Buckeye, I Narrowly missed getting a kidney stint myself on my last procedure.  They found one more stone that is too large to pass so I will have to go back in the hospital in about three weeks and hopefully get it broken up like they did on the last one.  Meantime, I am completely pain free at the moment but I feel like I'm walking around with a time bomb inside.  Hope you get well soon.

SP....I throughly understand about walking around with a time bomb.  In 2015, I was standing on a bridge under construction over the Ohio river and BOOM!

Good evening all,

Been a good three days.  Thursday was quiet at work.  Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 that night.  Good flick.  Worthy sequel.  Did not screw it up.  Spent a wonderful Friday at the track.  Saw the AJ Foyt exhibit at the museum and other display items.  Well worth the visit for that alone.   Watched several support races and met the lady racer from Norway.  Came home and mowed the yard in an hour!  New track record!   Went to the Indy GP Saturday with wife.  Saw a great Indy Lights race.  Foyt team did the usual dismal performance in main event.   Still the weather was perfect and the wife enjoyed the day as well.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Morning guys,

Just Grand-son Jordan and me here. Cat was out all night but came in this morning to eat then leave again.

We just got out of bed. We were watching TV in bed, Jordan liked that.

We are having some cereal and all is well. He slept all night with no problem.

Yesterday he got a lesson on speed on two wheels, gravitational pull and gravel. Also Road-rash.  Surprise Laugh

Happy Birthday Doug! Happy B-Day

And happy Mothers day to all you Mothers out there. Wink

Hello There,

Happy Mothers Day. (Hope no one forgot. Might be in deep do do)

Think I missed a birthday or two. Belated Birthday Wishes to those I missed.

Finally put away my treasures from York. Some HO buildings, a Lionel rocket launch car and enough farm animals for a Ranch. A prewar boxcar and #91 overload. All for less than  $50.

Stuff p

It's been a really wet spring here. Son has been giving the Oliver a workout with the new (to him) rollover plow. It allows you to plow the soil the same direction without running back doing nothing.

Tractor

Best move on.

Prayers for those in need.

Morning.  Beautiful day and 81 degrees already.  Will dry out now and be warm all week.

On tick meds.  Will take it anyday over kidney stones.  Very lucky.  Never have had.  Do not want.  Know several that has.  Get well Buckeye.

Where is RT????  Noticed he is missing from both forums. ????

Banks, wet here too.  My farmer had to stop setting tobacco last week due to it was too wet that the tractor [massive 4 wheel drive JD] was sinking and messing up the field.

Later.

Good afternoon,

Sunny and mid 80s today but still not dry. I need to get my car hauler out of the shed so we can use it to pick up two 500 gallon LP tanks up north. Going to try to pull out the car hauler today because they are calling for 1"+ of rain overnight.

RT Nice sounding truck. I love my Silverado so far. Almost had it 5 years already.

Bob, Here are some pictures of the 2003 Ranger 4x4 project truck. At this point I am done and driveing it. May do a few more small things but most just run it. I have $1,576.83 total in it + plates and transfer.

It has some rust on the bottoms of the doors buy not bad for here on a 14 year old truck. My 6 year old Silverado is starting to bubble above the rear wheels already. Angry

Don't think it came out to bad for the investment and a week of messing with it..

Here is where I replaced the bed floor.

Good afternoon from beautiful sunny 74°F Southern Ohio,

I tried several times yesterday to get Photobucket to work and I’m rapidly getting fed up with Photobucket.  In addition to the posting issue I’m paying for ad free and I’m getting ads again.  What photo service do you guys use?

We are packing boxes for the move as of yesterday we have 30 boxes and counting.  The new house is only about 6 miles away so once we get possession we’ll start moving stuff.  We no deadline to get out and the short trip we’ll take care of the little stuff and let the movers do the big heavy stuff.  We took a van load to a Habitat for Humanity yard sale and there is another charity we support having a yard sale in early June that will take stuff to also.  It is going to be a very busy next few weeks.  One of the trickier things to move will be the chickens and rabbits.  Luckily the coop and run are made to come apart.

Banks – Nice looking Oliver

Kev – Funny; gravity wins again

Fife – I like Sherman – Williams paint a lot.  I used to do painting for extra cash and I used Sherman Williams a lot.  They gave me a discount and if a homeowner insisted on paint from a box store I’d charge extra for the labor and figured at least an extra coat.

May God bless

Jim

Afternoon all,

Long day and glad it is over (I'm calling it over).

Kev - good deal on the truck. My neighbor mad out similarly on a 1998 Ford Ranger 4wd (mini Bronco). He is going to use it for his hunting truck.

Banks - the Oliver is pretty cool!

RT - congrats on your truck deal(s).

Good evening all,

Very quiet day at work.  Good weather for walking.  Picked up sticks tonight and cut down some weeds.  Watched Jane the Virgin.  Very good episode.  Nice truck, Kev.  First day of practice at IMS.  Foyt team slow as expected.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Mornin' boys.  Sunny & 44 (headin' to 70's) along the Patterson Creek Cut-off.  Garage looks good, and I've started mounting the NASCAR cabinets on the walls.  Some of the guys here will remember seeing my collection during visits to the old Fifedom.  Today, Yeah scrubbing downspouts for Wifey.

Kev,

I have used Shutterfly for over ten years without any problems.  I will say that they seem to change the user interface too often meaning a new learning curve.  The best part is photos taken on the smart phone are very easy to upload to Shutterfly.

Here is a photo of the Chief, after I gave him a lesson in how to build a train layout. Smile, Wink & Grin  I also use this photo to keep the mice out of the train room.

Kev, nice truck for a Ford...lol

RT good luck on the NEW truck!!  NICE!!

Yeah, Fife, I do remember that, with the Checked Flag style floor!!

I need to take some time for mental health reasons and get the bike and scoot, just need to plan that and getting my excess die cast out as well as some of the extra train stuff I'll never use.  So much stuff, I might be able to retire (ok, maybe not....).

Fife, I'm still threatening to come up there, that area was just too beautiful in the summer.....

Evening All,

Not much to report on here either.  Did go to Disneyland yesterday, Kay has a season pass and wanted to see the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Took Chris to LAX this morning, he's gone to Kansas for a couple of days.  They are shuffling all the airlines and terminals around, boy is that ever a mess!  Good Luck DENNIS, hope you manage it OK.

Weather been kinda cool here, looking forward to seeing it warm up!

Does anyone have an idea where you could find the "gear box" for the Lionel Hobby Store?  Lionel website sayts they are "not available".

Take care all and have a great day on Wednesday.

Good evening all,

Good weather today.  Munoz 12th quick for Foyt team.  Quiet day at work.  Showed pain one part of what I do on a certain task so I can take off for two weeks in August.  Mowed yard tonight.  Watched Izombie.  Ending was rather abrupt.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Kevin this is actually my 3rd Silverado. First was a 2003. Started having problems they couldn't find and it would more or less all but die, got rid of it and bought a cadilac SRX 2004 ( My biggest mistake) traded it in around 2012 and got around 2004 but 4x4, now I just bought a 2014, My neighbor lady ( widow) wants my 2004 so I'm working it out so she can afford to buy it off of me. Real nice lady.

Need to take some pic's of it so I have them. Will post one or two after I do that. I need to do something about the bed though. It has some scratches in it, as the previous owner never had a liner in it. Thinking of putting in a spray bed liner. They sell kits at Autozone. For about $90.00. Doesn't seem that hard to do. you make sure bed is real clean, sand ( the area you want to cover ) it with like 120 - 150 sand paper, wipe the bed down again and let it dry again then you put it on with a foam type roller. dries in about a hour or two. Do not use for 24 hours and then your done. Will need to take before and after pics of that also.

Train wise no real news. Waiting for some sitting folks to come in so I can add them to the passenger cars I just got. Have five cars I need to put them in. Already have some standing ones I can add also. I also need to repaint the trucks on two of them as there silver and the others are black. Speaking of I still need to finish the ones on the PRR by rail-King I have ( painting the trucks black and under carriage as for some reason the trucks and under carriage MTH decided to paint like a olive green. I've done two I think of the five cars.

Talk to you all later

Get up Buckeye.  Sleeping too late.

Don, hope Chris does not end up on the Yellow Brick Road with Dorothy.  Mid west being hit hard.
