tomorrow night in NYC, studying for next semester already, and very slowly working on the layout. I have pictures but haven't had time to post yet. Maybe tonight. I'm also hoping for a nice lightning show tonight. We'll see what happens.
A bit late today. Had early Doc appt. Had to get some premalignant (as they call them) moles and other spots removed. Doc nailed me with the freeze gun in about 30 places - hands and forehead - man that stings!
I also have that issue and the pic Buckey posted was Photoshopped! The "LAYOUT FOR OLD GEEZER IN NC." actually reads "GEEZERS BUILD LAYOUT FOR NC." Shame on you Buckeye!
Not as hot today - maybe 100? The tropical storm in S.Texas is cooling us off!
Fife - I am still trying to figure this out - so I say anyway!
Reggie - great family you have there. I particularly enjoyed your comment about your wife's spending and that the money could have been used on trains! Now I know why you did not include yourself in the photos, the bruises and swelling haven't gone down yet!
Have a great day all!
Regards, Roy

Reggie - Your pic has been on my computer... I'm not saying anything but if she wants 'em there is little you can do to stop it... " border="0" width="30" height="20" />

i dont want anymore until she gets a little older. when i say she is a hand full man she's a handful. i taken her up to the train room and she loves the fair area. i guess because of all the different colors and objects on there. i ran the trains the other day for her she watched them go from one end of the room to the other end. when it got close to her she really didnt know what to think. but she didn't show any signs of not liking them so thats a start. if she doesn't like something she will let you know right away.
