Happy Easter All!
Lady F's making lasagne tonight, just the two of us, locked down just like everyone else! So I'm wearing a red shirt today 'cause ya know, accidents happen!
Hoping for an end to all this madness the first of May.
Happy Easter. Staying home. Grilled chickens.
Watched Fellowship Church, Dallas, at noon. BIG Church.
Stay well.

Wishing all a very HAPPY EASTER.
He is risen.
Cloudy and 60 today. The two of us will have a turkey dinner alone. It was one I bought at Thanksgiving. Good thing too as the freezer is looking kinda empty. We are gonna have to go out soon, like it or not.

Mornin' b... Ok, rt, thought I was looking in the mirror. Cloudy and 40 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Nothing planned for today, just a little ham dinner later on.
Did get up the mountain to visit my folks. It was hard seeing my mother, yet not being able to hug.
Came home to a wonderful shrimp dish my lovely wife preparred. Then I assisted the youngest princess in the train "garden", as she finished the creek beds she started a few weeks ago. After several hours, turned out nice.
Happy Easter.
And it's happier, because Phish has our backs.

Good evening all,
Watched the Indy car Irace today at Michigan. Good show. Got to watch it live on YouTube. Picked up sticks and cut down honeysuckle where I could find it. Wife and I went for a walk, worked on a puzzle and watched some more Hill Street Blues. Weather was nice today but now it is raining. Kevin, you have a lovely looking granddaughter. Hopefully she will get to compete soon. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Evening all,
The Easter Vigil Mass was in an empty Church but streamed on utube. It seemed kind of weird but it was good to celebrate Mass in person this evening.
It has been another crazy few weeks. I've thought of you often and in addition to trying to keep too many balls in the air I have been able to work on the layout some.
Good Night and Happy Easter!
May God bless you and your families
Jim
Hello there,
Stay home order here so far only til April 30, not holding my breath.
Governor declared school over for the year. Grandsons new teacher in danger of being fired for drinking on the job. His sister is doing well. Haven't heard anything about the little ones. Watching church on TV just isn't the same.
Gonna miss the clan gathering at daughters tomorrow and the egg hunt afterwards. Daughter has a big ham but now just the 4 of them. Not sure of sons plans, he might have to work 2nd shift.
Mrs and I are having a small canned ham, sweet taters, mashed taters, noodles and corn.
Weather here has been goofy. Thunder storms, wind constantly, thunder snow, rain and sun, sometimes all in the same day.
Before all that started son planted a new hay field one day and added $1k worth of fertilizer to several fields the next, should've had twice that. Looks like one of the 2 hay fields we thought was wasted is coming around.
Fife......nice addition to the train room
Kev.........Congas to grandaughter and her horse.
Roy.....glad you made it back. The Flyer stuff sounds like fun
SJ ...if Lowe's is only allowed to sell repair parts what are stores like Wallyworld doing? Here customers are limited but everything is available. HD and Lowe's are also limiting the number of people but everything is available too. I've done a couple of online orders with pickup at both. The local ACE is pickup only. If you don't order ahead you go to the door and they go get what's needed. Service and parts are the only thing auto dealers are doing. The restaurants that aren't closed are offering takeout or curbside pickup.Mrs and I are trying to stear clear as we're both high risk
Red Cross is crying for blood donations but they must be scheduled and there are no open time slots. Hope it is high turnout not lack of workers.
Bed is calling.
Prayers for those in need and this pandemic to end soon.
Well I'm back! Turns out the bus ride and big screen was just a presentation for a time share! Think they are getting desperate?
Storm front rolled through. First of several. Rain on and off through sometime tomorrow. Cold temps for beg of the week.
Finished up a rebuild of an AF 1949 322AC yesterday. Runs great on the bench. Smokes 'em up good!
KEV - great pic of the granddaughter and horse. My daughter was big on equestrian stuff/riding and at one point I thought we would be owning a horse. Luckily she fell in with a lady that owned a stable and got to work there, having her pick of horses to take care of and ride. Saved me a fortune. Ain't cheap to board a horse in the DFW area.
Kev,
The weather out here has been crazy, but we do have sun today !
One of the higher local mountains got 16" of snow but the ski areas east of the L.A. area got as much as 3 feet of snow. Unfortunately all these great conditions can't be used. They are all closed.

Slept late. Cooked western omelet. Now resting before riding over the yard on mower. Have to get garden ready to plant. 70 and sunny.
Could not believe the wind yesterday. Blew Wifey's umbrella into pond. Knocked over the big concrete statue in the corner. Will have to get it out of the water later. Big barn doors would suddenly hit you and almost knock you down. Was not bad in the woods. Just kept a look out for limbs falling out of trees. Seemed good to get there and do some things.
Not much mask wearing here. Folks seem to do good at distancing.
All stay well.
Mornin' boys. Mostly cloudy and 35 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. It was Postwar night in the train room, and I could've used a 2nd operator, as trains were going all over the place.
Finally got around to hanging the wall art, that Wifey purchased for my Fifeday, on the train room door.
KRM - Might have to post a video of the new "team".
Evening,
Kev, Congrats to your grandaugther, very good picture, she looks like she is very happy. And a very nice looking young lady.
Doug, you only got the left overs from what it dropped here. It has been raining all week, got over 3" today. The river channel in the back has been roaring! Maybe, just maybe, it may stop tomorrow morning.
As of today we are now on a tighter restriction. Our lock-down has been extended until May15th, only permitted to leave home for "essential" trips. Chris has a document from the state, identifing him as a critical state employee, I think all state employees were issued them. As a result, IF we go out we could be subject to a $1,000 fine, and 6 months!
Then, when you do go out, a face mask IS required, if you get out of the car you must have the mask on. You do not have to wear it IF you are in your car, unless you have the window down talking to someone, or while going through the drive thru.
I don't really have a problem complying, we dont go out that much anyway. But, I dont know how those with young families can realistically comply for the next 6 weeks.
Better go get back on the bus.
Take care all and keep safe.
Don
Went east. Horrible winds. Did spray food plots and around barn. Stay safe.
We are begining to turn into Fungus Corners with all this rain. Yesterday all the towns surrounding San Diego set records for a day's rainfall and they were predicting that today it would surpass yesterday's figures. My backyard looks like a swamp with all the standing water. All the french drains are running like a faucet on full blast and it is a 3" line running out to the gutter.
DougDG, Too good!!!
Great day here but tomorrow we go back to winter for another week.
Our Granddaughter Madyson and her new show / riding horse. How cool is that? The son at last gave the horse they got for her to her yesterday, Jax. This horse seems to respond best to her. All the others riders have had issue, but Maydson and Jax seem to bond.
She does English riding and has many ribbons and awards. Her and this horse should show well together. We are so proud of her and all the work she does!
wrmcclellan Buenos Dias compadres from sunny Mexico! I am lying on this nice bed watching beautiful scenes on a giant surround screen - it is so peaceful! Little green crackers for snacks!

Roy, How about some Oreos ?
Good Friday. Cold and breezy in the Potomac Highlands. My goal is to check in on my folks today. Took care of some RR biz yesterday, and stopped by the supermarket. Mowed the lawn late afternoon, and the rows look tight. Would like to whack the emerging dandelions, but don't want to burn the lawn.
KRMBut, but, but Roy. I just found out that bus is not going to Mexcio,,,It is heading to the Texas Soylent Green factory. And that Texas Lt. Gov. owns 51% of the stock of it.
Message from Lt Gov Dan Patrick:
You will Comply
wrmcclellan Would you guz just get on da bus so we can get going...
